|Use biotic Lift 75 times|
Create an Adept character, as they can use all biotic powers. Go to the Citadel and target a Citadel Rapid Transport station. Use, Lift, Warp, Singularity, Stasis, and Barrier (although you could just run around casting barrier). Then wait for all your powers to recharge and repeat until you get all the achievements. It helps to have adrenaline rush as it resets all your cooldowns, so you can get an extra cast in whenever it is off cooldown.

do you have to have these as YOUR abilities or can these achievements be done using the other members of your parties abilities?

They have to be done by you. Your allies will not count on this.

I found that there was really no reason to farm these. If you plan your playthroughs correctly you can hit them all. Just do a playthrough with each of the "dedicated" classes (soldier, engineer, adept) to get access to the entire skill trees. My second playthrough was with an infiltrator and you don't have access to half the abilities that the engineer does. Same goes for the sentinel and vanguard.
If you want the "do the whole game with such-and-such a squad member" acheivements, you need 3 playthroughs (one with each class, conveneintly). This lines up nicely with having to do 3 difficulties as well.
My first was a soldier. There's more than enough stuff to shoot at to get 150 kills with every weapon. You'll also unlock the ability to apply weapon specializations to subsequ

Hmm - first post - apparently you run out of space. Sorry 'bout that.
subsequent characthers on the same profile. Add an assault rifle specialization to your engineer and adept and they can actually do some respectable damage in a dogfight.
Second playthrough was the infiltrator - writeoff for these achievements. Third was the engineer. Just spam debuffs at everything you find and you'll get all of these. The only "long" one is the hacking. You have to conciously hack any mechanical ne'er do well you see.
Third playthrough was an adept on insane. This is where the AR skill tree is nice to have. Again, just biotic at everything you encounter and you'll get them all no problem. I found the "lift/singularity/push" combo to be particularly amusing as it often results in a glo

gloriously entertaining random maelstrom of smashing bodies and objects that you can shoot at and throw grenades into at your leisure. High explosive grenades are great as they blast everyone out of the mess and then the singularity sucks them right back in. Good times.
There you go. 3 playthroughs, all difficulty, weapon/skill and party member achievements. Just remember not to pick a "hybrid" class if you're after all of them as quickly as possible.

Only problem is that the difficulty achievements are A LOT easier with an imported character from a previous playthrough, as you're still all levelled and such.

Just completed all the Mass Effect achievements five minutes ago and wanted to make a post to help cut down on clean up time if you followed the main guide. After creating an Adept and have got to level 6 you will have enough leveling points to unlock all the abilities needed for the achievements. When it comes to the getting all the Mastery achievements the best bet is to do Singularity and Lift Mastery first since they can both be achieved by casting them on the Transit terminals at the citadel just make sure they are locking on. The other Mastery achievements (Stasis, Barrier, Throw, Warp) can be done by casting them against the Mako. I just did it on the same planet where you find the Asari Ally, but can be done on any planet. I am positive this works, so don’t worry.

These can be achieved by your ally abilities, just as long as you select them yourself. I know this because I got the barrier achievement way before the other ones.

@7/10: Thanks. Glad you found it useful.
@8: You're right. The first part of insanity with a L1 biotic sucked. I also don't think there are enough XP in the game to run up to L60 in one playthrough, so I would up playing the same character on insanity twice. A L60 biotic with an assault rifle is downright lethal. I'd take that over a jacked soldier any day of the week.
@9: I don't think you can do that as it's not an achievement-based ability. Each achievement in this game unlocks something if you look at the menu. There's no cheevo for adrenaline rush, so you can't pick it as a bonus ability.

Going off of PdX Tanto, The 4 mentioned to be used on the Mako are also able to be unlocked at the fight with Fist. Basically as long as you save it before you fight him, you can use the abilities as much as needed (it worked for me this way except for the ai hacking... that was only unlocked by using the abulity once on each turret then loading). Lift and Singularity should be unlocked and used on the Transit stations. So there are plenty of options just not enough time for them.

Wasn't trying to sound smart; just found a way to knock off everything in 3 runs so I thought I'd share. That is what this is, right? A webpage where people share tactics to get achievements?
The insanity run was the third difficulty with the third class with the last 2 allies. Just made sense. Granted I didn't know what I was getting into and there were a few near "controller through TV" moments, but once you level up a bit and adapt to how the game wants you to play, it really isn't that bad. Did the same thing on ME2 with pretty much the same results.

the terminal method still works great, if you're having trouble make sure you're targetting the right spot everytime (red triangle inside the blue circle). barrier doesn't need to be locked on but the rest of the biotics do.

The best way to get all the achievements as quickly as possible and get all the class specific achievements, (with the least amount of downtime) AND get the Long Service Medals is the following:
1st Playthrough: Normal Difficulty. Recommended class: Soldier. Ashley and Kaiden as Allies. Play through the game paying specific attention to the codex achievement and developing a romance. You'll earn the majority of the achievements on your first play through. I earned 30 my first time through. Use all your weapons, focus on having as much shields as you can (For Tactician). And max out your charm/intimidate and paragon/renegade score. This will be your main character you'll carry throughout the series and future playthroughs.

Special Playthroughs: Normal Difficulty. Recommended Class: Adept/Engineer. Choose your bonus ability as Adrenalin Rush (that you earned from your time with Ashley the previous playthrough). Any allies (it doesn't matter). Level up as quickly as possible. Most people recommend level 6 but the higher you can get the better because you can spend more points on skills the decrease the cooldown on your abilities.
Then for the Adept spam the Transfer terminals and Engineer spam the Mako. Using Adrenalin rush to reset your cooldowns and making this even quicker. No joke I got to level 8 with both classes and all the specialist achievements in one night about 3-4 hours watching YouTube the whole time
:-). Once you finish with the adept restart as an engineer and do it again. or Vice Versa

2nd Playthrough: Veteran Difficulty. Use same character as 1st Playthrough. If you have Barrier as a bonus ability I recommend getting it but Adrenalin Rush works well too. Use two allies you haven't used before. Max out Paragon or Renegade that you didn't do the first time and you'll probably get a 50th level character if not a 60th level character by the time your done. This will make your last playthrough much easier. I recommend getting both the Bring Down the Sky DLC as well as Pinnacle Station. I got all of my Ally achievements well before Ilos because I played through both DLCs and they popped I thought pretty early.
3rd Playthrough: Hardcore Difficulty. Recommended class: same as 1st two playthroughs (not your special playthrough). You should be level 60 if not really close. Las

3rd Playthrough: Hardcore Difficulty. Recommended class: same as 1st two playthroughs (not your special playthroughs). You should be level 60 if not really close. Last two allies and BAM! You got a perfect game on one the best series ever released. With only minimal amount of spamming/grinding for achievements. Hope this helps!

I was a little nervous about just reloading saves instead of waiting for the powers to cool down, but it works. Don't need to save beforehand. Target a Citadel Rapid Transit station with all the powers you need, then just reload the save and rinse and repeat until your done. Easy.
