Prototype Achievements

Achieve a Platinum Medal in all Events.
Before you even think about going for Platinum in ANY event, you must first get gold in all 53 and achieve the "Au" achievement. Once you have done so, a notification will appear saying you can now go for Platinum on all events; any event that has already earned a Pt score will be automatically upgraded. Go through all the events again, getting Platinum requirements.
To make some of the events easier (such as Raid and War), finish a playthrough and start a New Game + on Easy to finish them off.

For a list of Platinum requirement times for all events, please use this guide.
Warning: DO NOT get Pt scores on everything before unlocking the Au achievement. For some reason, it appears they do not stack and will glitch, only giving you Au and not Pt, despite all your events being at Pt status. The only way to fix this is to start a new game and do them all over. So, be sure to leave at least one event at a simple Au ranking to unlock the Au achievement and the ability to score platinum, then finish it off with a Pt score if you need. You can do up to 52 at Pt ranking before unlocking the Au achievement.

Get Platinum in all the events. Unlock platinum level, and then meet the requirements per challenge to get the platinum medal. Good luck, these are ridiculous.

Is there any possible cheat or glitch that could help me get this? I barely was able to get them all gold.

I don't think there are any glitches. This is the hardest achievement in the game I think. I have a few platinum medals but not near being done. I'd assume look on youtube to see if there are solutions. I can't be bothered with this achievement...

It's really not all that bad. The hardest ones to do are "armor" in kill and "cutting corners" in movement. If you can beat the final boss on hard than this achievement should not be hard for you. It took me forever to beat that boss and I stopped playing the game for a couple months because of frustration and decided to plug it in one day and somehow I beat him in like 5 tries.
What I did is start a playthrough + (beat the game and start a new game with all your unlocks) on easy. To do this you just go to "new game" after you have beat the game on any difficulty and there should be 6 selections, select "EASY +". You will have to play a little through the game to be able to highjack tanks and helicopters. This is good because you have become very used to the game and know some tricks on

movement and should have all of your weapon upgrades (***EASY WILL MAKE THE KILL AND WAR EVENTS POSSIBLE (MOSTLY RAID, WHICH IS CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE EVEN ON MEDIUM***). Then do the easy events first. I started with kill, then glide, then war, then movement. After you gold them, platinum will unlock. The kill, war, and glide will take a lot of time (mostly just raid, armor, and the fist ones). I divided them up in days so I did not get frustrated too much, this is probably a good idea. When you get to the movement ones just google how some people did it. You most likely will change the route up a little, but it is a good idea to see how some things will save time. There is actually a couple where the guy explains why and what he does. This helps on "cutting corners".

I just got this achie

I just got this achievement today. I did exactly what I suggested here because I lost all of my saved games from last year and had to redo everything again besides the achievements. This is the only one I was missing for this game so it wasn't too bad. If you have any questions feel free to message me on live ("mattycakes05"). After you know some tricks the events are not too difficult. I spent a lot of time on this achievement last year with terrible results and tried a new approach and got it in like 4 days with 2-4 hours each day, this is a lot less than what this site says it will take. Oh yeah, I wouldn't even consider myself that good at this game, luck does play a role in some of the events.

I say it's not really worth it. Getting the gold is hard enough, and you get plenty of G's for that.

The worst part about this achievement (at least with regards to the movement events) is the terribly imprecise controls and camera. In certain events if the camera is slightly askew or you nudge too far diagonally on one of the sticks, Alex will dash in the complete wrong direction. Its frustrating as all hell.

I finally just got this achievement. I just want to say how much i hate all of these events especially the way point ones. I hate them, i can't say it enough times. The best part of prototype 2 is that these are not in the game. Why why why am i racing around the city? what does that have to do with the game at all? I'd rather fight the final boss 10 times in a row than ever do one single event again. thank you.

also just to help out, when youre doing events that involve destroying military (and this especially helps with Knuckle Dragger) just disguise your self as a military unit then get a bunch of tanks parked next to the starting point. thats the only glitch/cheat that helps with any of these events.

I thought this was a pretty fun achievement, and its definitely worth the 60 Gs when you get it. If you dont get something in 10-20 tries just watch a video of it on youtube and you should get it within a few more tries.

big tip for movement events - ALWAYS try to hold jump button while you're in the air.

Haha, probably the HARDEST achievement i've ever gone for and also happens to be the ONLY achievement that has glitched on me and won't pop. Sucks.
