Guide By: YouStayClassy
There are 37 achievements with a total of 1000 points.
With this Road Map, Night At The Museum: Battle Of The Smithsonian is one of the shortest games on the Xbox 360 to earn the full 1000 in and should take you no more than three hours, easily closer to two. When I say there are lots of missable achievements, this is just due to the fact that there are so many collectibles to find a missing one can hold back several achievements. Fortunately you can do a level select to find any ones you may have missed in your initial playthrough and any achievements due to you will unlock.
When you begin a level it will always lay out an objective for you, but before you do these I recommend searching the level for as many collectibles as you can find. You want to get as many of these out of the way as possible before doing story mode missions. This should be your strategy on every level, because doing certain story mode quests will make it unable to go back to certain areas unless you quit out and do level select.
Collectibles in this game are almost always out in the the open or easily seen behind a few crates. Almost none of them require the in-depth searching usually seen in such games.
One playthrough of this game should net you the full thousand as long as you find every collectible on each level. Your achievements at the end of each level should look like this:
Notes: *If you do happen to die during any mission, you will not lose any collectibles you obtained before hitting a checkpoint
x360a would like to thank YouStayClassy for this Road Map

|Save the World|
This will unlock after you defeat Kahmunrah and win the game. Kahmunrah is a four stage boss battle where you have to destroy the three obelisks that give him his powers.
Stage 1 - Run around to the front of the first obelisk and press to use your keychain to activate the obelisk. Then run around to the back where you're safe from Kahmunrah's projectile attacks. This obelisk is made up of three sections, each one spins and has a different graphic on each side. Select your Gear Power, point it at each section and turn them until all the graphics line up. Once they do you will get a cut scene and this obelisk will be deactivated.
Stage 2 - Run around to the front of the second obelisk and press to use your keychain to activate the obelisk. Then run around to the back where you're safe from Kahmunrah's projectile attacks. This obelisk has a picture on each side portraying a seed in various stages of growth. Select your Paintbrush Power and blast the pictures in order of Seed, Sprouting, Growing, and Flower. You will have to face all sides, so be sure to time it so Kahmunrah isn't shooting at you. If you do get hit, there's a Health Scarab nearby. Select your Animal Power and blast the beetles until they rotate all the way around to face the gem of their colour. For instance, one side has a red beetle while the next side has a red gem. You want the beetle's head to be facing the gem. Due to Kahmunrah shooting at you, you will only be able to do one rotation per projectile, then hide behind the obelisk. Repeat this on all beetles until you get the cut scene and this obelisk will be deactivated.

|Complete Lunar Lander sequence with at least Two Bars of Health Remaining|
On your second trip to the National Air and Space Museum you will start in front of a broke Lunar Lander. Use your Gear Power on it to repair it and then press to board it. A total of 24 French soldiers will come out and fire cannons at you, what you have to do is avoid the blasts, hover over the soldiers, and press to kill them with the lunar blast.
There are a total of four cannons, two on the ground and two on the upper walkway. There are two soldiers at a time by the cannon, when you kill them two more will spawn after a few moments. Each cannon will spawn a total of six soldiers, so after you get six kills at a cannon move on to the next one.
The best strategy is to start with a ground cannon, hovering above and right behind it and just waiting for the soldiers to spawn. Make sure you angle yourself so the other ground cannon cannot hit you.
After both ground cannons are done, repeat this strategy with the upper two ones. Once all 24 soldiers are dead, return to where the Lunar Lander launched. You will see Napoleon standing there, press B to land on him and unlock the achievement as long as you still have two green bars of health remaining and didn't get hit more than a couple of times
NOTE: This achievement can be somewhat glitchy if you get hit even once. It's highly recommended to not get hit at all to make sure the achievement will pop. If you do get hit a couple of times or less and it doesn't unlock simply quit out and restart the level to try again.
