Show / Hide Guide Road Map

Overview:
- Estimated Achievement Difficulty: 7 / 10
- Offline Achievements: 40 (750)
- Online Achievements: 10 (250)
- Approximate Time For 1000 : 25 - 35 Hours
- Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required for Completion: 3
- Number of Missable Achievements: 11 (160)
- Glitched Achievements: None
- Do Cheat Codes Disable Achievements: No Cheats

Overall Legendary does not have very difficult (skill level) achievements. There are a few spots during the campaign playthrough on Hard that can be quite challenging. The achievements for difficulty do not stack so you are required to play through three separate times to complete the game - approximately 5 - 7 hours for each playthrough. There are a number of missable achievements (listed below and detailed in the achievement guide) as well as 50 PDA pickups to locate throughout the game (the PDA pickups DO transfer to each new game).

Once you have fought your way through 15 - 25 hours of campaign play time you get to play online. Very few people actually play this game online so it is in your best interest to check the Achievement Trading Thread.

STEP 1: Missable Achievements - 11 (160)

The missable achievements are not difficult and the achievement guide has details on each one.

- Live Wire: Picture and written location added to the achievement guide.
- Gum On My Shoe: It is not that hard to get stepped on by the Golem, just walk under his feet.
- Jazz Hands: Use the video posted by InfernoFrY if you are having trouble: Jazz Hands! Achievement Video
- Just Another Day At The Office: Stop when you hear the Black Order Troops talking, let the conversation finish and the achievement will unlock.
- Bull In A China Shop: Don't kill the Minotaur until the achievement unlocks.
- Science!: Complete list of experiments listed in the guide.
- Power Outage: Picture and written location added to the achievement guide.
- Bookworm: See "Mint In Box"
- Mint In Box: Use the list posted by InfernoFrY: PDA Pickup Locations
- Axe-Wielding Maniac: Easy to get if you use your axe during the game.
- Fair-Weather Friends: Very helpful during the later stages and a must for "Science!" achievement.

STEP 2: Difficulty Levels - EASY, NORMAL, HARD

The EASY and NORMAL difficulties should cause very few problems for moderately experienced gamers. The HARD difficulty on the other had does have a few challenging spots. If the achievements were stackable I would say start with HARD and get it over with. Since they do not stack start on EASY and work your way up. On your first EASY playthrough (using the guide) you should be able to pick up 590 points; leaving only the NORMAL and HARD playthrough. Check the Episode Completion Achievements for tips and difficult spots on the HARD playthrough.

STEP 3: Online Achievements - 11 (160)

All the online achievements must be played in RANKED multiplayer matches. Ranked matches require six (6) people to start and a few of the achievements require eight (8). Check the Achievement Trading Thread for players looking to boost.

The online achievements will take approximately 10 - 15 hours to complete.

Your best bet is to find a few (5 - 7) dedicated boosting partners WITH microphones. The party leader (whoever is going to be in charge of hosting the games) will need to do the following: Select "Multiplayer" from the main menu, select "XBox Live", select "Ranked Match", select "Create Match". The party leader will only need to define the map location - the rest of the options can be changed in the game lobby (this helps get the games moving quicker).

All of the other boosting party members need to do the following: Select "Multiplayer" from the main menu, select "XBox Live", select "Ranked Match", select "Custom Match", select "Search for Match". If there are no matches listed or the match with your boosting party leader (every once in a while there will be other games going) hit the Button to refresh the screen. Keep hitting the Button until you see your party leader.

Check the tips under the "Leader of the Pack" achievement to see the quickest match turnaround. Set up the "who's turn is it to win this time" in the game lobby and don't feel bad if you have to kick non boosting party players (invite them to the party if you have space they may be interested in boosting as well). Don't forget to have everyone in an XBox Live party with party chat enabled. If you are using game chat, the teams will not be able to hear each other.

Individual achievement suggestions and hints can be found in the guide section. That should complete the game and you should have the full 1000. Use the guide, find some good dedicated boosters and good luck. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions or anything in the guide is unclear. I'll do what I can to help.

x360a would like to thank Jedi ObiJoe for this Road Map

You Call This Security?5
Bypass the electronic lock in Episode 1 (1)
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

You bypass the electronic locks by walking up to them and pressing and holding . There are a number of these locks located throughout the game and they are all disabled in the same way. Locks that are highlighted in GREEN can be bypassed. Bypass the lock and the achievement will unlock.

Tip: You can still move while holding . This will give you the opportunity to back away from doors that may have trouble behind them.
Heeeeeere's Deckard!5
Chop your way out of the Internet Café with the Fire Axe in Episode 1 (1)
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

After you enter the Internet Cafe you turn to the Left, the Axe is directly in front of you hanging on the wall. Walk up next to it and you will pick it up - it should auto equip - if it does not press .

The door immediately to the Left of the Axe is blocked by wood. Pull your to use the axe. Break through the door and the achievement unlocks.
Death To Soda5
Create a ramp with the soda machine using your pistol in Episode 1
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

After you pick up the pistol (from the street), you enter a building. There is an ammo crate located at the end of the hallway. To the Left is a door way leading to a set of stairs. The soda machine is located at the top of the stairs. When you shoot the board in front of the machine it falls forward filling the gap in the stairs and unlocks the achievement.
Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey5
Extinguish the doorway fire using the water valve in Episode 1
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

There is an open door on the Left after you bypass your first electronic lock - the water valve in on the far wall (water valve is highlighted in GREEN). Walk up to the valve and Hold the button. When the valve stops turning the achievement will unlock.

You will run across these valves throughout the game. Look for the water valves in particular any time you are near a Fire Drake pit - after turning the valve it typically destroys the pit - not required but extremely helpful, especially on the harder levels.
Upper Management10
Unlock the warehouse exit in Episode 2
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

When you enter the warehouse, you meet a security guard who tells you the door is locked and you need to make it to the Managers Office to override the lock. The manager's office is located on the opposite side of the building on the top level. You have to use a combination of ladders, shipping crates, and - when activated - the crate cranes. The switch for the crate cranes is on the Right side of the room about mid way up. Hit the switch by using the Button to activate the cranes. When you make it to the managers office use the override switch by using the Button. Now make your way back down to the door and the achievement will unlock.

Tip: Don't jump from the top ledge - you won't live and you will have to do it all over again.
Live Wire10
Find the Black Order-eliminating electric switch in Episode 2 (2)
After you head back into the subway you encounter a couple of Black Order troops fighting a Fire Drake - kill them and continue through the next subway car. On the other side of this subway car is a Fire Drake pit as well as a couple of Fire Drakes and Black Order troops. Run to the right side of the room and use the water valve to eliminate the Fire Drake pit.

After you clean up the area you go down the hallway to the rear Left corner of the room. Down this hallway you will come upon a steel I-beam blocking your way as well as a couple of Black Order troops. Kill the trooper that is stationed in front of the I-beam. Behind that trooper is a wall mounted box with a partially closed door. Use the Button to open the door and reveal the switch. Use the Button again to activate the switch. The Black Order troops on the other side of the I-beam will be killed by the electricity. Use the Button again to turn off the switch and make your way across the I-beam.

Note: This achievement unlocks even if you kill all the troops (and I mean all of them - even the ones at the end of the map) before you hit the switch. Hit the switch - achievement unlocked.

Gum On My Shoe5
Get stepped on by the Giant Golem in Episode 3
After making it back up to the streets from the sewer level the Golem is walking around the street. This achievement is NOT story related, but you really shouldn't have much trouble getting stepped on. If you are having trouble, just watch to see where the Golem is going - it tends to follow the same path - and just make sure you walk under it's feet.
Revenge Of The Soda10
Escape the Nari-possessed vending machine room in Episode 3
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

You enter a room with four soda machines on your quest to find the three parts of the EMP generator. When you pick up the EMP part a Nari will move a soda machine in front of the door. You have to destroy three of the machines to get out of the room (two of the three in the room and the one in front of the door). You can pulse the machines if you have animus by Double Tapping the Button. If you don't have enough animus (there is also a little to the Left of the stage behind some bars next to the EMP part), your gun works just fine. Destroy three and you are able to leave the room, which unlocks the achievement.
Jazz Hands!15
Look at all "The Great Langtini" posters littering Times Square in Episode 3 (1)
There is a video guide posted by InfernoFry which can be found at this post: Jazz Hands! Achievement Video

In order to look at the posters, you just have to face them. If you want to site them up to make sure you have "looked" at it, pull the to bring up the scope on your weapon (handgun, submachine gun, assult rifle). Make sure you don't miss any and the achievement will unlock. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the pictures you looked at roll over to the next play through.
Jack? Beanstalk, Beanstalk? Jack15
Destroy the Giant Golem in Episode 3
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

After you have finished filling all three EMP devices, the Giant Golem is killed and the achievement will unlock. The hardest part of this is the final EMP device. The Nari keep possessing it and moving it from floor to floor.
Barf Piñata10
Destroy a Blood Spider Queen in Episode 4
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

For the record, I have stated Story Based, but you may be able to get by the Blood Spider Queen without killing it. Trust me - you really want to kill it. The Blood Spider Queen releases approximately six smaller Blood Spiders. As they get closer to you, they grow in size and attack you. You can shoot them with your gun our use grenades / Molotov, but the Blood Spider Queen will keep releasing smaller spiders. Kill the Blood Spider Queen by any means necessary - from a distance with a gun is probably the best. After you kill the first Queen, the achievement will unlock.
Werewolf Whisperer15
Defeat the first Alpha Werewolf in Episode 4
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

You will run across an Alpha Werewolf part of the way through Episode 4. The Alpha Werewolf has a large tuft of black fur on its back and is a little larger than the normal werewolf. It is also far stronger and harder to kill than the normal werewolf. Your shotgun and the Desert Eagle work very well against the Alpha Werewolf. An explosive grenade is far better though - just be careful to detonate it far enough away from yourself so it does not kill you as well.
Just Another Day At The Office5
Eavesdrop on the Black Order as they cage up a Werewolf in Episode 4
This achievement is somewhat story related, but you can rush through and miss it. After the announcement from Lexington telling everyone to "Proceed to the Cathedral", you enter a building with a black and white checkered tile floor. After you bypass the electronic lock to get through the door, SLOW DOWN. When you hear the Black Order troops talking, stop and wait for the conversation to end and the achievement will unlock.
Tenderized20
Defeat the Minotaur in Episode 5
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

You can not progress beyond this point without killing the Minotaur - the gate to exit the area is locked with a padlock and it does not turn Green until you have beaten the Minotaur.

The battle with this Minotaur is tough because of all the walls you keep running into (see Bull in a China Shop). Your best bet against a Minotaur is the shotgun or the SAW (See Gun Nut achievement for details on guns) and both molotovs and explosive grenades. If you have explosive grenades, throw them (as you are walking backwards away from the Minotaur) and trigger them after the Minotaur has walked over it. The Minotaurs are extremely tough from the front but very weak from behind. When the Minotaur gets extremely angry, it will charge at you. If you are able to move out of the way, you can get a few shots off at it's back. Keep running backwards (sprint away if you need some distance) and keep shooting. The Minotaur will eventually go down and the achievement will unlock.
Bull In A China Shop15
Entice the Minotaur to destroy all Graveyard wall sections in Episode 5
This achievement is NOT story related and you can miss it if you defeat the Minotaur before it destroys all the walls. The trick is to run, hide behind a wall and when the Minotaur gets close run away again. It will keep charging at you destroying the walls in the graveyard. You have to get the Minotaur to destroy ALL the walls AND pillars. The big arch on the Left as you enter the area can not be destroyed. When the area is clear of all walls and pillars, the achievement will unlock and you will have a far easier time killing the Minotaur.
I Hate Ornithology25
Defeat the Griffon in Episode 5 (1)
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

On the opposite side of the area there is a plasma door with an electronic lock that must be bypassed to progress. The lock does not activate until the Griffon is defeated.

The same strategy you used to defeat the Minotaur works well with the Griffon. You have a short period of time to hit the Griffon with a couple of Molotovs while it is killing a council trooper. Use that time to get out of the hallway as well - I was unable to find a nice corner to hide in where I could not be attacked, so I opted for the open ground in the center of the area. The difference with this battle is that there are a couple of council troops on the other end of the stage. The Griffon will ignore you and attack them if you get close enough to them. Use this time (and their lives) wisely and unload on the Griffon. When you finally kill the Griffon, the achievement will unlock and the electronic lock will activate.
Science!10
Run all Council Base lab experiments in Episode 6
This achievement is NOT story related and can be missed. You have to run all the lab experiments while you are in the Council Laboratory. There are six different locations throughout the laboratory where the experiments are being performed.

Experiments are performed by activating the control panels in front of each location. To use a control panel - stand in front of the panel and hit the Button to activate it. Each control panel with have a description pop up on the screen when you get close to it.

When you enter the laboratory the Lower Floor has the following experiments:

1. Werewolf

a. Use the control panel to release the Werewolf
b. Use your weapon to kill the Werewolf

2. Fire Drake

a. Use the control panel to release the Fire Drake
b. Use the next control panel to turn on the sprinklers killing the Fire Drake

3. Aniform Control Device

a. Use the first control panel to activate the Aniform Control Device
b. Press the Button to change the control of the Aniform Control Device
c. Use the second control panel to deactivate the Aniform Control Device

The Upper Floor is were you will find the following experiments:

4. Nari

a. Use the control panel to materialize the Nari
b. Quickly use the other control panel to pulse them

5. Tentacles

a. Use the control panel to release the test drone

6. Minotaur, Werewolf, and Fire Drake

a-1. Use the control panel to release the Minotaur
b-1. Use the control panel to release the Test Drone
c-1. Use the control panel to disable the Inhibitor Field

When the Minotaur kills the Test Drone the Arena will be purged and reset

a-2. Use the control panel to release the Werewolf
b-2. Use the control panel to release the Test Drone
c-2. Use the control panel to disable the Inhibitor Field

When the Werewolf kills the Test Drone the Arena will be purged and reset

a-3. Use the control panel to release the Fire Drake
b-3. Use the control panel to release the Test Drone
c-3. Use the control panel to disable the Inhibitor Field

When the Fire Drake kills the Test Drone the Arena will be purged and reset

Note: You CAN release the Fire Drake and the Werewolf or the Fire Drake and the Minotaur. You CAN NOT release the Fire Drake, the Werewolf, and the Minotaur at the same time.

If done correctly the achievement should unlock.
10-Piece Bucket15
Shoot down the low flying Griffons in Episode 6
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

You are attacked by a Griffon when you make it to the top of the building you enter on your way through the stage. After you kill the first Griffon (on the ground as it is attacking you), you have to run across the open area to another enclosed area. In this next area you can pick up a couple of missile launchers. Step out of the enclosed area a short distance and press the to enter Target Lock mode. When the missile launcher has a target lock you can fire the missile by pressing the and the rocket will chase the Griffon and hit it (assuming it did not hit the building or any towers). There is an additional stash of missiles on the Left of the next open area about half way to the other side. The missiles in this stash never run out so eventually you will shoot enough Griffons out of the air to unlock the achievement and progress in the stage.

Note: Don't forget to fill up that missile launcher before you go any further after the achievement unlocks - you will need them soon.
Not OSHA Compliant10
Cause the crane to drop the metal beams in Episode 7
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

As you make your way up the destroyed building in Episode 7 you will have to shoot wires to lower parts of the building (to make ramps to the next level) in order to progress. The wires you need to shoot are highlighted in GREEN. When you finally make it to the top of the building there is a final ramp and a final GREEN wire to break. The wires are fairly easy to destroy - simply shoot at them with one of your guns. Using the to bring up the gun site will make shooting the wires a little easier. When you shoot the final wire an animation will start showing the crane falling and the achievement will unlock.

The only hard part about this is the wolves do not stop respawning and you do not get a check point until you shoot the last wire.
Power Outage10
Take out the power to the Black Order outpost in Episode 7
This achievement is NOT story base and can be missed.

After you make your way back to the ground from the building go out the door - the outpost is in front and to the Left of the stage. Go forward and make a left around the rubble - at this point the Black Order troops will see you and start shooting. There is a heavy gunner in the tower - you need to stay out of his line of sight. As you make your way around the the first corner you run into a couple of Black Order troops and an Aniform Control Device.

Did I mention you are also being attacked by Werewolves? No? Use the Aniform Control Device to convert the wolves to your side. Now, as you are standing next to the device and facing the base, look to your Left. There is a power pole with a GREEN highlighted, sparking transformer on the top. Shoot the transformer and the power to the base will go out. As with the "Live Wire" achievement you should be able to wait until all the Black Order troops have been killed, but shooting it before then will kill most of them - especially the heavy gunner in the tower.

DouBull TrouBull1
Survive the double Minotaur attack in Episode 8
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

Unlike the previous battle with double Minotaurs you do not have the luxury of an Aniform Control Device. You do however have a lot of weapons, ammo, molotovs, and explosive grenades. When you make it to the center of the room you have a few seconds before the Minators attack - pick up a SAW and/or a Shotgun and make sure your molotovs and explosive grenades are fully stocked. The trick to this battle is to move backwards around the giant stone fountain in the middle of the stage. Use your molotovs and explosive grenades and keep shooting the Minotaurs.

The only time I had trouble with this one was on Easy the first time. After I got the hang of it, I was able to defeat both of them with ease on Normal and Hard. After you defeat both of the Minotaurs, the achievement unlocks and the door in the back of the room opens and Black Order troops come out.
I Will Find You!10
Free Vivian from captivity in Episode 8
This achievement is STORY BASED and must be completed to progress.

As you progress through the building, you will eventually find Vivian and she tells you to find a way to let her out of the cell. When you make it to the next floor you will find a balcony above the cell area that has a gap in the railing. Drop down and bypass the electronic lock to let Vivian out of the cell.
Petting Zoo50
Complete game on Easy difficulty (2)
This achievement is very straight forward - finish the game on the Easy difficulty. Couple of problems with this - you can not change the difficultly after you start the game and the achievements do not stack. Since the achievements do not stack you need to complete the game three times.

As with any play through on the Easy difficulty, most gamers will not be challenged. Enemies do not do much damage and there is plenty of animus to save you when you do get in trouble. It is however a very good time to work your way through the achievements. I played through the game on Easy on a separate account to confirm the achievements for my guide and was able to pick up all the story related achievements as well as 550 points.
Animal Control70
Complete game on Normal difficulty
Again, very straight forward - finish the game on the Normal difficulty. Slightly more challenging than Easy, but still not very hard for experienced gamers. Use cover a little more because the enemies do a little more damage.
Savage Law Of The Jungle90
Complete game on Hard difficulty (1)
Third times the charm right? Complete the game on Hard difficulty. Finally challenging - in parts. Overall, the game is not very hard, there are however a few points throughout the game that really get tough. To help out a little I have posted tips in each of the episode completions achievements.

Overall you need to be far more careful when playing on Hard. Use your cover and crouch (click the Button to crouch), refill your health (hold the Button when you have animus stored), and always reload your weapon (click the Button to reload your weapon) every chance you get.
Bookworm20
Collect 1/2 of PDA pick-ups

Please see  "Mint In Box".

Mint In Box40
Collect all PDA pick-ups
You have to collect all 50 of the PDA pickups. I was able to find most without a guide on my first play through on Easy. I used the guide posted by InfernoFry and can be found at the following link: PDA Pickup Locations. It is well written and very detailed. The PDA pick-ups carry over through out all your play throughs and you can check the pick-ups by bringing up your PDA by pressing the Button and selecting "Pickups".
Gun Nut10
Fire all 8 projectile weapons in Single Player at least once
Below is the list of all eight projectile weapons and the first location of each. Throughout the game you will have ample opportunity to find and use all of these weapons. To fire your weapon, simply equip the weapon you want to use by pressing the appropriate direction on the Directional Pad and pulling the to shoot it. You can use the to bring up the weapons sight feature to make your shots more accurate. You can only carry two projectile weapons at a time. To pick up a weapon stand near it (a note will appear on the screen) and Press and Hold the Button.

1. H662 9MM Pistol - This gun can be found on the street shortly after the fire axe in Episode 1.

2. SMP-9 Sub Machine Gun - Found in the police car in Episode 2 before you face the Black Order troops - the troops are also carrying the sub machine gun.

3. Marauder Model 1010 Shotgun - Found early in Episode 3 in the sewers - the police officer is on top of his car shooting (with the shotgun) at a bunch of Nari.

4. XT9-MU Assault Rifle - Found in Episode 3 near the first EMP device.

5. Desert Eagle .50AE - Found at the end of Episode 4 - when you enter the last part of the stage waiting for the helicopter to pick you up - it is on the Left before you walk into the open area.

6. M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) - Also found at the end of Episode 4 - past the Desert Eagle - in the bunker in the middle of the open area.

7. X-F451 Man-Portable Flame Thrower - Found at the end of Episode 5 - there is a Black Order Flame Trooper in the last part of the stage. If you don't get it there you can get it in the Armory in the next level.

8. Shoulder Launched Anti-Air Missile Mark 7 (SLAAM-7) - Found in the next enclosed area after you defeat the first Griffon in Episode 6.
Axe-Wielding Maniac15
Kill 25 enemies with the Fire Axe in Single Player (1)
You pick up the Fire Axe about halfway through Episode 1. To use the Axe - equip it by pressing on the Directional Pad. Once the Fire Axe is equipped you simply pull the to use it. You should get this achievement simply by playing the game - the Fire Axe is very useful against the Fire Drakes. If you want to get the achievement quicker you can stand in front of a Fire Drake Pit. As long as you do not extinguish the pit with a water source the Fire Drakes will keep spawning (typically two at a time). The achievement unlocks after you kill 25 enemies with the axe.
I Have A Problem With Intimacy15
Use the Animus Pulse ability 10 times
You first get to use your Animus Pulse Ability at the start of Episode 2. Double tap the Button to activate your pulse ability (this is assuming you have animus stored). You will pick this up during the game - the end of Episode 3 has invisible werewolves that must be pulsed in order to kill them. If you want the achievement faster, keep using your pulse ability until your animus is drained. Refill your animus and do it again. You should be able to unlock the achievement before you drain your animus a second time.
Fair-Weather Friends15
Use Animus to change the frequency of an Aniform Control Device in Single Player
Your first opportunity to do this is in the Laboratory in Episode 6 (You have to do the experiment to get the "Science" achievement). To change the frequency of the Aniform Control Device walk up to it then press and hold the BUTTON (again, assuming you have some animus stored). You will run across these on the remaining levels and they are very useful - especially in Episode 6 were you face two Minotaurs. Use the device to bring them to your side, let them kill the Black Order troops then take them out from behind while they are still on your side.
Walkies!5
Start and finish a ranked Multiplayer match
This is going to be your easiest online achievement. All you have to do is take part in and finish a RANKED multiplayer match. You do not have to win and you do not have to host the game - you simply have to play a ranked match. The rest of your online achievements however will not be as easy. Very few people actually play the game online and you need a minimum of six people for the match to start and eight people for a few of the achievements. Your best bet is to check the Achievement Trading Thread and post your gamertag or reply to others. If you are able to get a solid boosting party with people willing to help you can knock out most of these achievements in an evening.
Right Tool For The Right Tool10
Fire every weapon available in any ranked Multiplayer match
While you are in the matchmaking lobby you have the ability to pick your starting weapon. After the game starts you also have access to a "Weapons Locker" in your base. To get this achievement you must fire all the available weapons in a Ranked match. After you have fired your starting weapons go to the weapons locker and press the Button to enter the locker. You can scroll Left and Right to choose another weapon. Continue doing that until you have fired all you weapons and thrown a grenade. Now you have to find the SAW. The SAW is not available in the weapons locker and must be picked up on the map.

The easiest map to find the SAW is The Keep. When you enter the area with the Werewolves you see a set of stairs on your Left. Go up the stairs and follow the walkway around to the Left. At the end of the walkway you will find the SAW. Pick it up and fire it to complete the achievement. This achievement unlocks during gameplay, so if it does not unlock after the SAW you missed a gun in the weapons locker.

Weapons Needed for This Achievement:

1. H662 9MM Pistol
2. SMP-9 Sub Machine Gun
3. Marauder Model 1010 Shotgun
4. XT9-MU Assault Rifle
5. Desert Eagle .50AE
6. M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)
7. M99-R High Explosive Grenade - Don't forget to throw a grenade
Warm Fuzzy Feeling10
Fill 50% of your team's Monster Machine with Animus in a ranked 4v4 Multiplayer match
This achievement requires you to play a 4 vs. 4 MAX Animus match. The MAX Animus match is were your animus limit is set to 1000. Your team DOES NOT have to win in order to get this achievement. You DO HAVE to fill the meter to at least 500 for the achievement to unlock and you DO HAVE to complete the game with all eight players (If someone drops out during the match you do not get credit for a 4 vs. 4 match and the achievement will not unlock). In order to check your progress during the game, you can press the Button - it will bring all of the players, the number of kills for each person, the amount of animus delivered and your score.

If you have a dedicated boosting party three people have the ability to get this achievement at the same time. First of all you must choose a winning team - that team will get the opportunity to get two of it's members the achievement. The loosing team will only be able to get the achievement for one of it's members. This gets a little tricky if you are trying to get two people on the same team the achievement together. You can quickly tap the Button in front of the animus machine to deliver a small amount of animus (typically 1 or 2 animus points). You must be careful and check the stats after each tap. Hold the Button a fraction of a second too long and you could go over your 500 limit - eliminating the chance for a teammate to get the achievement during that match.

The normal Werewolves give you a small amount of animus each. The Alpha Werewolf on the other hand will completely fill your animus meter with 100 animus points.
Zookeeper20
Kill 10 Werewolves in a ranked Multiplayer match without being killed
You only need six people in your game to get this achievement. During the game you must kill 10 Werewolves WITHOUT being killed. If you die, it will void the achievement and you will have to try again on the next match. Both normal Werewolves and Alpha Werewolves count as 1 kill each. You can track the number of kills by pressing the Button. It keeps count of your kills, but DOES NOT distinguish between Werewolf and human kills. You should easily be able to keep count during the match (you are only going to 10). If you want to make sure you got credit for the kill, you can watch the upper Left hand corner of your TV screen - it displays who killed what and how during the game.
Bounty Hunter25
Kill 10 enemy players in a ranked Multiplayer match without being killed
This achievement is the same as "Zookeeper" the only difference being you have to kill the human players instead of Werewolves. You can get both "Zookeeper" and "Bounty Hunter" in the same match. It really helps if you have a boosting party. Again, use the Button to keep track of your kills. If you are boosting, only one team can get the achievement at a time because you must not die to get the achievement.
Leader Of The Pack30
Be first place in kills in 10 ranked Multiplayer matches in a row
This achievement can also be done with only six players. Realistically, unless you are just really good at the game or you get really lucky, this achievement must be boosted. You have to finish first in TOTAL KILLS to unlock this. The description does not say you or your team has to win the match and it does not say you have to finish first in points. In all honesty, the boosting parties I was with never bothered to check. We set the order up in the game lobby and let one person win ten matches in a row. The person who was to win killed an Alpha Werewolf and came back to fill up the animus machine. The rest of us stayed in the base and didn't kill any enemies or werewolves.

Tips to make this go quicker:

Set the Animus Machine Limit to 100, play your matches on "The Den", set Creature Density to "High" and make sure Alpha Werewolves are turned "On". If any of your party members do not have a microphone it makes the matches extremely hard and time consuming. You CAN die and still unlock the achievement you simply have to be first in kills.
Survivor30
Survive a ranked 4v4 Multiplayer game without being killed (1)
Just like the description says you have to be playing a 4 vs. 4 match and you CAN NOT die. Obviously, boosting this achievement is very helpful, but it can be done without boosting. Stay in your base at the start of the game! Don't leave, don't attack the werewolves, don't attack the other human players and don't throw grenades. You also DO NOT have to win the game only finish it and do not die. As with the other 4 vs 4 achievements, if someone drops out you do not unlock it.
Combat Veteran45
Play 200 ranked Multiplayer matches (11)
This achievement is hard because there is no way to tell how many matches you have played, unless you are keeping a tally. They must be Ranked matches (player matches don't count). To start a ranked match you have to have at least six people in the group. Matches with six, seven, or eight players count toward your total. You DO NOT HAVE to win 200 matches. During our boosting sessions, I kept a tally after I had completed most of my achievements. Since I did not need the wins, I stayed on the losing team, only rarely picking up a win (In the last 100 matches I won only 16). After you have completed 200 Ranked matches, the achievement will unlock and you can put the game away - unless you feel generous and want to help others.
King Of The Jungle50
Win 50 ranked Multiplayer matches (2)
This achievement is also very straight forward. You have to be on the winning team 50 times. You do NOT have to finish first, you do NOT have to have the most kills, it DOES NOT matter if you die - you only have to be on the winning team. This achievement is made easier if 1) you are Boosting and 2) you are Boosting the "Leader of the Pack" achievement. If you have six people in your party, you can "Win" at least 30 matches if you keep the same teams. If you have people in your boosting party who have already completed this achievement, you can stay on the winning team until you get it. You have to complete 200 matches for the "Combat Veteran" achievement anyway so you should be able to win at least 50 of those matches.

Flashpoint 10
Completed Episode 1
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 1 on any difficulty level. For both your "Easy" and "Normal" play through, moderately experienced gamers should have very little trouble. The "Hard" play though however does pose a slight (sometimes frustrating) challenge at times. I will be adding notes for your "Hard" play through under each of the following achievements.

Tips for Episode 1 - Hard Play Through

This episode poses very little trouble for anyone of any skill level. The first episode is essentially a tutorial level. It teaches you the basics of the Legendary game play as well as the basic story line for the game.
Escape From… 20
Completed Episode 2
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 2 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 2 - Hard Play Through

When you face the Black Order troops for the first time, make sure you pick up a Sub Machine Gun - the gun sight is far better than the pistol (not to mention a larger clip and a faster rate of fire). Stay crouched and use the cars for cover - enemy fire takes out more health than on previous difficulty levels. Keep moving forward and kill all of the Black Order troops to get to the cut scene.

Completed Episode 3
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 3 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 3 - Hard Play Through

During part two of the level - in the subway where you have to find the three EMP pieces - Always make sure you turn the water sprinklers on (the valve is in the room behind the EMP device). There are also a few water pipes located around the area that can be shot and opened up. While facing the EMP (the room is behind it) the wreckage to the Left has pipes above it that are leaking - shooting the leaking areas will cause the pipe to fall showering the area with water. Keep an eye out for water pipes like that - it helps with the Fire Drakes. DO NOT STAND NEXT TO THE EMP! It's bad enough fighting off the Fire Drakes - standing in their line of fire (they are after the EMP) is even worse. Keep away and kill the Fire Drakes as quickly as possible.

The end of the stage with the Invisible Werewolves was by far the hardest part. Stay near Pandora's Box for the first half of the battle. The box gives off animus so you can recharge when you need it. The shotgun is your friend - make sure you reload often and try to kill the wolves as quickly as possible. The first few come at you one at a time after the third wolf they start to pair up. Now you want to leave the safety of Pandora's Box because they will start to come from that side and you do not have time to refill your animus and reload your gun. When you have to face two or three wolves at a time pulse them and then hit them with an explosive grenade. The grenade does a great job on the wolves. When you kill the last batch the episode ends. If you die here the checkpoint sucks! You start at the entrance to the open area - you have an invisible werewolf charging you and you just re spawned with your fire axe in hand! It changes to the shotgun (if you had it equipped when you died), but not before the wolf is on you.
Full Moon 20
Completed Episode 4
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 4 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 4 - Hard Play Through

This stage is fairly easy- the hardest part is the ending. Save your explosive grenades for when you get into trouble and use your Shotgun or Desert Eagle - both work well on the wolves. Save the SAW till you hear the pilot announce "Five Klicks and Closing" - the number of wolves attacking increases a little at this point. You continue to get reinforcements throughout the battle, so the wolves do have something to distract them.

Tips for Episode 5 - Hard Play Through

A Minotaur, a Griffon and numerous Alpha Werewolves - Really? I posted the tips for the Minotaur and the Griffon earlier in the guide - See "Tenderized" and "I Hate Ornithology". At the end of the episode make sure you go slow and snipe (with the Assault Rifle) everyone from a distance. Watch out for the guys with the SAW - they will kill you quickly. When you make it to the bridge stay near the door/opening you just walked through (the opening will now be blocked so you can't go back), after the Griffon flies by the first time make sure you reload your SAW and run to the other side of the bridge. The Griffon takes out the bridge and if you stay on the side you started on, you go with it.
Counterstrike 25
Completed Episode 6
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 6 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 6 - Hard Play Through

After the elevator makes it to the top, you run into a Griffon. Make sure you have explosive grenades and molotovs as well as a SAW or Shotgun. The rest of the Griffons you run into are easy because you have picked up a Missile Launcher. The double Minotaur attack on this level is easy - there is a Animus Control Device located in the same area. Run up to it and use it to convert the Minotaurs to your side - after you (or the Minotaurs) have finished off the Black Order troops, walk behind the Minotaurs and shoot them in the back with the Missile Launcher (you kept it right?) - don't forget to refresh the animus control device if you need to.

When you face the Kracken leave the tentacle on the Right (if you are facing the Kracken) alone. It will kill off most, if not all, of the Black Order troops on that side of the stage. Use the Missile Launcher for every enemy you face during the final battle - yeah its overkill, but it saves time trying to switch weapons. Make sure you are standing on the extra missile ammo before you take your last shot - it will reload and give an extra shot or two to use on the Alpha Werewolves on the next level.

Completed Episode 7
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 7 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 7 - Hard Play Through

I didn't notice the explosive grenades until my 4th play through! They would have helped a lot and I would have beaten the episode sooner. The grenades are located behind the door on the Right BEFORE you head up the flights of stairs. I had a hard time with the Alpha Werewolves on the top level of this stage - hence the Missile Launcher. For the record, a Missile Launcher works really well against an Alpha Werewolf. If you are having trouble at the top, shoot the two GREEN wires attached to the ground. After you shoot the second one, you can see three more on the other side of the rubble a little higher up - take the opportunity to shoot them now. When you finally reach the top and shoot the last GREEN wire you get a checkpoint.

The Blood Spider Queens are a pain, but when you figure out where they are it gets easier. The Queens in the vents can only be killed by turning on the gas (look for valves in the small storage closets) and lighting it on fire.
I Owe You An Apology14
The Lead Designer apologizes for writing the terrible pun "DouBull TrouBull" - have some points (1)
The Lead Designer obviously felt sorry for the "DouBull TrouBull" pun and decided to apologize - his reward to you - the other 14 points you should have gotten for beating the double Minotaur attack in the first place. You get both achievements - "DouBull TrouBull" and "I Owe You An Apology" - at the same time after you defeat the two Minotaurs in Episode 8.
Endings & Betrayals 35
Completed Episode 8
You unlock this achievement by Completing Episode 8 on any difficulty level.

Tips for Episode 8 - Hard Play Through

A Griffon attacks first - there is a Rocket Launcher directly ahead of you after you round the first corner. Get rid of the Rocket Launcher after you kill the Griffon. Kill everything and everyone while making your way to the building.

The double Minotaur attack is covered in the "DouBull TrouBull" achievement.

The hardest part of this stage is the final battle. Make your way slowly - using cover and killing the Black Order troops from a distance. Werewolves (normal) appear at regular intervals - kill them quickly and go back to the Black Order troops. As you are fighting your way around, use the small rooms located on the side walls (where the Black Order troops came out) for cover and a chance to reload and heal. If you wait in the rooms for the Werewolves, they are easier to kill.

Take out the control points in the following order: 1, 3, 2.

By doing that you will be in front of the Animus Control Device when the Invisible Werewolves attack. Run to the device and change them to your side. Let the wolves kill the Black Order troops. Keep venturing out a short distance to collect the animus that is building up at the second control point. After you have converted the wolves to your side 3 or 4 times, most of the Black Order troops should have been killed. Wait until you have to reset the device again then make a break for Pandora's Box. It takes a little more than a full animus bank to completely fill the panel. You have 30 seconds from the time you reset the device until it goes back to normal. If you need to you can fill the panel a little then run back to the animus control device - reset and repeat. The last part of the stage is tough because you do not get a checkpoint. Be careful and use the side rooms the Black Order troops came out of for cover and defense.
Legendary 10125
Ranked 4x4, max Animus match: filled 25% of machine, killed 10 players, 10 werewolves, won match
For this achievement you must be playing a 4 vs 4 Ranked match with the animus meter set to 1000. You must fill 25% of the machine (at least 250 animus points - you can put more than 250 and still unlock the achievement) and you must kill 10 Werewolves and 10 Human enemies and your team must win. You CAN die and still get this achievement as long as the other requirements have been met.

The easiest way to get this is to boost for it.

If you play this one right and have a good, dedicated boosting party you can actually knock out quite a few achievements at the same time. Since you have to be on the winning team for this achievement only one team can get it at a time. If you are able to complete this without dieing, you can also pick up "Zookeeper", "Bounty Hunter" and "Survivor". You can also get "The Right Tool For The Right Tool" if you use all your guns.

Trying to get all four teammates to get the achievement at the same time is the hardest part. Each person has to put in EXACTLY 250 point in the animus machine. If any one of the four go over the 250 mark one of your group will not be able to get the achievement on that play through.
