Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Achievements

Blades of Glory

Acquire 10 Unique weapons (Special Delivery weapons excluded).

Unique items are marked by their Purple names. Simply look for all chests and be thorough in searching corpses as you go and you should have this in no time. You can possibly acquire two of them in the starting zone. This achievement only tracks weapons, so if you feel like you've got a ton of Purple items and don't have the achievement, double check if you've counted any armor or accessories by accident.

Note that you do not have to keep the weapons in your inventory to earn the achievement, so feel free to sell them as you go if you don't plan to use them.

Oblivion walker was a pile of wank. I screwed it up by using the book. I was preparing myself for a neat 1000g until I found that using a book makes it disappear.

How bout we talk about the actual achievement and how to get it? Does anyone know what a "unique weapon" is? I am assuming its a weapon thats purple or above.

#10, they have to be purple weapons, not golden armor.

@10 This is specifically just purple weapons. Purple items and gold weapons or items do not count. Gold means its part of a set and if you have any gold items they were most likely from preorder or DLC. Those do not count either as the achievement states.

Just looking for conformation that if you get a purp that you can't use you are able to sell it and it will still count towards this Achieve??

Just to confirm for anyone still confused you just have to have acquired 10 unique weapons over the course of a playthrough. They have to be weapons and you can sell any unique weapons youve acquired. Preorder and DLC items DO NOT COUNT. This is easily obtainable fairly early on. Especially if you have the detect hidden skill and go out of your way to acquire hidden treasures.

I am another confirmation that you do NOT need to keep the purple weapons, I've sold every one I've aquired and picked up the 10th and got the achievment. Tho it does seem like alot more then 10 but meh.

Just so ya know, this absolutely requires more than 10 purple weapons. As I type, I have 11 in my inventory and I still haven't received this achievement. Plus, I know I've sold 5-10 purple weapons. Either I'm glitched or this is closer to 20-25 unique weapons.

You'll start looting purple (unique) weapons almost immediately after starting the game. Eventually you'll be finding them regularly as loot drops from mobs as well as in chests.
