Introduction:
Welcome to KSG Boxing fight; a mini game originally from the full retail Kinect sports games. Nothing special just boxing using your kinect. This game has 10 for 50 gamerscore and will take a couple hours to finish. This game doesn't have as many tracking issues as other kinect sport gems I have played but I did have some minor issues with heavy punch body blows counting properly. So just bare that in mind. This should be a pretty easy completion for most people with the only issues coming from non-aggressive AI (you do need that to help with the challenges) and minor tracking issues.

Fight:
There is only 1 thing to do in this game and that is complete challenges. There is a full list under "King of the Ring" of challenges. As well as tips and tricks to make completing the challenges easier to do and understand. Each challenge is given a star rating on the scale of 1 to 3; 1 being painless and 3 being annoying. You need these stars to level up to get each of the 10 achievements.

Conclusion:
Overall this game is pretty easy, and shouldn't pose too much trouble minus getting the AI to knock you down enough for the challenges.

Tips:

  • Taunting is done by holding out your arms at shoulder height.
  • The best way to get to round 3 is to primarily guard for the first 2 rounds.
  • Guarding is best done by holding both of your forearms in front of your face.
  • You dizzy your opponent by filling up the meter under your health by blocking 3 punches in a row and then landing a heavy punch. The opponent should be dizzy now. Image is for reference of where the punch meter is.

  • On top is the health bar, on bottom is the punch meter.
  • Dizzy stars only show up while you're downed. In order to get back up you have to swat away the dizzy stars.
  • Another way to get the AI to knock you out is to do light jabs while the AI is blocking to build up their meter. The AI will get a beefed up punch and will get slightly more aggressive. Continue doing this and they will knock you down eventually. This doesn't work every time, but it does work most of the time

Every challenge has to be completed in order to reach level 10. The challenges are in the order you receive them. You have 3 challenges at a time; only getting new ones when you beat one.
