|Complete Story Mode on hard difficulty.|
To unlock the hard difficulty, you must first complete the game on medium difficulty. There are a total of 31 main story missions in the game, so you must complete them all on the hardest difficulty. This will NOT be easy. Hard mode is very tough, I recommend that you remain hidden through as many missions as possible. If spotted, flee and disguise, avoid conflicts with stronger enemies like Super Soldiers and Leader Hunters whenever possible. If you follow the road map, you should be able to die and resume at a checkpoint when you do your hard playthrough.

In order to start the game on hard you need to complete it on easy and normal fist. There are a total of 31 main story missions in the game, so you must complete them all on the hardest difficulty. There are many ways to complete it on hard depending on your playstyle but here are a few tips:
- Stay disguised whenever possible. If spotted, flee and disguise, avoid conflicts with stronger enemies like Super Soldiers and Leader Hunters.
- If you have to fight, keep distance from Hunters and Super Soldiers. Acquire and update WHIPFIST to deal with enemies from a safe distance.
- Keep moving. You are easier to hit when you are still, therefore it is essential to upgrade your movement abilities to the maximum level.
- Use military weapons. If you deal with infected, using your powers will

compromise your disguise. Use missile and grenade launchers instead.
- If you see a tank, board it. Armored vehicles will preserve your health while you are in them and the firepower comes handy too.
- When you have to destroy tanks, board them while disguised. It’s silent and fast. If your disguise is compromised, just use the boarded vehicle to destroy the rest of your enemies.
- Before you begin a story mission make sure you have a valid MILITARY disguise and that your health bar is full.
- Acquire all necessary upgrades ASAP, but only buy those you need because …
- … EP is hard to get. You can complete events but kill and war events can be very annoying on hard. I recommend GLIDE and MOVEMENT events if you are good at parkour. Also complete as many infected and military CONSUME ev

events as possible, they give a lot of EP. Base infiltration also helps early in the game while they are not heavily guarded: go in, stealth consume targets and then eliminate everyone else to get the max EP. Once you have access to Helicopter kill events, grab a heli, fly around the city and destroy hives from a distance to get tons of EP. Also try to collect every orb you see for EP.

Are you sure one needs to complete the game on medium AND easy before the hard difficulty is unlocked? I guess completing it on medium is enough.

My only suggestion is go on youtube and get an idea what they did (this will not help too much, but it is possible you could have more luck than I did). What I did is took my time to make sure I had max health before I got him below half his health (this is when everyone leaves and the timer starts) not sure exactly what his health is at. You have as much time as you want before this so you can consume military to get full health since they keep arriving (pick up a military on the run and consume them on the stairs that are on the sides of the ship so you don't get hit when you stop to consume). Then I would use the devastator that shoots a strait shot at an enemy from your hands (one massive tendril thing). If you have all upgrades which you should because you beat the g

game on medium and almost on hard then you have the possibility of using like two or three devastators while in max health (make sure you do not get hit because you will loose your devastators (he hits hard), which then makes it impossible to beat him in the time limit). After using the devastators, attack him with the sword power or muscle mass power (both do major damage with little loss of movement) and try to dodge his attacks. You do want to get hit because you want to be able to use another devastator when you are almost dead, but it is nice to get his health down a little. Use that same devastator on him when you can. After that just run away till your health regenerates then attack him so you can get hit as to use the devastator again. In my opinion this is a luck battle because al

almost everything has to be going in your favor. Have to have max health to use multiple devastators and you have to pray after you get done using a devastator when almost dead that he does not hit you. When I beat this I think I had around 15-20 seconds left. That is not much, but I spent a lot of time on this battle and no video on youtube was all that helpful. This is how I did it, but of course there is usually always someone who has a more efficient way.
***Just a word of advice. Throwing objects may seem like the best idea, but you can never get his health down fast enough when the timer starts***
Good Luck, this is the hardest thing to do in this game hands down. Unless you are a god at this game you will put at LEAST 2-3 hours into this one battle.
Sorry about the lack of speci

Sorry about the lack of specifics, but I beat this guy a couple months ago and haven't really tried to face him again.
Please message me on live you have any questions. "mattycakes05"

Actually, throwing objects is purely what I did, helicopters, missiles etc. And for the harriers nearby, destroy them early so you can use them. Be sure to use musclmass as well. It worked for me, at least.

Ok, so i just started playing again, and i am at the mission where the bloodtox device is delivered, and you have to protect it until greene shows herself. i am having a hard time defeating all of the hunters and the leaders (when they show up) without blowing my military disguise. The infected enemies attack me too quickly for me to find/pick up any guns, and i only found 1 rocket launcher. Should i just switch to some power and risk the military attacking me as well?

Remember the tips given to you, always run, jump, dodge and attack from range but also try and keep their attention on you and not on the bloodtox machine.

Holy S*** just beat final boss on hard took about 15-18 tries if you guys are having trouble here are my suggestions
Blade and armor
stay close but not to close the military missiles hurt a lot
keep the pressure on and stun him
dodge his attacks
don't bother consuming military stay very low on health for the free devastator thats how i kept stunning him after his first stumble
when he uses ground spike or tendril devastator jump high and air slice with the blade
hope this helps guys I'm off to kill 10k infected

Definitely one of the hardest achievements I've done, and not really the story mode just the last boss on hard was ridiculous because he had way too much health, much more than what the time limit allows and if you screw up its back to the start. Got 40/40 though :D

I thought the last boss was going to be impossible, but surprisingly i beat him on hard on the first try. For the first part I left the Military do alot of the work, and I just consumed and occasionally used the Critical Pain devastator. When it seemed close to the starting of the time limit. I got full health and just dodged him. Then when the 3 minute timer started I spammed Critical Pain until i couldnt anymore then I put on Musclemass and threw helicopters at him until he was dead with more than a minute left.

Having the same problem as #13, why is the freaking bloodtox truck made out of paper mache?!
One of the most irritating achievements I've had the misfortune of coming across (yes hard mode is supposed to be hard, but not to the point of artery bursting rage IMHO). If I could just get past 'Things to Come' I'm sure I'd have it made, anyone have any pointers please?

@#22 and 13 use blade air slice, charge it up, and go to where the hunters spawn to keep them over there as long as possible. With a few tries and some luck you'll get it.

The last boss isn't that hard, even on hard difficulty.
First as soon as it starts equip your armour and musclemass. Run round and pick up bombs and missiles and throw them at the boss (best if musclemass level is maxed), save the parked helicopters if when he does his devastator attack or when your 1 on 1 because they do much more damage.
The only other alternative is probably the whipfist but that isn't as effective

to the two above me
The final bossfight is incredebly hard if you have no idea what tactic to use, whatever you read online DO NOT USE ANYTHING EXCEPT THESE TWO:
Whipfist (my favorite, musclemass didn't work for me 53 times then one time i only used whipfist i completed it with 22 seconds left.)
Musclemass: Throw everything you can find at him, that's it.
