Introduction: Mark of the Ninja puts you in the shoes of ninja with mystical power brought on by his mysterious tattoos. Your journey will set you against the people that attacked your Ninja Clan at the beginning of the game, and will involve considerable sneaking, and killing, to take out the man behind the assault. The darkness is your ally as a ninja.
Your first playthrough will give you the primary story based achievements: "Awakened", "The Mercenary", "Escape", and "Fated". You will also unlock "Hismou's Heir" very early on, and you will want to focus on finishing a level without killing anyone or alerting anyone for "Mercy", "Masterful", and "Ghost". As your progress through the levels, try and aim for a high score in each level for "Descendant of Iga", and also be sure to look for the Scrolls for "Haiku", and pay attention to any bonus requirements for the 3 seals in every level needed for "Perfection". As you finish up the point and collectable achievements, you will work your way toward "Marked". Be creative with your kills and item usage to finish up most of the remaining achievements.
Second Playthrough (Other Difficulty):
A New Game + playthrough is required, which just involves loading up your game after beating it and selecting New Game +. During this time you can complete all of your still unfinished achievements.
DLC: Special Edition
DLC Level Playthrough
The first thing you will need to do is a run through of the new DLC level in order to unlock most of the stuff you'll need for the other achievements. During this time you will get the Days Long Past achievement for completing the level, and possibly a number of other achievements during this time; such as Behind the Curtain, Back to Bed With You, and Cordyceps. Personally, I chose to focus on get all of the seals and what not, as opposed to trying to get the last two achievements, as Behind the Curtain and Days Long Past both come relatively naturally. For clean up, you need to do a single run through of a regular level, and also about two seconds of another level.
The Inner Keep (Level 8):
You will no need to do a run through of a regular level, using your newly acquired Path of Wisdom style for What Could Have Been. During this time you will be able to use your moths to take out an Elite for The Humble Moth, and also to black out a spotlight for Couldn't do that Before. You will also be able to get Behind the Curtain, Back to Bed With You and Cordyceps here as well.
A Blade at His Neck (Level 9): Continue into the very next level, and immediately turn left to get the commentary for Well, I Think It's Interesting, which should be your last achievement.

You must save Azai and 4 other Ninjas at the end of level 1. If you want to be stealthy, make your way from the top of the room with Azai, to the right and down a series of vents until you are under and behind the guy on the left side of the room with Azai. Stealth kill him and then the guy beating Azai. Once they're dead, hold when you're standing near Azai to free him.
Kelly is in a large room with Snipers to the top right and top left. Immediately climbing up the left wall as you enter the room allows you to maneuver around the top of the room to take out both snipers and hit both switches to allow you to reach the center lighting fixture supports, which you can then destroy to flatten Kelly.
To reach Karajan, you need to lower the security systems of the castle that are keeping you from reaching him. Once that is done, head to the room with Karajan (marked on the map) take him out as you would anyone else.
New game plus can be selected after completing the campaign. Aside from having different scoring than the normal game, everything else carries over (you can also go back to finish stuff in normal mode). Do note that NG+ is more difficult than normal, with more aggressive enemies that have an easier time spotting and hearing you.
In order to get all three stars in a level, you may need to milk some points out of it by using getting "hidden" points from every enemy possible, even the ones you plan to kill. Meaning if you have the opportunity to hide () inside of a dumpster, or plant, etc. as an enemy passes you by, you will get 200 points apiece. On a grapple point, or in a vent will also yield points if they get close enough and don't spot you. Distracting enemies also counts for extra points, so distract every enemy possible and wait for the ? over their head to go ahead to get credit for undetected, and then air that with perfect stealth kills and that's some easy points (750 for one kill with all 3 bonuses). You will also want to look around the map for artifacts, which are on pedestals scattered throughout each level, and can be picked up by pressing . Note that though NG+ has the scores erased, you only need to get 3 stars on each of the normal missions.
Look out for the gongs that are mounted on their own sort of platform (not the free-hanging ones). They'll all be along your path, just hit them with a dart and you're good.
Free all 4 of the Ninja prisoners.
They're all in the same building, once you kill the guards make sure to hold to free them.
Save Azai without being detected.
Move to the right side of the room and climb down and come in from behind the guys.
Destroy at least 20 lights.
Either quickfire you darts by tapping or use to aim, to fire when they are equipped; to equip them. There are well over 20 lights, but start this right off the bat.
Reach the Transformer in under a minute.
Actually just need to reach the roof of the building it is in. It is a relatively short distance to the next building, just be wary of the guards along the way. You can kill a couple and still make it no problem though.
Reach the top of the tower without being detected.
Access the Communication Tower without getting detected.
Kill six of the Courier's Guards.
When you follow the Courier at the end of the level, take out 6 of his guards along his route
Fill Five dumpsters with dispatched guards.
Kill guards and drag them to a dumpster and press to drop them into the dumpster, killing them from within the dumpster doesn't work unless you take them out and put them back in. Also, reusing dumpsters with multiple corpses does not work.
Terrify a guard by killing another with a spike mine.
Pick any place where two guards come into view of one another at some point and plant a mine () on the ground where they will walk over it while within sight of another person. If you throw it too close to someone, they'll hear it and shoot it (if it's not upgraded), also the second guard must see the first guard blow up. You can do this a number of times throughout the level, one such place is the very first set of guards you run into after entering the tunnel/building. There's a motion sensor to the right of them, and it will go off if you throw the mine when it's looking at you. Toss the mine to the far side of the two guards (either from the staircase, or from the hanging spot above them), and distract the both guards to go toward the mine. Either both will walk toward it, killing one, or one will walk toward it, the other will watch as his friend blows up.
Open all the gas vents.
There are 6 in total, although the game says you're finished after 3, so just go and open the last 3 for this seal
Kill two guards with a single chandelier.
There are a couple of good spots for this one. One spot is the top right room from the elevator shaft during the gas vent part. Distract one guard under it and wait until the next one walks under it then throw a dart at it.
Terrify a guard by hanging another from a grappling point.
Requires Hangman's Hymn OR Grim Harbinger.
Reach the end without breaking any lights.
Kill Kelly without raising the alarm.
Climb up along the left side of the screen and up and around to the right side to take out the snipers. Then go back to the top middle and start attacking the supports to the lighting until they squash Kelly like the cockroach that he is.
Stealth kill all the guards in the catacombs.
Sneak into the castle without being detected.
Lure a Guard into a stealth kill using a dead body.
This can be someone you killed and left there, or a body you planted for someone to find. Once though go "OMG A BODY!" and start to run up to it, you can take them out, just make sure they don't finish calling in the body or you'll lose points.
Kill 3 Gas mask guards while they are walking in poison gas.
You have a few seconds to drop into gas and stealth kill before you choke, it's generally easier if you kill gas mask guards at a few necessary points, and you'll come across several more that are in gas (green area, obviously).
Hide 3 bodies in the final room.
You'll reach a point with a countdown until a door in the roof opens, while the lower area fills with gas. Drop to the area below that door and from there, throw any enemy bodies () throw the floor below you into the gassed area.
Ride the crate to the top of the shaft without getting off.
This is near the challenge room area (leading up to it), there will be a box that starts in a gas filled area next to a lever and a gas mask guard. Kill the guard, hit the lever and hop onto the box. Watch for the view ranges of the oncoming guards and move to the opposite side of the box to not get shot off. They'll be on the left,right,left in order.
Sabotage the helicopter without being detected.
The generator you need to sabotage is below the helipad.
Terrorize a guard into shooting another guard.
See the related achievements for tips.
Kill three elite guards.
In order to kill an elite guard you will need to stun them somehow (ie electric wires right after the first elite) or find an environmental item that kills them instantly/eventually, falling traps, or throwing a body on top of them (sometimes). Terrorizing them with anything will freak them out, wait until they stop being freaked out and quickly finish them off or they'll go back to normal.
Kill Karajan without being detected.
Watch for Snipers and motion sensors in particular. Karajan, himself, CAN see you and it won't void this.
Pickpocket both keys.
For the first guy, dangle from the vent above him, and for the second guy, quickly stealth kill both of his guards and then sneak up on him. Requires pickpocketing is similar to stealth kills, but uses .
Have all of the dogs smell you.
Move along a path that leads to the top left part of the map to find all three dogs.
Retrieve the keys without using any items
Recover the sumi without taking any damage
Get the tattoo needles without being detected
Escape the first stalkers without being seen.
Stalkers are the new ninja ladies. They have excellent hearing, they jump around like you, and they have increased line of sight. Wait until they are far away and facing away before you move.
Bypass all the bandits without taking damage.
Kill 5 enemies using traps.
Throwing a dart at a hanging bomb will instantly kill an enemy, as well as dropping one in their walking path. Tripping wires to trigger rock falls, and other stuff also works, as well as stepping on pressure pads to kill enemies standing over a spike trap. Stalkers do not seem to count toward this seal.
Remain undetected until you recover your equipment.
Trickiest part is the hallway with lights and two guards, but all you need to do is toss a dart at the first light in the room, jump into the vent and move to the exit while the guards are distracted.
Stealth kill 3 hallucinations in less than 15 seconds.
The guards are hallucinations (hence the magical blue smoke that appears when you kill one). Continue until you reach a large outdoor area with loads of guards and trees to grapple to and a stalker smack dab in the middle. The door to this area on the bottom floor of the building you're in has a guard with his back to it, so silence him first. Make your way outside, grapple up to the trees and dangle above the next two guards until the pathing one turns back and walks toward where you came from. Hangman him, and then drop down and kill his friend.
Stealth kill from a hiding spot after moving into it with serenity.
As soon as you get your equipment, head to the right and grapple down into the tree and over ---above the right guard. Drop and Serenity into the tree pot behind him and then stealth kill him.
The scrolls are like any other collectables, they are hidden throughout each and every level, with special challenge rooms for one scroll per level after level 1.
Immediately after receiving the grappling hook, use it () on the ledge above you and the one above that and move into the vent to the top left of you on the screen. Continue to the top left of that room to find the first scroll.
Proceed through. the level until you enter a large room where you can shoot a big light off the ceiling with your dart ( +) to make it fall on two guards. Once they're dead, head left from where they were and enter a doorway, climb to the top part of the room to find the scroll.
The game sort of leads you to this one. Shortly after the previous scroll you'll be told to "lean against the door to sense what's on the other side", and you'll see a guard walking back and forth between two ceiling lights. Take him out (you can access a vent from the roof) and grab the scroll from the far side of the room.
Progress through the level until you reach an area with a vertical laser in front of you blocking the way and two horizontal lasers under the ground in front of you with a gap that you must jump. On the other side is a lone guard with a grapple point above him. Take the grapple point and follow the path to a giant gong, hit the gong for a special puzzle you need to complete for the scroll. A little hint, there is a box on the level right above where you enter the challenge. Hold to move it.
Proceed back outside and a ways farther into the level until you are almost at the big circle/x on the map. Once that circle/x is right above you, head left and take out the guard, and continue left until you reach a dead end where you'll find the scroll.
Again, as you near the large circle/x at the top of the building you will be near a scroll. Instead of continue through the vent up to the roof, head into the vent to the left of it and continue to the left to find the scroll at a dead end in the vent (it's a T-shaped vent on the map).
Immediately after learning how to lockpick head inside, take out or avoid the guard on the stairs and head into the door on the right at the top of the stairs. Stop at the next door and look through it to see a red laser alarm moving up and down the far wall. Pick the lock and time your opening of the door with the laser, sprint into the room to grab the Scroll, then back out and close the door behind you to avoid the alarm.
Once you reach your first shielded soldier, look to the platform on the opposite side of the building he is next to and you'll see another guy walking around. From there, head under the platform and to the bottom right of that area to find a vent. Follow the vent to another gong, and challenge. For this one, you want to make your way around the outer wall of the area, avoiding the lasers, and pulling 2 of the 3 levers (not switches) in the room to open the left side of the inner area of the room to allow you to access the scroll.
After getting the tracker you'll reach an elevator shaft. Move the elevator and then climb to the top of the shaft and exit through the vent on the right to enter a room with 4 moving lasers. Drop into the vent in the center of the room, move through the vent and enter the room with the scroll and two lasers. Toss a smoke to make it safe to drop down and get it.
Once you get to the motion sensor over the staircase with 2 guards on it, go out onto the walkway where the guards were and drop down to the bottom floor to find the scroll just below where they were standing.
When you have to open the gas vents, open up your map with to check out the location of the bottom left most vent on your map. Make your way there and once you're in the first part of the room, head into the vent in the ceiling for the scroll.
Open the map back up again, and now head to the top right vent room. Once you're in that room (it's a big room with a chandelier in the middle), head to the right and into the vent leading to this gong for another challenge. Use your grappling hook to navigate through the lasers, to the appropriate buttons to shut the lasers down and allow you to continue to the top of the room where the scroll will be.
Continue through the level until you have to go up and to the left, passed a shielded soldier. Stop there, and instead go to the bottom right corner of the room and into the vent for another challenge. Jump across the gap you start in front of and grab the big box in front of you with . You'll need to maneuver this through the lasers and switches, and weigh down each of the scales that controls the doors in order to progress to the scroll.
Once you reach the elevator shaft leading to Karajan's office, continue into the next room and move up to the top of this room. Go to the far left end of the top portion of the room and you'll see the scroll in the path of a moving laser. Perch on the grappling point about the scroll and hold to slide down to the scroll, grab it and quickly slide back up the chain.
As you chase after Karajan, you'll come to a room with two guards watching the inside of the door and a vent leading from the opposite side of the door, to right behind them. There is also a shielded guy in the top part of this area. Eliminate the enemies, and then head into the vents above this room to see two lasers, two vases and the scroll between the vases.
Continue until you have to move a coffin to progress. Instead of going in the hole under the first coffin, continue to the right and move the second coffin to reveal a small alcove with the scroll in it.
In the elevator box riding sequence jump off to the left once you hit the top of the elevator shaft, take out the guy there and head into the vent for the next challenge. This whole challenge is similar to what you've been doing in the level, be sure to grab onto the box and keep it between you and the lasers.
The third one can be found after some more laser box action. Once you reach the circle/x head to the left first and jump across the destructible grappling hook points, hop over to a box and take out the gas mask guy who is protecting the scroll.
Progress until you reach the place where you can swap out your techniques, and continue right, head into the vent and start the challenge. This challenge is rather silly, because you need to drag and throw corpses around the room to block off lasers and weigh down a switch. Make sure you throw as many bodies as you can down to the bottom floor when you get there so you can basically carpet it and the lasers will all turn off on the bottom level. Also, you can throw a body through the electrified wall at the end.
From the store, backtrack a bit and take the vent that leads S/SE. take out the guards and the elites and head into the room in the bottom left for this scroll.
After either sabotaging the helicopter or killing the pilot, the door on the left side of the map will open up so you can finish the level. Head in that direction until you see a guard. Take out the guard and drop below the bridge he was walking on and head left to find the scroll.
You'll see this as you come into the building, in a room above you. Circle left and up into the vents, move the box so you can enter the vents nearer the scroll. Head right, outside and down into a little alcove with the fuse box. Destroy/ shut off the fuse box and backtrack through the vents, grab the key as well while you're here. Once you're back to where you first saw the key, head right this time and up into the vents to grab the scroll.
As you climb out of the previous building, the path will start to go left, with a switch next to the door you need to open to proceed. Instead of going that way, go into the vent on your upper right for another challenge.
Located in the top left corner of the map. When you're outside, head all the way left and then climb up the side of the building until you can't climb anymore and that's when you'll reach the scroll.
Rather soon after beginning the level you'll come to a building (just as the sandstorm starts) that has the entire first floor covered in explosives and the 2nd floor is an open balcony that leads to a grand staircase. On the right side of this building is breakable flooring that you can fall through down into the basement. In the basement you'll find some more bombs, tripwire traps and the Scroll.
After talking to the prisoner about his tools and stuff, head into the next building and go down into the basement, which has tripwires attached to boulders and some more bombs. Clear the basement out and continue heading left to find the challenge and scroll.
In the rightmost 1/3 of this map, while above ground in the sandstorm, you'll come over a thin ceiling leading to a little underground bunker with two guards directly below and two sleeping dogs to the right of them. You may need some luck from this, but in general you want to hit the bell to the left of you (probably hit it twice) and move to either side of the thin floor so they don't spot you. As soon as both guards are facing away from you, immediately drop down and stealth kill both. The scroll is to the left in a slightly hidden tunnel.
As you jump to the building with the stalkers in the beginning of the level, you will see the Scroll on the interior side of the wall you are facing. Enter the building and hide in the vases to avoid the stalkers, or just take them out and move up the staircase. The scroll is on a ledge over the staircases.
As you exit the tunnels and proceed to the next building, stop and head into the small tunnel next to the one you just came from (there is a tall sort of gazebo above the entrance) to find a new challenge. Use your new ninja technique to make it safely through the challenge.
As you exit the tunnel with the scroll challenge in it, head immediately into the next tunnel you come across as you make your way to the next building. Watch out for the stalkers, and make your way up to the top ledge of the area they are patrolling to find the scroll in a dead end on that ledge.
SECOND TRAIN TUNNEL!! A dangerous, nearly impassable tunnel should be a dead give away, but if you happen to go left in the second train tunnel (where you climb on the ceiling), it's very hard/impossible to backtrack to this. Instead, head to the right and move over to the grappling hook point above the block that disappears when it has light on it. Guess where the light comes from - the train. Once you're on the ceiling above the block, wait for the train and as soon as the block even slightly vanishes, drop down and climb into the floor vent (just falling onto the floor won't work, fall and press ). For the challenge, break the light in the middle of the room with a dart, spin the wheel in the middle, shine the light on the top right door-blocking block, go pull the bottom right lever, spin the center wheel so the light is on the top left box, then pull the bottom left switch. Move the center light to either of the big masks on the wall to reach and destroy both generators. Climb up either wall facing the center of the room and use Mark of Serenity to jump across to the inner side of the box on the opposite side of the room, then grapple up to the scroll. (Congrats on getting "Of the Mind!")
As you're entering the next set of tunnels (the alternate path to the building full of stalkers) there will be a shield guard to the top right of you, blocking your progress. From here, look to your right on the staircase to find a vent for you to enter and grab the flag.
After you head back, and finish leaving the tunnel, instead of progressing to the right, head to the left to the building full of Stalkers. Climbing up the right side is a bit safer, but be aware that stalkers patrol each floor. The scroll is in the vent at the very top of the building.
Don't fret on this one, if you DO get detected, you can simply reload last checkpoint and you're good to go. Be mindful of the various paths you can take to avoid or silently take out targets as you progress through a level. This can be done rather easily on the very first mission.
Since this is most easily done in the earlier stages, I did it in level 2 while wearing the Path of Silence outfit for added security. Having silent sprinting made the run a bit quicker, and actually safer as a couple of spots were tight squeezes between a guard and a hard place.
The challenge rooms are the puzzle rooms listed under the "Haiku" achievement. Completing each room will grant you a scroll, and put you one room closer to this achievement. Generally speaking, they are meant to test your ability to maneuver in tight environments, while also sometimes solving a minor puzzle. It would be best to just follow my guide for "Haiku", however I did label the challenge room scrolls a bit differently (! - ) in case you missed a room and need to go back for just that. They are also included in the videos posted for "Haiku".
You can terrorize guards a number of ways. One way is to throw a corpse at them (Things Better Left Unseen), or have one + guard(s) watch while a guard either steps on a spike mine, gets crushed by a chandelier, falls from being hanged by your grappling hook, and a number of other fun ways. During this time you can also get the achievement for having one guard kill the other as guard's go crazy when they're terrorized.
Much of your progress toward this achievement will come from using the Noisemaker item you receive early on in the game. Select it using the dpad, and the pull the to aim within earshot of an enemy, and tap to toss it. To make it go by quicker, you can just distract groups of enemies, and/or keep reloading at a checkpoint with a group that is easy to distract.
Shooting out lights near a guard is the easiest way to do this. Simply equip your darts () and hold to go into Focus mode, then aim at the light and tap to release the dart. Note that they will begin to look for you, and will probably spot you if you're close to the light. If they don't react to the light breaking, they weren't close enough.
You can receive this achievement on the very first level. Once you get your sword, move up close to the backside of an enemy and hold to have the buttons you need to press to show up (direction on and ) to initiate the stealth kill.
Perform five different types of stealth kills successfully in one level.
You will need to get a few new techniques in order to get this achievement, though you can get this around level 4ish so it's not much of a wait. What you need to do is just get the first 4 techniques (Hangman's Hymn, Emperor's Abyss, Twilight Gate, Bat's Prey) and use each of them, as well as you're regular stealth kill. So, kill someone with a normal stealth kill, kill someone from the opposite side of a door, kill someone while you're hanging under a walkway that they are on, kill someone while you're hanging from your grappling hook and jump down on top of someone while you're hanging from anything. Leap of Faith also counts as a unique kill.
The Undetected honor bonus comes when an enemy moves very close to you when you are concealed in some way, whether you're on a grappling ledge, in a bush, in a trashcan or hanging from the ceiling (among other things), this will trigger. You can get this on any level you want, really, since you can always kill the enemy after they go by you without detecting you.
Kill an enemy and then press to pick up his corpse and carry him to a ledge that has a guard somewhere below it, then tap to toss the body off the ledge. If it lands in front of the guard this achievement should pop.
Simply grab a corpse and walk until you're just outside of a guard's view range and tap to throw the corpse at them. (Thanks CyberEvil for confirming this)
As you progress through the game you'll unlock more distraction items, as well as attack items. Once you have at least one of each assigned to your dpad, focus by pressing then hit and , and and and anywhere on the screen to toss out the three different items (of course you can do this at a time where you actually need all 3 of the items.
(Requires Blood Whisper) You can get this the first time you see an elite in level 8. Lockpick the vent on the floor to get around him and then lockpick the door behind him. Drop down a level to where you came out of the vent and be ready to press to turn on the wires that are hanging above the door. Throw a dart at the light on the ceiling and wait for the big guy to come it. As soon as he steps in front of the wire tap and wait until he falls down, tap again to shut the wires off and then run up to him and hit
Alternatively you can use the upgraded smoke bomb to stun and then kill an elite guard.
For this to work you'll need to get the 'A Brief Shadow' technique, which unlocks in level 6, and then hop in a dumpster until someone walks by. The dumpsters are found in several of the levels and are the largest thing you can hide in, and obviously they look like a dumpster. Once you're inside, wait until the enemy draws near and once the prompt comes up, stab away. Be aware that doing this will kick you out of the dumpster since it is now occupied by a body.
In order to do this, you need to have about 3 guards (one can be a corpse). Terrify one guard, and he will then freak out and start shooting randomly, causing his friend to have to put him down, and give you this achievement (the third guard should be terrified as well).
In Breaching the Perimeter, you will eventually be given the objective "Get inside the Security Tower." Shortly after it is given to you, you will climb up to a rooftop with a bunch of patrolling guards. Once you get far enough, you'll see a guard standing under a breakable light, another guard watching him from the ledge high above him, and a door into the next area behind the first guard.
Do whatever you want with the first guard on the ground, taking care not to alert the guard up on the ledge in any way. Then make your way through the building to the other side where you can climb up to the same ledge the guard is on. Now kill both guards nearest you when you get up there, taking care to leave at least one body up on the ledge with you instead of stringing them up or dropping them off the ledge. Now simply drag this body over next to the guard and throw it next to him. If you hit him, he'll just notice the body and call in an alarm. If you make him just notice the sound, he'll freak out and fall to his death, netting you the "Unstable Footing" achievement.

The first method requires the Hangman's Hymn stealth kill, which can be purchased from level 3 onward. Once you have it unlocked, sit on a grapple point and hold to slide down your grapple hook when you're above and enemy and press to finish them off.
Alternatively, you can wait until you get the Grim Harbinger Technique and simply grab a corpse and use to tie them to any surface you can dangle from. This cuts out the waiting on someone to walk buy your perch so you can Hangman them.
In both cases, once another guard gets close they'll freak out and start shooting the corpse (should note that it needs to be within their view range).
You can easily grind this out on the grapple points leading up the the Transformer part of Breaching the Perimeter.
Use a dead body to lure another guard and then stealth kill them.
Kill an enemy and leave their body in a place where another enemy will see it (move the body with if necessary). Once the 2nd enemy reacts, quickly pop up behind him and stealth kill him. You have a couple of seconds of leeway before he sounds the alarm.
From the level select menu, tap to go to Dosan's Story mission; A Tale From the Past. Completion of this level is required to unlock the items needed for the other DLC achievements, so this will be what you want to do first. The level acts as a pretty good introduction to the new abilities, and tests your ability to efficiently, and stealthily, take out and terrify enemies.
As you may remember, the Elites are the big dudes that don't wear armor that you will run into from time to time during the campaign (there are a ton in level 8). You will need to have the moths equipped in order to do this, and start off by stunning the Elite with them, then you must kill (not KO) him using either a sword kill, or an attack weapon suck as the Toxic Fungus. Throwing his unconscious body off a cliff won't count, he must still have the moths around him (and be upright) when you kill him.
I would imagine this is impossible as Path of Silence (no sword or attack item).
Very early into the DLC mission you will see a floating chat bubble that you can jump and press next to in order to activate a pop up with commentary written by the developers. You will come across quite a few of these, if you happen to miss the first one. Sometimes the button will change to , depending on the location and commentary. You can also throw darts at them.
Knock out an enemy again that was revived from being knocked out.
Using the Path of Wisdom to knock enemies out, make sure the guard you knockout is placed directly in the path of another guard so the second guard revives the unconscious one. Once he's done that, knock out the first guard again. The second guard will sometimes ignore the unconscious guard, which is why placing the body directly in his path is recommended.
In level 8, in the middle of the second large building is a small exterior area with two guards smoking cigarettes while facing each other. Between lightning strikes, take one of them out (I came behind the one on the right, since the door is a pretty safe barrier for this) and hide until the other guy spots him and revives him. These guys seem to help each other consistently, and level 8 is great for most of the other achievements.
Complete one of the original Mark of the Ninja levels using the Path of Wisdom.
After completing the DLC level, you will have the Path of Wisdom Style unlocked for the regular levels. I would recommend loading up a mission with an elite to get the most achievements in one go (level 8 has an elite), just make sure you select the Path of Wisdom prior to starting the game. This will bring you down to basics, making you unable to slow time with focus, unable to use farsight, and unable to use a sword. You'll have to stick with a hand-to-hand takedown, and increased distraction and attack items (use Moths and Fungal Spores for those achievements).
You will can this as you enter the Fortress in the DLC mission. In order to dispatch two enemies at once, you must first kill an enemy by tossing the fungus at him, and then draw two enemies simultaneously toward he corpse (or just throw the corpse at them). As they draw near, the corpse will explode with a poison gas that will kill both enemies. This can only occur once, and will not happen to each successive corpse, so the explosion must kill both enemies at the same time, making this a somewhat tricky achievement.
On mission 8, you will proceed to take out the helicopter or it's pilot, and then the mission will progress so you now go to the left to take out Karajan. As soon as you leave the building and enter a large exterior area where you will see three guards, two on the left and one loner on the right, with two lights above them. As soon as the lightning flashes, shoot/moth the right light and throw fungus at the right guy, then quickly grab his corpse and toss it () at the other two guards.
