Introduction:
Welcome to Mercury Hg! It's an awesome puzzle game where you control a blob of mercury through many levels, completing different goals. It's kind of similar to Marble Blast Ultra, but has its own special nuances that set it apart. You'll have three different modes to beat, all with multiple levels, and I'll talk about them throughout the roadmap. There is also DLC that adds an extra 100 , so you will probably want to buy that for the full completion. You will have to do multiple runs of all of the levels. Getting 300 (including DLC achievements) means completing the entire game to 100% (Steps 1 through 4) and completing the DLC levels in Discovery Mode while collecting bonus pickups in certain levels (See step 5 for info on the DLC).

Step 1: Discovery Mode
The first thing you should do is entirely complete the Discovery Mode. Beat all 60 levels and be awarded all four atoms for each level. By doing this, you will unlock Targetenium, Bielementium, Trielementium, Quadelementium, Pentelementium, Bonusium, Dicoverium, and Awesomium. Completing Discovery Mode to 100% won't be too bad, it'll take about 3 or 4 hours of your time.

Step 2: Miscellaneous Achievements
Complete the two miscellaneous achievements: Spookium and Musicium. Refer to these two achievements in the guide. They are very easy, and it will take about 5 minutes total to achieve them.

Step 3: Bonus Levels
Go through the Bonus Levels of the game. You should do this after completing Discovery Mode to 100%, so that all the Bonus Levels are already unlocked. If you have been following the roadmap, all of the levels should already be unlocked anyways. Refer to Bolevium for tips. This should take 1 or 2 hours, it's not very difficult.

Step 4: Challenge Mode
By now, you will have one last achievement, Challengium. This is where it gets hard. You need to complete a group of levels under time constraints, with most, if not all, of your mercury left, and while collecting many bonus pickups. There are two to three stages for each challenge, and they get progressively more difficult. Some of the challenges won't be too difficult, you'll complete them in a couple of tries. But others, you'll be stuck on for a couple hours until you finally complete it, if you haven't broken your TV yet from sheer frustration. This can take anywhere from 4 to many hours because the time it takes is very skill dependent. Refer to Challengium for tips.

Step 5: DLC Achievements
After completing Challenge Mode, you should feel great about yourself. Now, it is time to buy those 2 DLC packs and get the 300 ! Each DLC pack has 3 achievements for 50 total each. The DLC achievements basically require you to complete all of the DLC levels while collecting all of the bonus pickups for certain levels. So, go to Discovery Mode, complete all the levels in the Heavy Elements pack (while collecting all of the bonus pickups in the levels listed under the Heavybonusium achievement in the guide), move on to the Rare Earth Elements pack, complete all of the levels in Discovery Mode (while collecting all of the bonus pickups in the levels listed under the Rarebonusium achievement in the guide), and then you should have the extra 100 from the DLC packs. By doing this, you will unlock the HeavybonusiumGravichallengium, Gravisium, Rarusium, Rarebonusium, and Raretaskium achievements. Nice!

Conclusion:
The challenge mode is really what makes this a difficult 300. The rest is a breeze in comparison. This is a hard 300, but an easy 270. Refer to the guide for tips, and good luck to you!

Discoverium30
Complete all the levels in Discovery Mode.

There are 60 levels in the Discovery Mode section of the game, and this achievement will come with the completion of all 60 of them. It doesn't matter how many atoms you get per a level, just that you unlock and beat all 60 of them.

Challengium30
Complete all of the Challenges. (3)

There are 10 challenges in the Challenge Mode part of the game, and they range from easy enough to nearly impossible in difficulty. You unlock each challenge throughout your completion of Discovery Mode, so I suggest completing Discovery Mode first in order to have them all unlocked from the beginning. Each challenge has 2 or 3 levels that increase in difficulty (i.e. the targets of the challenge get stricter), and you must complete each level of each challenge for this achievement. The targets for each challenge include: beat all of the levels in a certain amount of time, with at least a certain percentage of mercury, and while collecting a certain amount of bonus pickups.

All I can say is, practice, practice, practice, and have patience! This will eventually come to you. If you find yourself repeatedly failing a level, then don't put yourself through beating the levels before it over and over again, just to fail yet again on that level. Instead, find the level on Discovery Mode, and practice on that, using the same targets that the challenge has. This is a hard one, good luck.

If you're having trouble with any specific challenge, check out this guide.

Bolevium30
Complete all of the Bonus Levels.

There are 20 Bonus Levels in the game, which are unlocked once you beat the level in Discovery Mode that matches the Bonus Level (e.g. you can play the level Antimanganese when you beat the level Manganese in Discovery Mode).

For the Bonus Levels, you need to collect vials of mercury in order to increase your mercury blob's size to 100%. If you lose any mercury, you fail the level and have to retry. The amount of time that it takes you to complete each level doesn't matter, so you can take your time. Just concentrate on getting those mercury vials without losing any mercury off the edge. Also, since the time doesn't matter, you can press that as much as you want, so that the mercury blob stays together. Doing that saved me from a lot of reruns. Also, think about the order in which you get the vials, some will be easier with a smaller blob of mercury.

Refer to Bonusium for when each level unlocks.

Targetenium10
Complete all 4 targets in any Discovery Mode level. (1)

You should get this achievement after your first level after the tutorial levels. For each level, there are 4 targets. There is one for 100% mercury, for getting under a certain time, for getting all of the bonuses in the level, and for just completing the level.  It should be the first achievement you get.

Bonusium20
Discover all 20 of the Bonus Levels.

Whenever you complete certain levels in Discovery Mode, sometimes there is a notification that you unlocked a bonus level. These unlock after you collect all of the bonus pickups in 20 certain levels (I'll list them). The Xenon level is the last level that you need to unlock for this achievement. The Xenon level is also the last level of Discovery Mode, so you HAVE to complete all 60 levels in order to unlock this achievement. This means that you can get this at the same time that you get Discoverium. You will definitely get this while going for Awesomium.

The levels where you must get all the bonus pickups are: Rubidium, Eiconium, Strontium, Chromium, Manganese, Zirconium, Technetium, Gallium, Zinc, Rhodium, Indium, Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorus, Tellurium, Helium, Bromine, Argon, and Xenon.

Spookium20
Download and play against an online ghost replay. (5)

To download a ghost, you need to head to Discovery Mode. Choose a level, press to go to the leaderboards, then press twice in order to see the top scores. Once you are looking at the top scores, press to race the person who is rank 1 on that level for either score or time, it doesn't matter which. Then the level will start, and you just need to complete it as the ghost blob completes it. You don't have to beat the ghost blob, just complete the level. The achievement will unlock upon completion.

Musicium10
Play one of your own music tracks while playing the game. (1)

In order to play your own music, you need your Xbox 360 to have music on it, to be connected to your computer, have an MP3 player connected to the USB drive, or have a USB thumbdrive connected to the USB drive. Press the Xbox guide button, press , go down to select music, your hard drive will show, as well as the other device you have hooked up to your xbox (if you hooked up another one). Now, choose a song on the device that you are using, and it will start to play. Then, start and finish a level in any mode (a level in Discovery Mode would be quickest), and the achievement will unlock at the end of the level. There is a tutorial level that goes through how to do this, so you can follow those directions as well.

Here is a guide from Xbox Support that also explains how to burn a CD to your Xbox 360, if you don't have an MP3 Player or a USB drive.

Bielementium10
Discover the second group of elements.

Refer to Pentelementium.

Trielementium10
Discover the third group of elements.

Refer to Pentelementium.

Quadelementium10
Discover the fourth group of elements.

Refer to Pentelementium.

Pentelementium10
Discover the fifth group of elements. (1)

These four achievements will unlock after you have been awarded a certain number of atoms in Discovery Mode (the targets for each level). Refer to Awesomium for an explanation of what atoms are in this game.

Bielementium - 25 atoms
Trielementium - 50 atoms
Quadelementium - 75 atoms
Pentelementium - 100 atoms

They are not very difficult achievements and will be unlocked while you are going for Discoverium and Awesomium.

Awesomium10
Be awarded all 240 original Atoms in Discovery Mode from groups 1 to 5.

Each level has 4 atoms that are the targets for what you need to achieve in each level. There is one for getting under a certain time, finishing with all of your mercury, collecting all of the bonuses, and for just completing the level.

You need to get all four atoms for all 60 levels in the game, which is 240 atoms of course. I suggest going through all of the levels in one go, getting as many atoms as you can, and going back to the levels that you didn't get all four on after finishing all 60 levels. You do not need to get all of these atoms in one go on the level. You can retry the level four times, getting each atom each time, and they will each count for getting an atom. It's not nearly as hard as it seems. You can only get this achievement once you have unlocked every level. If you're having trouble with any level, you just need to persevere. Practice makes perfect!

DLC: Heavy Elements Pack
Cost: $2.99 USD Achievements: 3 Points: 50

Gravisium30
Complete all the Discovery Mode levels in the Heavy Elements content pack.

There are 30 new levels in the Heavy Elements content pack. This achievement is just like the Discoverium in the main game. Go to Discovery Mode, and you will see that the Heavy Elements levels can be played now (after purchasing the DLC, of course). All you need to do is complete every level. You do not need to finish with 100% mercury, with all the bonuses, or within the par time. Just finish all 30 levels.

I recommend that you look at the Heavybonusium achievement for the list of levels that you need to collect all of the bonus pickups in (to unlock all 10 Bonus Levels). This way, you won't have to replay those 10 levels because you will already know to get all of the bonus pickups.

Heavybonusium10
Discover all 10 of the Bonus Levels in the Heavy Elements content pack.

In order to unlock this achievement, you need to collect all of the bonus pickups in 10 certain levels in the Heavy Elements content pack. I recommend that you go for this achievement at the same time as Gravisium. You do not need to complete a single Bonus Level for this achievement.

The levels that you need to collect all of the bonus pickups on are: Hafnium, Osmium, Hassium, Platinum, Thallium, Meitnerium, Copernicium, Lead, Astatine, and Ununpentium. These levels are in the order of levels that the game gives you if you choose "Next Level" after the completion of each level.

Gravichallengium10
Discover all 5 of the Challenges in the Heavy Elements content pack.

For this achievement, you just need to complete this DLC in Discovery Mode through the Ununseptium level. You do not need to do the challenges, you only need to discover them.

There are no requirements to unlock each challenge except that you need to complete each level that is in that challenge. There are 5 challenges. You will get this achievement once you have unlocked the last one, which is called "Magnetronium²," after completion of the Ununseptium level (the second to last level in this DLC).

DLC: Rare Earth Elements Pack
Cost: $2.99 USD Achievements: 3 Points: 50

Rarusium30
Complete all the Discovery Mode levels in the Rare Earth Elements content pack.

There are 30 new levels in the Rare Earth Elements content pack. This achievement is just like the Discoverium in the main game. Go to Discovery Mode, and you will see that the Rare Earth Elements levels can be played now (after purchasing the DLC of course). All you need to do is complete every level. You do not need to finish with 100% mercury, with all the bonuses, or within the par time. Just finish all 30 levels.

I recommend that you look at the Rarebonusium achievement for the list of levels that you need to collect all of the bonus pickups in (to unlock all 10 Bonus Levels). This way, you won't have to replay those 10 levels because you will already know to get all of the bonus pickups.

Rarebonusium10
Discover all 10 of the Bonus Levels in the Rare Earth Elements content pack.

In order to unlock this achievement, you need to collect all of the bonus pickups in 10 certain levels in the Rare Earth Elements content pack. I recommend that you go for this achievement at the same time as Rarusium. You do not need to complete a single Bonus Level for this achievement.

The levels that you need to collect all of the bonus pickups on are: Neodymium, Thorium, Neptunium, Gadolinium, Terbium, Curium, Californium, Holmium, Lutetium, and Lawrencium. These levels are in the order of levels that the game gives you if you choose "Next Level" after the completion of each level.

Raretaskium10
Discover all 5 of the Challenges in the Rare Earth Element content pack.

For this achievement, you just need to complete this DLC in Discovery Mode through the Lawrencium level. This level is the last level of the Discovery Mode for this DLC, so you essentially just need to complete all of the levels of this DLC. You do not need to do the challenges, you only need to discover them.

There are no requirements to unlock each challenge except that you need to complete each level that is in that challenge. There are 5 challenges. You will get this achievement once you have unlocked the last one, which is called "Conveyorium²," after completion of the Lawrencium level (the second to last level in this DLC).
