Rock Band 3

Rock Band 3 Achievements

Rock Band Immortal

5 Star every song in Rock Band 3 on Expert.

This will not be obtainable by everyone. You will need to get 5 stars on all 83 on disc songs on Expert difficulty to unlock this. If you can play well on every instrument this will be far easier. For example, Rainbow in the Dark is fairly challenging on Guitar but simple on keyboard. Antibodies is very difficult on Guitar and Bass but not too bad on Vocals. Good luck if you are trying to do this with only one instrument - it will take a lot of skill. You can check which songs you have left by going to the Career Goals section under Rock Band > Epic Rock Band 3 > Rock Band 3 Expert Master. If you are close on a song, you can turn on No Fail to try and get a more effective overdrive path.

Can this be a combo of instruments? Say i can't do it on guitar could I do it on vocals and it will count?

Apparently, yes. It should combine across all of your instruments :)

You don't have to do all Instruments...It worked with me doing the Drums but the only thing that too me some time was Llama ^_^

You only have to 5 star every song on ANY instrument. Every song has to be 5 stared on expert, but it doesn't matter what instrument you did it on as long as it gets that way.

Say you sing a lot, and you 5 star every song on vocals exept for Bohemian Rhapsody. Just pick up your guitar and 5 star it on that and the achievement is yours.

In addition to what I said earlier, you can look in Career for the achievement's challenge to see what songs you havent gotten 5 stars on yet.

Five starring everything on drums was no problem, but getting the achievement seems to be.I've gotten gold stars on most songs and five stars on the rest and don't have the achievement. IDK what to do then. Any help?

i cant carry a tune in a bucket so cant do vocals, there is no keys, and im not even attempting drums! lol
im pretty good with guitar and have 5 starred harder songs but cant seem to do this

@15 In the verses,there are 5 notes per strum(Including the chord),it's also
a good time for star power.And you should Alt-strum those notes,it makes it
easier and you're less likely to annoy your arm.In the solo it's mostly just
sliding up and down the neck.And in the chorus it's 4 notes sliding up the neck
but aren't hammer-ons.And it's easier when you play on your own,as if you play
with someone less skilled who misses unison bonuses(which you can get on your own)
it will stop you from getting star power so easily.

I did it. The most hardest song like beast and the harlot,Round about,
Antibodies, Liama, Caught in a mosh and jerry was a race car driver I did
on vocal. No problem

Anybody think that Roundabout on guitar shouldn't be classified as impossible? I can nearly gold star it on guitar,while I can only just barely 4 star Antibodies. There's something wrong there.

I usually start by playing on guitar because thats just what i play and if i cant get it with the guitar ill try it on bass if not bass if it supports keys then that and my last hope would have to be vocals. I not very good on drums. Try that sequence and you should get it in no time

The only song preventing me from getting this is Caught in a Mosh by Anthrax. The guitar part is absurd, bass part is almost as hard, drums is damn near impossible, no keyboard part at all, and I suck at vocals. My best bet is probably to keep practicing the bass part, but it's irritating to know only one song stands in my way. Oh, and Llama by Phish; do it on keys, for sure! Easiest instrument on that song, even if you're actually playing keys on guitar.

Anthrax go to vocals... Harmony not solo turn all microphone volume down and starting breathing or humming along you'll 100% get 5star! Tell me if you guys used this method

@28 Titanarm

I just watched a YouTube video of someone doing that. It looks like the strategy behind that is the first vocalist has all the melody parts (obviously) but the second and third vocalists have lots of talking parts, so if you botch up the melody by not being able to carry a tune, you can usually still save and get credit for the phrase by hitting the talking parts. Looks totally possible. I'[m going to try after I get out of work tonight.

@27 Thanks for the tip! Damn that song was annoying on Guitar (i'd often fall just short of 5 Stars on hard). The harmony method does indeed make it easier.

Llama. I say get at least 95 percent on the solo, and to 5 star it, you need ~119,000. 5 starring caught in a mosh and 25 or 6 to 4 for me was SO LUCKY.

Sigh...freaking Caught in a Mosh. It figures that one of the worst songs in the game would have to be played over and over again because it;s so damn hard. At least the vocal part is fairly easy.

Oh, and for those of you who are thinking you can just use bass on everything...Roundabout. That's all I have to say. F***ING ROUNDABOUT.

Three left. I'm going to do them on vocals I think, including Roundabout, because I want to be able to say I 5 starred something Jon Anderson sang on Expert. :P

Caught in a Mosh, Jerry Was a Racecar Driver and Llama are all freakishly easy on Vocals. Anyone having issues with those, do them that way. Beast and Harlot is another matter, but it's definitely easier on Vocals than the other instruments. Just a matter of learning the melody (which is terrible), but very doable.

Man, such a b**ch to get this cheevo. Antibodies is hella annoying. Along with a few others. I did the Endless Setlist III, and got 53 of the songs done on Expert Bass including Beast and the Harlot.
