Introduction:
PowerUp Forever is a shoot'em up arcade game for the Xbox 360. I would have to say that it is a mix between Geometry Wars and Feeding Frenzy. The gameplay is like Geometry Wars in which you use the left stick to move, right stick to shoot, and right trigger to detonate a bomb. It is like Feeding Frenzy because as you progress through the game, your ship gets bigger and you can kill bigger enemies. This game is enjoyable and should take less than 24 hours of gameplay time to achieve the full 200 if you follow the road map.

Step 1: Arcade Mode
Start up a game of arcade mode on Easy (you can play on Normal or Hard if you are more experienced at these type of games). Fly around shooting the parasites off of dormant enemies (they are gray and don't move) until the meter at the bottom center of the screen is full. You will be notified of a Guardian approaching. The best strategy that I found to kill guardians was to bomb them, then use your laser (NOTE: you do not get the laser upgrade until later on in the game). If you run out of laser, then just use the normal "bullets." Always move in a circular motion, and use your shield with . Once you kill the first Guardian, you will get the achievement "Guardian Killer." Keep playing and after you kill 9 more Guardians, you will get the achievement "Guardian Hero." Now you want to go for the points achievements: "The Big Easy," "Happy Medium," and "Well Hard." Along the way you can obtain "The Bouncer" (just hold left trigger and deflect bullets once you get that upgrade) and "Bully" (as you progress through the game you will spot really small enemies, so just fly over them to squash them until you get the achievement).

Step 2: Overkill Mode
Overkill mode unlocks when you have survived 20 rounds in arcade mode, which if you get the well hard achievement, you should be well over 20 rounds. In Overkill mode you have unlimited weapon power and bombs, so don't be afraid to use them. The first achievement you should go for would be "Hunter Killer." All you have to do is just fly around, but don't kill any parasites. After awhile, enemies will appear that look like throwing stars. They are fast and will shoot at you. Just kill 20 right now and the achievement will be yours. Keep playing and try to beat the levels as fast as you can to try and get the "XXXXX" achievement. All you have to do is trigger the Guardian and kill him before your multiplier runs out. Continue on and when you get up high enough there will start to be a lot of enemies. Try to get them to follow you, then use a bomb and hope to kill at least 50 of them. If you don't then try again, but eventually you will get the achievement "Smarter Than The Average Bomb." Now, just keep playing overkill mode until you get the achievements "Avant-Guardian" and "Grand Master" (NOTE: you do not have to kill 1,000 Guardians in order to get the achievement). These achievements will take a lot of grinding to obtain them, but you have to do it if you want that 200/200.

Conclusion:
PowerUp Forever is a decent game with easy achievements that just take awhile to get. Some enemies rarely show up in the game, so it might take awhile to kill 1,000 of them. Just listen to some music or party chat with friends to help the time go buy. You can check how many enemies you have killed by going to Start --> Help & Options --> Game Statistics.

The Big Easy15
Score 1,000,000 points in Arcade Mode
See "Well Hard"
Happy Medium15
Score 5,000,000 points in Arcade Mode
See "Well Hard"
Well Hard15
Score 10,000,000 points in Arcade Mode
Difficulty is not important. Doing this on Easy will take more time, but it is far more manageable. Not super quick, but much easier.
Guardian Killer15
Defeat your first Guardian
See "Guardian Hero"
Guardian Hero15
Defeat 10 Guardians in a game

Kill parasites until the rage meter on the bottom of the screen fills up and triggers the Guardian. Circle-strafing does make it more simple. If you still have problems, a smart bomb will lower a lot of the health.

Ten in one game is not terribly difficult and should be done on Easy just for the sake of simplicity.

Avant-Guardian15
Defeat 250 Guardians in total
This is a significant grinding Achievement. The best way to do this is to:

1) Kill 20 Guardians in a single game on Easy. It unlocks Overkill mode, which allows you to play with all weaponry and unlimited smart bombs. Overkill makes all of the killing Achievements easier.

2) Play Overkill for however long it takes to pull it off. Took me about 2 hours. Pursuing this will also help you in working towards Grand Master.
XXXXX15
Raise the score multiplier to 5x
This is the only Achievement you cannot do in Easy. Medium's first few levels aren't all that difficult, so it shouldn't be a major problem.
The Bouncer15
Bounce 100 enemy bullets with an upgraded shield in one game
The easiest way to handle this is with the Guardian battles. After you get the shield upgrade, on your next few Guardian battles, simply reflect the mass of bullets they will normally unload on you before putting up their own shields. Of course, if they use the laser or the arc, avoid it --- but most will fire tons of bullets at you and it's fairly easy to reflect them. Just face where the boss is.
Hunter Killer15
Destroy 20 Hunters in one game
A Hunter will come to attack you if you do not trigger a Guardian encounter within a time limit. By and large, it usually is after your point multiplier lowers. It's a quick little star-shaped enemy that will go after you. This, like most of the Achievements involving killing a set number of enemies, is easier to handle in Overkill mode. Much easier to kill Hunters with unlimited smart bombs.
Bully15
Squash 111 harmless enemies with your ship during one level
After several Guardian encounters, you'll notice tiny little specks on the screen. If you hit one and your score goes up, you're hitting a harmless enemy. Just fly around and squash them. They look like specks of dust, but you do need go through several encounters before you will first encounter this.
Smarter Than The Average Bomb25
Destroy 50 enemies with one smart bomb
Also highly recommended to use Overkill mode. It will take, roughly, 20 encounters before killing 50 with one bomb becomes fairly easy. It can be done earlier, but it gets progressively easier the later you go and Overkill makes it much easier.
Grand Master25
Destroy at least 1000 of each enemy type
No trick for this one. Overkill is your friend. You must kill all enemies 1,000 times --- including Guardians and Hunters, so this is going to be a long grind. Overkill allows you to fight an unlimited number of enemies with unlimited smart bombs, so if you can sacrifice the hours needed to pull off, do it.
