Sounds like we're going to be starting off at level 30. Or whatever level your character was in ME2.

Not sure, if they're back to a more "ME1" game, we may have to go all the way from 1 to 60.
Maybe starting at 5 or so with a ME2 save like last time...

It's nice to see that BioWare are providing alternatives for those who want to complete this game, but don't want to play MP.

#4 Couldn't have put it better myself. I have dozens of games sitting halfway done because I tire of MP quickly. When I eventually go back to it, it's either got no server or no people left.
It's nice to have a modern day game where you aren't forced to play countless MP matches if you want a clean score sheet.

I like this, online achievements that can be completed offline. I'll do both, so depending on what level you start as if you import a max level character from ME2 I might get this through either the singleplayer or the multiplayer.

Agreeing with #4 & #5, I'm so so so happy they've chosen to do their achievements like this, more than makes up for the rage I went through after they announced Multiplayer.

#1 & #2 If you import a ME2 character into ME3, your Shepard will be at the level the was at.

If you think about it for more than 10 seconds this is blatantly a very clever way for Bioware to make it so that the multiplayer is entirely optional. If you play it you'll be reward but if you don't you'll still be rewarded. Bravo to Bioware for these innovative achievement ideas!

If you import a max character from ME2, you do start at 30.

all of you who say that starting at level 30 makes sense and is correct, cite your sources

Your level carries over from ME2, so if you capped at 30 you start at 30. From what I know a rushed playthough with a couple of sidequests easily pushes you past 50. Honestly it's a lot faster to get to level 15 in MP if all you care about is the achievement, but then why would you bother getting this game? =P

agreed with #6, sometimes the online ones can be really annoying o at least you have an alternative

I imported a level 60 Sheperd from Mass Effect 2, and I started at level 25 in Mass Effect 3.
