You’ll need a medium length shot about 10-20 yards from the pin. Then, ideally you’ll have an easy putting surface with a straight shot. If not, adjust your strategy accordingly.
For the ball to spin around the rim it has to catch the edge of the cup, and needs to be going a decent speed too. A straight putt works best because you can aim for the edges easier without the variable of a slope. Line up your shot so your white guide line turns solid. From there, move your aim slightly to where you will think it’ll hit the edge of the cup, and hit it hard enough.
