Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Achievements

Land 5 consecutive hits on a launched enemy.

There are countless moves that will launch an enemy into the air, any of which can net you this with ease. This can be done early on with the starting weapons (longsword/bow), described by "yevinorion" - "For juggler, best used with longsword and bow, in the very beginning part. Time two sword attacks with a small pause in between the attacks to launch an enemy in the air, then spam arrows when an enemy is in the air and it should unlock, easy."

This can also be done with a Faeblade Riposte or full dagger combo while the enemy is in the air. Both will net enough hits automatically.

If your having trouble with this, use any skilled attack that launches them in to the air, then switch to your bow and rapid fire. EZPZ

It helps if they have a decent amount of HP left. Or else you end up killing them before you get the five hits.

There is another way to do this, too. An early longsword skill lets you pause a moment between hits to launch them. So, put daggers as your second weapon. Then, hit them once, pause, launch, and start hitting Y to do the dagger's quick attacks.
That's how I got it.

I got this without even trying. If you use Chakrams and have unlocked "Arcane Weaponry IV", there's a Chakram attack called Orbital Blades. Attack from a dodge and this achievement should pop as it hits well over five times.

first achievement i got at the beginning of the game. just hit an enemy with the sword, pause and hit him again to pop him in the air. then just quickly tap y to pop 5 arrows in him if you have your bow as the secondary weapon. easiest at the beginning cause you do no damage and the weapons are weak.

Ha! Conversely, I keep getting a fourth attack hit with longsword only as the enemies hit the ground before a fifth swing. I will switch to a bow or daggers and see if I am more successful.

Got it outside the Alestar Tower at the start when you fight the Tuatha after talking to the Fateweaver. I used the Longsword's launch move then quick dagger attacks to get it.

I was doing the Road Patrol Side Quest. I found a lone Kobold and pop him up with my Greatsword of Carnage and hit him 5 times with my Fine Elm Longbow! Too easy!

Used the Longsword ability to launch him in the air then attacked with Faeblades. It worked well enough.
