NCAA Basketball 10 Achievement Guide
Guide By: Park Diesel
There are 20 achievements with a total of 1000 points.

Show-Off70
Make 20 straight baskets in Campus Hoops. Dunks don't count! (1)
When you first load up the game, you will find yourself at a basketball court outdoors. You need to make 20 straight shots, but dunks do not count. The easiest way to do this is lay-ups. Run towards the basket using and press when near the basket. You can not use turbo, , at all. Lay-ups are not guaranteed to go in, but have a higher chance than a jump shot. If you accidentally go into the menus, just press and your streak is still active.

As the lead profile, sign a McDonald's® All-American recruit in Dynasty Mode™
You need to sign a prized recruit in Dynasty Mode. If you are playing alone, you are the lead profile. If 2 people are playing, locally, the lead profile is the controller who started Dynasty Mode. When you go into recruiting, there are several icons for the highlighted recruit in the upper right corner of the screen. The first one of these is the McDonald's emblem. You need to sign one of these players with the McDonald's emblem lit up to your school. I used Kentucky and signed my first McDonald's All-American during the first off-season. Only go after recruits that are already interested in your school. As long as you are using one of the premier schools (Kentucky, Kansas, Syracuse, Duke, Villanova, West Virginia, Georgetown, or any other ranked team) you should have no trouble signing one.
The achievement will unlock during the off-season, when you actually sign the player. Until then, it is just a verbal commitment.
McDonald's® All-American Game50
Play and win the McDonald's® All-American game at All-Conference or higher.
The McDonald's All-American game occurs during every off-season in Dynasty Mode. It is after Players Leaving and before Off-Season Recruiting. Simply select to play the game, by choosing that day on the calender, and win. Make sure difficulty is set to All-Conference or higher. You can be either team. See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion for an easy way to get the win.
MAUI Invitational Champion25
Play & win the last game of the MAUI Invitational game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion.
Old Spice Classic Champion25
Play & win the last game of the Old Spice Classic game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion.
Anaheim Classic Champion25
Play & win the last game of the Anaheim Classic game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion.
Puerto Rico Tip-Off Champion25
Play & win the last game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion.
NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion25
Play & win the last game of the NIT® Season Tip-Off game mode, All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
To play any of the Tournaments, go to Game Modes, Tournaments, Pre-Season Tournaments. There are 5 tournaments, each with their own achievement. The last game of the tournament is the only one that counts for the achievements. Make sure you play at All-Conference or higher and win the last game.

Easy Way- Start any tournament and select to control every team. Now simulate to the final game. Choose either team to play as. Play at All-Conference or higher still, but change the time to 2 minute halves. Turn off Shot Clock under Rules. Also go to sliders, and increase User Long Range Shot to 100. Now just hold the ball for the entire half, shooting only from 3-point range when trailing or as time runs out. It is not 100% that you will win, but takes considerable less time to play again if you mess up. You can also use this method to get Upset City and Buzzer Beater. Buzzer Beater can be unlocked in one of these tournaments as well as Play Now games. Just make sure you are trailing, or tied, at the end of the second half to acquire Buzzer Beater. Hit the game winning shot with less than 2 seconds remaining.
Move Over, Duke!50
Win 30 games or more in three consecutive years in Dynasty Mode™.
While going for the Hardcore achievement, you need to win 30 or more games 3 seasons in a row. You should turn Autosave off in case you need to replay a game. If you plan on playing every game, just make sure you win 30 times each year (Conference Tournament, NCAA Tournament, & NIT Tournament wins all count). If you plan on simulating, I recommend that you save before every game. If you are using a premier school, it should not take more than three sim attempts to get the win. The achievement unlocks once you start the next off-season after your third straight year of 30 or more wins.
My Stats10
View your career stats from the My NCAA® Online menu.
Very simple achievement. Bring up the menu and go to XBOX LIVE, MY NCAA® ONLINE, VIEW PLAYER HUB. Then hold down and move up to CAREER STATS. Achievement unlocked.
Perfect at Home75
Win all of your team's home games in one season of Dynasty Mode™.
Also while going for Hardcore, you need to win every home game during a single season. Home games are identified by a blue color in the upper right corner of the game on the calender. You will be on the right on the team select screen if you are the home team as well. You should turn Autosave off in case you need to replay a game. Again, if playing every game, make sure you win. If you are simulating, save before every home game and repeat the game if you lose. The achievement unlocks once you start the off-season after winning every home game.
Hardcore125
Complete a 30-year dynasty in Dynasty Mode™. (3)
You must complete a 30 year dynasty. Make sure you change this setting when you start the dynasty. The default setting is for 15 years. You must change it to the max which is 30 years. If playing every game, you are in for a really long process. If simulating, you are still in for a long process.

Simulating an entire season is a 4 part process. 1- the Regular Season. Go to the last day on the calender and sim to it. 2- the Conference Tournament. Go to the last available day and sim to it. 3- the NCAA or NIT Tournament. Go to the last day on the calender and sim to it. 4- the Off-Season. Again, go to the last available day and sim to it to start the next season and this process all over again.
*Note* If you are still going for any other Dynasty achievements, it is recommended that you recruit during the off-season. Doing so will make victories much easier to come by.
Who's Behind the Door?10
View the game Credits from the EA Sports™ Extras menu.
Another very simple achievement. From the menu, go to MY NCAA®, EA SPORTS EXTRAS, then CREDITS. Achievement unlocked.
Buzzer Beater75
Play and win a game on a "buzzer beater" in Play Now at All-Conference Difficulty or higher. (1)
You must win either a Play Now or a Pre-Season Tournament game, at All-Conference difficulty or higher, by making a shot to take the lead with less than 2 seconds remaining. See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion for an easy way to achieve this.
Lethal Weapon Three50
Finish a game where 3 of your players get 20 points at All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
You must finish a game in any mode where three of your players have 20 or more points. Difficulty must be set to All-Conference or higher. You do not have to win. If you use a premier team, you will have plenty of threats to score. A good time to go for this is when you do 40-Minute All-American as you will have two 20 minute halves to accomplish it.
40-Minute All-American25
Win a game in Play Now mode with Skill Level set to All-American and Half Length set to 20 minutes. (2)
You must win a Play Now game set to the highest difficulty, All-American. Make sure you change the half times to 20 minutes. This may be challenging depending on your skill level. Just use a premier team against a poorly rated team and you should be able to pull out the win.
Upset City10
Beat an A rank team with a C or lower rank team in Play Now at All-Conference Difficulty or higher.
You must win a game in Play Now, at All-Conference difficulty or higher, against a much better team. Select any team to play against with a overall rating of "A". You must use a team with an overall rating of "C" or lower. You basically have to beat a big school with a little school.

See NIT® Season Tip-Off Champion for an easy way to achieve this.
I Can Win With Anyone!75
Win five Xbox LIVE ranked matches with five different teams. DNF wins don't count.
On your way to getting Xbox LIVE Gym Rat, you will need to win 5 Xbox LIVE ranked matches with 5 different teams. If the other player quits at any time, you will receive a pop-up message saying connection has been lost. You will receive a win when they quit, but it does not count towards this achievement.
Some teams you can try to win with are: Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, Syracuse, Villanova, West Virginia, Georgetown, or any team you feel confident with.
Xbox LIVE Gym Rat150
Play in 75 Xbox LIVE ranked matches.
You must play 75 ranked Xbox LIVE games. You do not have to win, and you do not have to finish the game. If you plan on quitting, wait until two minutes and 30 seconds have gone off the game clock, this assures you get credit for playing the game. The achievement will unlock when you start your 75 game.
Spoiler25
Win an Xbox LIVE ranked match against an opponent 5 ranks or higher than you. DNF wins don't count. (1)
You must beat another player who is at least 5 ranks above you in a ranked Xbox LIVE game. If your opponent quits at any time, you will receive a pop-up message saying connection was lost, and it does not count for this achievement. Everyone starts ranked at 10,000, but on the Career Stats screen, it will show you as unranked. Being ranked 10,000 and beating someone does not count, you must first move up the ranks and then win against someone higher than you. You can visit the lobbies to try to find someone to do this with. If you just play Quick Matches, you cannot see your opponent's rank before the game. This can be difficult without help, as many people quit in the final minutes if you are beating them.
