Retro City Rampage Achievements

8-bit Hydrant Overflow

Put 256 people on fire within a single life

The achievement description is a little misleading. You can obtain this by simply running over 256 within a single life, they do not have to be set on fire.

Recommend going for this near the Stadium Zone. There is a large parking lot with a good number of pedestrians that spawn. Simply drive around the parking lot running over all pedestrians you see. You can control the cops chasing you easily here and have less interference. If your threat level starts to rise, there is a silver coin near the wall of the stadium you can driver over to lower down your threat level. If your vehicle armor stats to go down, quickly find a new vehicle and continue running over pedestrians.

See the video for "Dance, Player, Dance!" for the route to the stadium.

This SEEMS to be glitched (or possibly a misprint).

I got it by doing nothing other than running over people until it unlocked. What makes it even more confusing is the fact that in the achievement section in game it just says "Kill 256 civilians within a single life" but the picture next to it is a guy on fire.

Wee bit weird :p

I'm leaning more towards misprint now going by the Steam cheevos and the Ps3 trophies lol

wrong or mispelled achievement descriptions and wrong achievement pics really annoy me. this got screwed up and no one caught it and/or bothered to fix it. far cry classic had two schievements that had the same pic as well. it can be confusing. poor job by the people who make the achievements.
