Introduction
The achievements for this game are fairly straightforward and are actually pretty simple, with this list being much easier than TFE or TSE. Many of the achievements this time around are just for playing the game basically with a few for more specific tasks. Please refer to the bottom of the roadmap for useful links to other threads and the credits.

Step One – Single-Player Campaign
During this step you will want to knock out pretty much everything campaign related by yourself. You could either begin on serious difficulty and go for everything at once (which would be somewhat harder), or you could go through on Tourist with some modified settings and have a blast. If you didn’t go through on Serious the first time, then now’s the time to do that. Once you’ve done all of this, there’s only seven achievements left.

Step Two – Co-operative Achievements
Now’s the time to tackle the co-op. Luckily this time around you just have to finish the campaign with one other player on any difficulty with any settings and kill one enemy with a friend in a unique way. Along the way for co-op, you will have multiple chances to obtain the execution move achievement (refer to "Headsman").

Step Three - Online Achievements and DLC
The final step includes the Jewel of the Nile DLC and the online versus MP portion of the game. It has been confirmed that you must buy the DLC/MP portion as well if you want the full 250 and all 25 achievements. Once this step is done, so is your quest to completion.

There are 25 achievements with a total of 250 points

  • Complete any level in single player.

This is extremely self-explanatory. Simply begin a new game and complete the first level and this one will be yours.

  • Complete the single player campaign.

Also pretty much self-explanatory, just start a new game and keep on going until you’re done! There are a total of twelve levels in the game (listed below). In addition to this list, clicking the name of each level will take you to a wiki page of the level which lists all the secrets on each one.

    1. Summer in Cairo
    2. Into the Spider's Nest
    3. Broken Wings
    4. No Place to Hide
    5. Under the Iron Cloud
    6. The Silent Riddler
    7. Unearthing the Sun
    8. The Dark Bride
    9. The Power of the Underworld
    10. The Lost Temples of Nubia
    11. The Last Man on Earth
    12. The Guardian of Time
  • Complete the game in single player on unmodified serious difficulty.

Completing the game on serious will probably prove to be the toughest achievement in the game. If not for this, the overview difficulty would be about a 1/10. You also have to do it on unmodified serious difficulty, which sadly means no infinite ammo. Luckily completing this mode isn’t reliant on ammo count, but rather clever use of the ammo you have and saves.

Here are some tips to get you through serious a little bit easier:

    • Find secrets. Most of the time secrets will help you and provide new weapons early, health and armor items, and alternate routes. Refer to "Look, it’s a secret" for secret locations.
    • Abuse saving. Since you can save at any time, make good use of it. Clear an area with minimal damage? Save! Take too much damage? Load!
    • Use level skips. Some levels have unintended ways to 'break' the map and skip large chunks of levels. This is only really useful for serious or speed-runs. Refer to "Serious Sam" to visit each level page of the wiki to find out which levels can be skipped and how.
    • Plan ahead. If you know a boss fight is coming or a swarm of smaller enemies is about to spawn, use the appropriate weapons and conserve ammo depending on the fights at hand.
    • Spam explosives. The C4/rockets in this game are infinite, so to speak. If you locate an explosives crate with C4 or rockets inside, use them! Spam that junk! Then when you’ve cleared an area, go back and refill your supply.
    • Use retreat as an option. Many times it may be more worth while to go and funnel enemies into bottlenecks or just retreat to gather supplies/recover from battles. Fighting enemies from a distance also works great in many situations.
  • Perform all possible finishing moves in the game.

    (4)

There are a total of nine possible finishing moves, one of which is not required however. Below is a full list of them all. In order to do these moves, you must directly approach each enemy and press  (excluding the Khnum execution).

    • Shell Rip an Antaresian Spider.
    • Ocular Devastation on a Gnaar.
    • Neck Crack an Arachnoid Hatchling.
    • Cardiac Arrest a Beheaded Rocketeer (fists must be out).
    • Boot Stomp an Antaresian Spider Hatchling.
    • Spine Adjustment on a Cloned Rifleman (fists must be out).
    • Face Lift a Scrapjack (refer to "Load of Scrap").
    • Take the skull of a Kleer Skeleton.
    • Decapite a Khnum in co-operative (not required for the achievement, refer to "Headsman").
  • Rescue professor Stein. So to say.

Story related and can only be missed by using secret number five on this level. This achievement is obtained by locating the remains of someone in the second level; ‘Into the Spider’s Nest.’

  • Secure the bird.

Story related and can only be missed by killing the Technopolip before the final area. This achievement is obtained by defeating the Technopolip in the final area (when its health bar appears) of the fourth level; ‘No Place to Hide.’

  • Solve the riddle of the Sphynx.

Story related and can only be missed if you use the level skip to bypass the Sphynx area. This achievement is obtained by destroying the Sphynx with C4 on the sixth level; ‘The Silent Riddler.’

  • Power up the Timelock.

Story related and cannot be missed. This achievement is obtained once the second generator is powered up on the ninth level; ‘The Power of the Underworld.’

  • Awake the Guardian of Time.

Story related and cannot be missed. This achievement is obtained by awakening the ‘Guardian of Time’ in the final level of the game; ‘The Guardian of Time.’

  • Find at least 50 secrets in single player.

Secrets in this game are not all that hard to find if you explore everywhere you can.

If you have trouble finding 50 (although there are plenty to be had) please visit THIS LINK to visit a page of videos of secret locations in each level as well as on serious difficulty thanks to qazxsq13.

If text descriptions would be more suited to your style, please refer to "Serious Sam" and click on the level name which takes you to a wiki page of that level which lists all secrets on that level.

  • Complete the campaign in cooperative with at least 2 players.

    (6)

This achievement is the longer of the two which requires two players. All you have to do is start up a private co-operative game and make sure you pick the first level (‘Summer in Cairo’) and set auto cycle to ON. To make it easier, set the difficulty to Tourist and put infinite ammo ON. Run through all the levels with your partner and you’ve got it!

NOTE: This does NOT have to be done in one session and the game will keep track of any levels which still need to be completed in the in-game tracker.

  • Kill an enemy using the Mutilator.

The mutilator is sort of like an electric whip much like the whip in Bulletstorm. It will first be acquired on the sixth level in the game which is called ‘The Silent Riddler.’ Obtaining it is story related and you will obtain it down inside a pyramid off of a dead body. Simply kill one enemy and this one’s yours.

  • Decapitate a Khnum.

    (4)

This is another achievement which can only be done with two players. A Khnum is a tall grey skinned beast with two horns. In the early levels, it will only observe you. To decapitate one, both players must have a Mutilator and leash it at the same time.

The seventh level of the game, ‘Unearthing the Sun,’ would be the best place to attempt this as there is a boss fight with just one and it will only be you and the Khnum. Both you and your partner should just focus on trying to constantly leash him.

If nothing is happening, make sure you and your partner are leashing at the same time and not letting go of the leash. It would also be wise to attempt this on tourist difficulty as they are able to damage you quite a bit.

If a video could help you, here is one made with two players by 300kupa
    (VOLUME WARNING! RIP HEADPHONE USERS!):

  • Kill at least 5 headless kamikazes in one explosion.

This one is easiest to do on the first level; ‘Summer in Cairo.’ At one point in the level, you will initiate a spawn area of kamikazes (screaming headless guys with bombs, can’t miss them) and there will be plenty of them. In this same area, you will see a shed with a destroyed car underneath it. Jump from the car to the roof once this fight begins and all the kamikazes will group underneath you. Kill one with your pistol and they will explode in a group.

  • Smash 20 Kleers with the Sledgehammer.

The first Sledgehammer can either be found across from you on the roof below in the start of the very first level or around the corner and through a door inside a storage locker of some sort. Simply smash a Kleer (running skeleton enemy) with it which will be an instant kill. Rinse and repeat 19 more times.

  • Blow a Major Biomechanoid into pieces.

A Major Biomechanoid is a large red brain looking enemy. The earliest you can attempt this is level five; 'Under the Iron Cloud,' by finding secret number nine on this level. This can only be done by attaching a C4 charge directly to it (by aiming for its brain and throwing it) and detonating the C4.

  • Kill the kicked enemy while it is still in the air.

If you are holding a weapon in your hand (not your fists) you will kick away any small enemy such as a Beheaded Rocketeer or Cloned Rifleman by pressing . As soon as you kick the enemy away, fire your weapon and kill them in mid-air. The pump shotgun would be best for this.

  • Rip Scrapjack's head off.

A Scrapjack is an enemy which looks a lot like a Mancubus from Doom. This achievement is for one of the execution moves. This particular move can only be done while the Scrapjack is stunned (which is designated by the Scrapjack hunching over). Once he is stunned by heavily damaging him in a short span of time, run up and rip his head off.

A Scrapjack cannot be stunned on Tourist difficulty.

In case a video could help you, here’s one by MrMartinSchou:

  • Kill 20 enemies with the Minigun without releasing the trigger.

The XM-214-A Minigun is first acquired (normally) in the level ‘The Dark Bride’ from an automatic sentry gun which shoots at anything in its range.

Right after the group of Kleers and Major Biomechanoids, there will be a large group of Beheaded Rocketeers which will spawn and are perfect for this achievement. Just keep spraying them down and this one will be yours.

You can also obtain the Minigun early from secret number two in 'The Silent Riddler.'

  • Find Sam's classic outfit.

This is actually a secret which is found in the very first level. At a certain point in the level, you will get a call from someone and you will head through a building with stairs. Head up the stairs and jump across the broken sections. Once you are up here, walk out to the balcony and turn to the right. You will see two red shoes on a box, walk up to them and you’ve got this one.
