Mass Effect

Mass Effect Achievements

Exceed 1,000,000 Credits

This achievement is much easier than it sounds, as money is very abundant in this game. Go through everything you can find pick up as many items as you can, and sell whatever you're not using. Also, doing side-quests also gives you money, so do as many as you can as well.

When you get this achievement, you gain access to the Spectre weapons, available in the C-Sec surplus store. These are the best weapons in the game, so be sure to buy as many as you can.

How do you make lots of money? I'm still pretty much at the start
(Just saved Liara)

But I'd like to know if there's a way to make Credits early in the game?

Not really Just play through the game and you will get it eventually
I hit max credits at the end of my second playthrough and thats 9999999
credits so 1000000 should be simple.

It's worth noting that you get more money from essentially everything, the more money you actually have. Not sure how it scales, but for example, if you sold something for 600 credits, you might be able to sell it for 6000 credits if you have more money.

Honestly, I hit 1 million around level 30 on my first play through, just sell everything through Dr. Michel after completing her mission (she gives extra per sale).

To those people who got over 1M and it didn't pop, just sell an item in a store. (There is one on the lower level of the Normandy)

On my first playthrough, I was so worried I wasn't going to have any money to buy anything from the vendors on the Citadel but once I started doing Assignments (know that these are basically side missions) I got a crap load of money for just helping people and choosing the Paragon dialogue options. You'll get this cheevo in no time. :)

yes, I'm just starting the game for the first time. i know, i know, what was i thinking?

is this holding 1 mil credits at once? or is this collecting 1 mill credits (but spending along the way)?

It is 1 million at once.

Reduce everything to Omni-Gel until you hit the fifth rank, V, for items. Then you are stocked on gel and the items you sell are all worth 10k or more. Do a couple missions and blam, one million.

i hit 9999999 by selling massive amount of lvl 8 or above items that where duplicates. the easy way to get this is invest in charm or Renegade version. and do the same with both electronics and hacking(code unlocks for safe etc)
