Not so Ace!

Score a return point from an incoming perfect serve when playing tennis

None of the tutorials tell you this, but if you take a step while hitting a volley, you’ll get a power shot. This is essential for winning points on higher difficulties. For “Not So Ace”, play on Champion difficulty and most of the CPU serves will be a power serve. Use your power shot and sharp angles in an attempt to win the point on your return. If you fail, try and keep the game at Deuce or ADV-Player so they are continually serving to you.

I found the easiest way to do this is with two people, have your opponent hit a perfect serve return it and then have them purposefully miss. Much easier than trying to do it against the computer on champion difficulty level.

It doesn't have to be a hardest serve with the red/orange trail. You can also get this returning a less hard serve with the white trail. It's easiest to hit a slice shot back towards the other player instead of the opposite side if playing the computer on champion.

in order to shot perfect serve, your opponent has to throw the ball up and then take step forward while hitting. Then it will fly over 100mph, otherwise around 70mph is max.
