Introduction:
Welcome to Skate 3, Black Box's newest addition to the Skate series. You will be doing everything from nollie 360 flipping to jumping huge gaps in this Skate game. As you start playing, it can be useful to just skate around a bit and get a feel of the flick-it system. Skate to all your challenges and you will become a much better skater then just teleporting to them.

Breakdown:
As you play through the single player campaign, you will unlock most of the achievements naturally. Only a couple of them will take you out of your way. If you are ever having trouble with a specific challenge in the career, you can go online and complete a majority of them together with other skaters. Also play on easy if you are having trouble getting enough speed, or with any of the challenges.

Career:
Step 1 - Play the game
Play through the challenges and complete all the various objectives found in each challenge. You will well be on your way to completing the various goals and going for 1,000,000 boards sold. After you have completed the story you may want to complete all the challenges that you haven't completed. You can check most of your progress in your skate.Profile: Career in the main menu.

These include:

  • Team Challenges(33)
  • Deathrace(9)
  • Film(12)
  • Getting Started(6)
  • Hall of Meat(20)
  • Own The Lot(11)
  • Own the Spot(16)
  • Photo(18)
  • Pros(19)
  • Team Promos(20)
  • Street Contests(9)
  • Training(16)
  • Tranny Contests(9)

Step 2 - Challenges
You have to 'Kill' 80 out of 83 challenges found in the single player. Once you have completed a challenge, if you go to retry it, it may give you the choice of "Try killing it." This gives you the challenge over again with a harder set of objectives to complete. This will be the toughest part of the game for newcomers and experts alike. Keep at them and learn the tricks and you will have it eventually.

Xbox Live Multiplayer
Once you have completed the single player portion of this game, you should have become skilled enough for the online community. There are a lot less multiplayer achievements in this game than in the previous games. Start off by creating a team and inviting your friends to it. Once you have your team, go and play the various challenges to unlock the achievements you desire.

New York Maloof Money Cup DLC (400 MSP)
This DLC will take anywhere from 1-2 hours, it is extremely short and will not be to difficult. Remember that if at any time you are having trouble, host a online match for others to help you with the specific challenge you are having trouble with.

Danny's Hawaiian Dream DLC (560 MSP)
This DLC will also take between 1-2 hours, it is a fairly enjoyable DLC. Remember that if at any time you are having trouble, host a online match for others to help you with the specific challenge you are having trouble with.

All the DLC achievements are tired to completing the various photo, video and contest challenges. Just make sure you complete all the objectives around the parks and you will be well on your way to completing each pack.

Clearing-up
If you are still missing any achievements, please refer to the achievement guide for tips.

Conclusion:
Playing your way through the career and various single player achievements can at times be hard and frustrating, but keep a cool head and you will surely complete whatever you need. Remember, if you're stuck, try playing online co-op or changing the difficulty.

Once in, invite all your friends to the game and once 6 people are in the game the achievement will unlock.

  • Win a Ranked Online Solo Challenge

You must win one Ranked Online challenge. Go to the Online Challenge Map and go to the Versus tab. You have the choice of Quick Match or Custom Match. I recommend Custom Match and selecting your favorite game type. I believe the easiest to play is Hall of Meat. A quick way to get points is by torpedoing, by pressing left on the and then spinning by pressing left/right on . Once you are near the ground, go into a cannonball by pressing up on the . Once you start rolling and your feet are facing the ground, press the button which will make your character push off the ground and gain some extra points. Under the "Team" tab you will see Ranked Team > Quick Match and Custom Match. Choose any challenge and win. You can play by yourself on your team and still win, but the odds are against you because many teams play with 2-3 people. Own the Lots seem to be the easiest to win if you're by yourself or with a couple teammates. If the other team leaves the game it counts as a win for you.

  • Be part of a team with two or more skaters

    1. Play on easy difficulty, you gather speed much quicker and it is harder to fall.
    2. Tighter trucks and softer wheels help you corner and move at high speeds. Don't make them too tight or you can't turn at all.
    3. The biggest secret, while going down major hills start kickfliping. It keeps you in the air and it makes you gain massive speed. Keep kickflipping down those hills and you'll win in no time.
  • Complete Coach Frank's skate.School Tutorials

    • 1,000,000 HoM Points. This will come with the other challenges, it's cumulative.
    • Break 50 Bones. Easy to grind out if you finish before breaking them, and goes hand in hand with 1,000,000 HoM points.
    • Bail onto the storage crate. This storage crate is to your far left. Bail, and Spread Eagle ( Down). If you need targeting help, hold for slow-motion.
    • Do all four tweaks in one bail. Do an entire bail for this, and make sure you hold each for a second, so that it registers. You'll hear a noise when it does.(All directions on the )
    • Bail into the lamppost. Dead ahead of you. Spread Eagle with ( Down), but be careful not to soar past it! Again, for slow-motion.
    • Do a 90,000 point bail. Fairly easy with all of the obstacles and height you're given. Tweaks, spins and objects all count towards this number. If you're close when you land, try kicking off with to continue the bail.
    • Bail onto the roof. The roof is to your right. You'll have to soar for this one again ( Down), but it's an easy enough target to hit. Try and get a solid push in before bailing, for the distance.
    • Do three push-offs in one bail. This is achieved by pressing when on a surface. I'd recommend being in cannonball, and pressing it when your legs are on the ground (rather than your head). You will push off into the air, giving you enough momentum to land again and repeat.
    • Smack into the I-beams. This is on the crane holding you up, but rather hard to spot. Jump straight off, and look down. The I-beam is jutting out of the crane, and is illuminated by a blue ring.
    • Bail for 13 seconds. Bail for 13 seconds. Soaring and pushing off is how you want to do this. You should have no trouble getting 15+ seconds if you use push offs correctly.
    • Push off the crane support. is push off. Try and cannonball down onto the sloped crane support (directly in front of you when you spawn), and pushing off is easy while rolling down it.
    • Torpedo into the forklift. Torpedo is ( Left). The forklift is to your far left, you may want to Spread Eagle( Down) until you're closer to it. You must hold the torpedo for it to register, so don't do it too late.
    • Do a hand gesture while bailing. During a bail press any direction on the D-pad.

  • Own all of the spots

    (4)

There are a total of 16 spots you have to own. A great way to find all the spots is through the online menu. In the Menu go to "Online Challenge Map" > Team > Spot Battle. When you go to accept a challenge, sometimes where the objective details are displayed, you will see it flash and tell you the 'Killed' objectives. If you have completed a challenge already, you can go back and retry which will give you the "Kill it" option. Ex. (owned) Beat a score of 1000 (killed) Beat a score of 1500. There are only 83 challenges that you can kill in the single player.

Secret achievements

  • Catch the Skate Flu

    (14)

This achievement is viral so if someone in a online multiplayer lobby has this achievement, you will get it too. Playing any game mode online will more then likely get you this achievement. Just play online until you unlock this.

  • 75,000 point bail

I got this on the challenge "Hall of Meat - Tumble Weed" challenge. An easy way to rack up points is by Torpedoing(Left on ) and then spinning(Right or Left on .) Once you land, if you're near 75,000, just press up and down on the to make your guy twitch and rack up the last bit of points you need.

  • Blaow!

    20

    10,000 point trick

    (4)

An easy place to do this is once you reach the Monster Contest. Down the big ramp get yourself a 3x multiplier while your going down. Reach the ramp and fliptrick to a 540 grab move. The bigger the better, switch gives you more points also.

  • Perform a 100 meter or 300 foot grind

    (8)

Once you've completed the "Hall of Meat - Meat in Training" Challenge, you will be on top of a huge hill that winds down a long . Ollie on this rail with a boardslide and ride it all the way down. The rail in 400+ feet so you shouldn't have trouble with this.

  • 30,000 point line

    (7)

A line is when you combine tricks and continue earning a score without your multiplier running out or falling, which cancels the line. I found the best place to do this is near the challenge "Hall of Meat - Tumbleweed." There are two half pipes connected to one another. Easy combos are to flip trick into the air and then do a grab and spin. The repeat this with different combination's of tricks. If you are having trouble getting air, pump by pressing + and then releasing the + buttons near the curve of the ramp. You can practice this in "Training > Intermediate skate. school > Pumping Transition.

DLC: Maloof Money Cup 2010 NYC Pack (Store Link)

There are 5 achievements with a total of 100 points

  • Win the Maloof NY Contest

    (1)

The Maloof NY Contest consists of 3 Rounds.

    Round 1 – Grind-Only Jam
Round 2 – Best Trick Down The Middle
Round 3 – Jam The Whole Park

This is a pretty straight forward Contest and is not different from the main campaign.

Round 1 - You'll definitly need to get a x2 or x3 multiplier going as the AI can rack up some good points in this round (anywhere from 2k-6k). So either ollie and trick the gap or grind off the first rail to get your multiplier going, then simply set yourself up for a grind on the second rail/ledge and rack up the points to take the top spot.

Round 2 - is all about getting a good line. You have no multiplier here, so try and get a good trick to grind combo going and you should be good.

Round 3 - you'll just need to get that multiplier going again and rack up those points!

  • Complete the Maloof NY Street OTL

    (3)

    This OTL consists of 6 challenges;

Maloof NY Accumulation - Reach the Target Score of 12,000 to Win this Challenge. Again get you multiplier going and keep the combo's coming.

    Bank To The Future:

    • Bank to Grind the Ledge
    • Bank to Grind to the End of the Ledge
    • Grind the Manny Pad into the Bank

From where you Start hit the bank and ollie onto the Ledge. Once you've hit the grind, ollie off back into the bank and make sure you keep your speed for the second bank as you need to grind the whole length of it. You can start from half way on the ledge, so just pump down the bank, line up hit the bank and land from your ollie half way onto the ledge and grind the rest of the way, just make sure you ollie from the Blue Arrows or it wont count! Once you come off the end of the second ledge just line yourself up with the manny pad, grind the edge and you're done!

Pathway Bush Gaps - Air over the Bushes. Just ollie over the 4 bushes that are presented in front of you. Get good speed, ollie well and this should be a breeze.

Tailblunter - Nose, Tail or Bluntslide the Ledges. Again another simple challenge. All you have to do is do the specific grind on any other ledges around the park. Once one ledge has been grinded on you cannot grind on it again, so move onto the next one.

Maloof Manual Madness - Nose Manual to Manual Across the Pad. Simply ollie onto the pad, land in a nose manual, quickly ollie out and into a standard manual and off the edge you go. Be aware that Reverts dont count! I did a 180 and then landed into the manual and it still counted even though it looks like a you're doing a nose. If it doesnt work for you try this as some people have had a little trouble with this challenge.

The Maloof NY List is revealed in this order:

    • 1,000pt Grind
    • 1,000pt Gap off the Side Edge
    • Grind Around the Bank
    • Footplant a Hubba
    • Grind over the Grate
    • Do a Darkslide
    • Hit 3 Rails without Bailing
    • Do a Bluntslide
    • Step Up the Bottom Hubba
    • Gap the Central Manny Pad
  • Complete the Maloof NY Tranny OTL

    (3)

    This OTL consists of 6 challenges;

Vertical Vibration - Reach the Target Score of 40,000 to Win this Challenge. Very tricky imo. You'll need to get your x3 multiplier up asap and keep it there. Try and not fall off you board, mix up your tricks from air to ground and rack up the points. Good luck!

Bridging The Blaow! - Gap from Hip to Hip. Follow the arrows all the way. Drop in and pump for a little extra speed and then try and hit the hip with as much force as possible to clear the gap. May take a few goes to get the hang of it.

Alternative Line: From where you spawn, do not drop in. Instead, follow the vert around, ollie or grind ofer the gap and keep picking up speed. When you get to the end just make a massive ollie over to the other vert and land on it. You can sometimes just touch the inner edge but if done right the challenge should get checked off!

    Hip That Line:

    • Make the Hip Transfer
    • Step-up from the Bank
    • Grind the Rail Down the Bank

Drop in down the slope and hit the bank for the transfer. Once you land you should have enough speed from your landing to make it to the top of the platform then simply line yourself up to the rail and grind down it. Remember this doesnt have to be down all in one line, so you can try and do part by part.

    Vert-Tag-O - Tag the Spots.

    • There is a total of 10 Spots to Tag:
    • The transfer right infront of you when you spawn
    • The corner of the vert opposite the yellow rail
    • The high wall on the vert at the back of the park (the one to your right from your spawn point)
    • The long yellow rail next to the stair set (behind spawn)
    • The small stair set next to the long yellow rail
    • The small arch way gap to the right of the park
    • The big transfer gap to the right of the park. Its right next to the arch way one
    • The walled bank on top of the rounded vert in the middle of the park
    • The second walled bank on top of the rounded vert in the middle of the park
    • The built up vert at the front of the park. The one that has the hanging yellow rail

Permission To Transfer - One Foot Transfer the Gap. The way I did this was to drop in, head towards the other vert ramp and pump up it, get some air and land with a pump out then line myself up to the gap and launched across it. Works quite well as I had the speed but there's many methods to this challenge.

Alternative Line: Pretty much the same as BridgeThe Blaow! Stay on top of the vert and just ollie to the other side. this one is a little more tricky as the rail is right on the edge, but if you set it up righ and ollie good you'll land safly on the other side.

The Quartered List is revealed in this order:

    • 4.0m Air
    • Grind the Low Bank Rail
    • Gap Across the Insert Quarterpipe
    • Do a 180 No-Foot
    • Grind Up & Down the Angled Edge
    • Grind the Insert Quarterpipe's Rail
    • Do a 540 Fingerflip
    • Gap Over the Extension
    • 2,000pt Grap Trick
    • Handplant the Skinny Edge
    • Do a 720
    • Gap the Arch
  • Complete both Maloof NY Photo Challenges

Money Manual – For this Photo you need to ollie onto the platform and just perform a simple manual along it. I managed to ollie onto it (its quite a heigh) but you'll see to your right there is a small kicker. If you're having trouble getting yourself up onto the platform just get off you board and move the ramp into place and use it to help you get that extra bit air.

The Clean-Up Shot – Easy as pie! Gather a bit of speed, get a good ollie and do any grab trick over the dumpsters.

  • Complete both Maloof NY OTS Challenges

    (1)

Maloof Edge - A standard ledge grind with a gap at the end. Gather a bit of speed, trick into a grind and trick out over and down the gap. I hit the wall from its left side as I was having a little trouble with right as the path slopes down and away from it a little. You'll need to beat 900pts to Own this Spot and 1,200 to Kill It!

Money Banks - Again this is a standard grind Spot. Drop in down into the vert to your left and ollie off the bank towards the yellow rail. Do some mad tricks in the air, land the grind and trick off. You can also try the other ledge to grind but I found the yellow rail easier. You'll need 900pts to Own this Spot and 1,200pts to Kill It!

DLC: Danny's Hawaiian Dream (Store Link)

There are 7 achievements with a total of 150 points

  • Complete both Demos

    (1)

Danny Way’s Street Demo: A simple street Demo to get you started into this DLC. You must get a score 7,500pts to stoke the crowd. Just like any contest as such, get a good combo going and rack up those points!

Danny Way’s Tranny Demo: For this Demo you must stoke the crowd and get a total score of 15,000pts or above within the time limit. This is durable like the first demo, so just keep your combo up and you’ll have it in no time!

  • Complete the

    Touch and Go:

    Own It –

    • Footplant to Cross the Water

From you spawn, you can get 3 pushes in. Head towards the bank and ollie into it. In mid air pull a footplant (+ or another combo) and you should land in the middle of the slope over the water. Once you leap out of it you should land back onto the flat or the bank the other side!

    Kill It –

    • 360 Footplant to Cross the Water

Its much easier that it looks. Again head towards the bank, ollie and push right/left on the to start a spin and at the same time press + to do the footplant. You should get a 180 in before your footplant and you should 180 out. This all adds together to make a 360.

    Gazebo Film:

    Own It

    • Gap up Over the Flowers
    • Gap Down Over the Flowers
    • Grind Down the Stair Set

A pretty easy and simple line to be honest! The first flower gap is right in front of you. 2 pushes is all you need and you can olllie up it. Head straight and ollie the second then simply line up to the rail and grind down it. Should be a breeze and done first go!

    Kill It

    • Nollie to Nose Manual the Flower Gaps
    • Footplant a Rail to Clear the Stair Set

Again start off with a 2 pushes. Set yourself up into a nollie and pop over the first flower gap. Now make sure you land in a Nose Manual when you hit the top! Keep it straight and head to the next flower gap. Nollie out and land. Now line yourself up with one of the rails and get an ollie and land into a footplant (+ or another combo) onto the rail. Your best bet is to land a fair way down the rail due to you having to land on the flat and not the stairs to tick this off.

  • Complete the Danny Way Street Path

    (1)

    Danny Way’s Street Plazas OTL has 6 Challenges;

Transfer Tromping – Reach the target score of 20,000pts within the time limit. This is pretty straight forward and easy. Like most things, get your x3 multiplier up and bash out the tricks. Mix some flips with some air and the points will rack up!

    Plaza Line;

    • Gap to Manual across the Flat
    • Gap the Stairs into the Bank
    • Gap from Bank to the Grind

Straight away from your spawn head straight. You’ll see the flat right in front of you. Just ollie into it and land into a manual. Manual all the way and fall off the edge. You’ll then see the double stair set with a hubba in the middle a little to your left. You'll need to ollie at an angle in towards the hubba. This means when you clear the set you’ll actually land on the slope at the end of the hubba and gather some speed and checking off the 2nd task on the list. From here you need to make sure you’re on the left of the grass ledge as there’s a small ramp you need to hit which is in the center. Now line yourself up, ollie off it and try and land in a grind on the rail on the other side. If you have too much speed you’ll just clear it, so try and get the right amount of speed to land just right.

River Rail Ransom – There are 6 rails in total that you need to grind. They’re all low and easy. There’s 3 on the right of the river and 3 on the left. Just start from your spawn and head to the end and then loop back up the other side!

Laser Tag – There’s a total of 15 transfers in this park. Most of them are easy but 2 can be a little tricky. They’re the ones that are right in front of you when you spawn near the back of the map. The biggest is in the top left and the other is a little to the right behind you from said spot. You’ll need to get a few good transfer in before you hit these so you have the speed to clear them!

The Big Kick – For this challenge you’ll need to get 700pts to pass. Its best you hit the left ramp as its right in front of you and you don’t really have to maneuver much to get the line on it. Simply ollie off and do some grab/flip tricks and to add some more points if you’re low or think you won’t reach the target try and land on the rail for a grind to add more.

Danny’s Street List; The list is revealed in this order [9]:

    1,500pt Grind
An easy target to meet. Just start doing some tricks around the area to get your multiplier up and then hit any of the rails or ledges to max out the points until the target is met. (Now Respawn)

    Gap the Double Bush
This is to the right of the long ledge near you spawn. Its an easy small gap to ollie. So gather speed and simply pop over it! (Now Respawn)

    Grind Out the Long Ledge
This is right in front of you where you spawn! You should be pretty lined up with it, so push off and ollie straight onto it. Grind it all the way and tick of this mark. You may actually be able to get the 1.5kpt Grind challenge off this. (Now Respawn)

    Gap the Banker Planter
This again this is at your spawn. Look to your left and you'll see the arrow pointing to it. Push twice to get some speed, hit the little bank and ollie up and over it to the other side. You can either respawn here or head straight to the next challenge below.

    Gap the Long Stairs
These are the stairs which are in front of the long ledge a little to the left. Gather some speed and simply ollie over them. Its a small set, so it shouldn't prove to be difficult. (Now Respawn)

Use the Kicker to Clear the Planter
This is tricky! You need to take the Plaze Line route here. So gather speed, ollie that stair set but at an angle so you land n the bank. Then pump out of it, one push and aim for the steep bank. You'll need to ollie just right to make over over the planter and have plenty of speed. This may take a fair few goes, so good luck!
NOTE - I've noticed people ollieing off the kicker then landing in a grind and it ticking off, so give this a go and it may work!

    Grind the Bridge Rail
You have four rails to choose from here. I recommend you hit the part that goes into the centre as you may normally over shoot the lower part and miss the rail.

    Bean Plant in the Garden
You couldn't get an easier challenge!! In the top left of the area is a little Garden (4 plant squares). Roll up into it and press then (or another footplant combo) and you're done.

    Grind Across the Gazebo
From the above, Turn and head to the opposite end of the park. Up the stairs and infront of you, you'll see the edge you need to grind and the kicker you need to hit. Start at the stairs and gather speed. Hit the kicker at the right angle (as the arrows show) and with enough speed you should make it all the way across! Can be a little tricky because of the angle and sometimes you'll land on the flat, miss completely, hit the tree or even the wooden pole on the flat. Just keep at it and you'll eventually get the right spot!

Danny's Tranny List – The list is revealed in this order [12]:

    Do a Rocket-Air
This can be done on the first slope (yes slope, not jump). Push off and when at a good distance ollie into the slope. Make sure its a good ollie that you'll land back onto the slope but you have some air. From here just hold down on the and press + at the same time. If this doesnt work for you just preform it on the first ramp. (Now Respawn if you did it on the jump)

    Do a One-Foot 540
From your spawn or following on from the RA on the slope, just hit the first main jump and start you spin. During this hold (or another single button combo, see Trick Guide) to do a One-Foot and then land. (Now Respwan)

    Body Flip the First Hip
Again hit the first slope and aim for the jump. Just as you launch off hold or and down on the to perform a Backflip (BF I find are better than FF). Dont over spin it and let go at the righ time and land.

    Finger-Flip the Underpath's Set Up
From the Body Flip keep to the right and head under that little tunnel. Just line yourslef up and don't ollie out (can if you want to but does caus bad launches) as you'll have plenty of speed. When in the are hold any grab trick and twizel the stick in a kickflip/shove-it motion to perform a Finger-Flip. (Now Respawn)

    Gap the Super Mega Bank
See the 2 below then come back to this challenge. Follow the same tradition at the start but this time when you land head left. Turn on the bank and bomb it down the slope at the end. You want to aim for the Left set of arrows. Again dont ollie as you will normally time it wrong and get a bad launch or over hit it and bail. Fly over the gap in the middle and land the other side. (Now head to Semi-Super Mega Bank)

    720 Tweak Grab
Once you've respawned, push off, ollie into the slope and air off the first jump. When you've launched start your 720 spin and hold any grab. Make sure during this you tweak it! (Now Respawn)

    Do a Quad-Flip
Again follow the same routine but this time do a kickflip or heelflip but hold it so it does a Quad. You'll know when you're at the end as a Quad is the maximum amount of flips you can do, so it will automatically run out! In theory you can actually do this challenge and the one above in one jump on the first jump if done fast enough. I managed to do this with about a couple of second left of air. (Now head back up to Gap the Super Mega Bank)

    Gap the Semi-Super Mega Bank
Same as the Super Mega Bank, but this time you need to hit the Right hand side. The gap is a little smaller on this one. (Now Respwan)

    7,000pt Trick
You can get this on the first slope and main jump. I just got over 8,000pts from doing this. Ollie into the slope with a flip trick and into a grab with a 360 spin (x3 Multiplier right there). Hit the jump and pull out all the stops! Flip trick out, spin, grab finger-flip with a lateflip dark catch and land. If you dont get it on this jump but are close, KEEP right! This jump is closer and your multiplier wont run out! As long as you keep you speed carry onto the next challenge. If not Respawn, and again > (Keep to the right)

    No-Foot the Snake Maw Gap
From the 7,000pt trick (be it from the 1st jump), head right (if you did it on the 1st), do the first jump and follow the dam like trail around to the right (you'll be on this is you did the 7kpts on the 2nd jump and didnt respawn). As you make it to the bottom, pump out and head up the vert to the left. Pump up it, and then pump back out, but dont go vertically up it, keep aiming right! Aim for the main slope and again pump up it! This time you'll most likely have to ollie out as this can be a tricky jump. If done right you should have enough speed to make it! It may take a few goes. (Now Respwan)

    Do a Lateflip Dark Catch
You can do this on the slope of the first jump. Just get some air and do either a kickflip or heelflip but then hold to Dark Catch it in mid air. Once that is caught, fliptrick out and let go of to land.

    Make the Final Step-Up
From the above keep left! Go around the bank and hit the left ramp. Once landed pump out then pump up and you should make the last Step up over the bushes and into the other part of the park! If just leeting yourself roll off the jump isnt working, try again with an ollie.

  • Complete the

    Jungle Step:

    Own It –

    • · Make the Set Up

For this you’ll need to bomb it down the steep ramp and make it up the other end and onto the high step up. From your spawn take 3 pushes then try and get a good ollie into the ramp. You need to have and ollie that lands you onto the slope so that you pick up a good amount speed and you can then still pump out of it! If ollieing into it isn’t working just roll into the slope. Once you’ve pumped out, pump up the slope ollie out and you should make it to the top. This may take a few goes as sometimes you character doesn't make it and just turns in mid air to wallride the flat of the step up!

    Kill It –

    • 5,000pt Trick the Set Up

A little trickier than Owning It! I suggest you set your spawn point really far back. From a good distance get some speed and try and get an x3 multiplier. You can just stay in this area and build it up and add points for a little bit. After this, head to the ramp! Ollie in and do some more tricks to add those much need points! Again pump out of the slope then pump back up the other end. Once you’ve ollie out to make it up the set up, start pulling some more fancy tricks. Hopefully you’ll still have your x3 multiplier and make it to the all important 15,000pt Target!

    Danny’s Mega Gaps:

    Own It

    • Clear the First Gap
    • Gap the Huge Set Up
    • Gap into the Snake Run

To make life easy, just start off with 2 pushes and ollie into the first slope. From here on end just let yourself role. You will not need to ollie but feel free to. Just line yourself up with ramps and fly! One note to take with you though is that you MAY need to ollie on the last jump. Sometimes you make it without one, others you don’t.

    Kill It

    • Rocket-Air the First Gap
    • Tuck-Knee the Set Up
    • 540 Tweak Grab into the Snake Run

This one’s a little more tricky as tricks need to be performed! Again, start with 2 pushes then ollie into the slope. Ollie out and you’ll get maximum air. From here press down on and then + at the same time. This should perform a Rocket-Air. Once landed line up with the 2nd ramp, pump up and ollie out. Then press + to the right and you’ll do a Tuck-Knee. Again, once landed head towards the last slope and get maximum air off of it. Just as you ollie off of the slope start you spin. Do any grab that you feel comfortable with and make sure you tweak it.

If none of the tricks are working for you, just look under the Tricks Guide in the options menu. As different stances mean you need to press different button combos!

  • Complete the Danny Way Tranny Path

Overflow – You need to reach the target score of 20,000pts to pass this challenge. To make life easy, I recommend you stay in the Half pip right where you spawn. Its low and easy and great to get your x3 multiplier up making the target score a breeze to get!

    The Secret Tunnel;

    • Enter the Tunnel
    • Gap into the Pool
    • Finish off with a 540 off the Pool Wall

The tunnel will be down to your left from your spawn point on the big slope. Bomb it down and enter it. A little way through the challenge will tick off and you’ll then have to gap off the small incline and into the pool. You don’t actually have to land in the pool as I managed to land on the outside of it (near the lip) and it got ticked off. Either way if you do land in it or don’t just do a 540 off the vert that the arrows show or manually pump around the slopes until you have some good speed and air off it and spin!

Mega Snake Snack – Here you have a total of 8 spots to tag. The first 5 are small hip transfers, so are pretty simple to do with a bit of speed and pumping in between. Tag spot 6 is a small transfer into a bowl vert and 7 is the transfer out. Last but not least is tag 8, which is a another simple rounded hip.

Foot-lose – You should get this on your first attempt! Simply, push off twice, pop into the slope for maximum speed and when you land, pump up the ramp and ollie out! Hold + (or if different stance) to do a Christ-Air and add in the 540 spin. You should get more than enough air and even manage if tried to get a 720 spin out of it!

Danny’s Tranny List – The list is revealed in this order [12]:

    • Do a Rocket-Air
    • Do a One-Foot 540
    • Body Flip the First Hip
    • Finger-Flip the Underpath’s Set Up
    • Gap the Super Mega Bank
    • 720 Tweak Grab
    • Do a Quad-Flip
    • Gap the Semi-Super Mega Bank
    • 7,000pt Trick
    • No-Foot the Snake Maw Gap
    • Do a Lateflip Dark Catch
    • Make the Final Step-Up

To see a Guide on how to complete this with ease, refer to "Street Locals Only.'

  • Beat Danny Way in the Final Contest

    (1)

This is all about You vs Danny! The challenge is split into 3 Rounds:

    • Round 1 – Best Trick Over the First Hit
    • Round 2 – Jam in the Snake Run
    • Round 3 – Solo Run the Fun Track

Round 1 – This is just the first major ramp out the Danny’s Mega Park. Again like the OTL stuff, just ollie into the first slope, pump out then pump up and ollie out of the lip. Racking up some major points on this jump is pretty easy and fun. I suggest you trick out of the jump and maybe throw in a lateflip. Do multiple grabs in the air adding in a good spin and some tweaks! I did this and got 4,340pts on my first jump and Danny got 1,640pts. Just keep at it until the timer runs out but don’t take to long as you don’t get a massive amount of time on this challenge.

Round 2 – This can be a little tricky due to the fact its hard to find a good spot to keep you flow going. I recommend heading down the snake trail to around the middle part of the run and you’ll notice that both sides don’t bend in/out at all and it looks like a small vert ramp. I stayed here as I could just keep my x3 combo up and not have to worry about where my next air was coming from as I knew there was a vert the other side!

Round 3 – Here you have the whole Mega Park to yourself. There’s a total of 3 runs and Danny’s score is already set for yourself to beat. It’s nothing to hard and easy to beat! Just keep getting those big airs and tricks and if you bail just respawn back up at the top. Don’t waste time though as you only get 1 minute per run!

  • Complete both Danny Way OTS Challenges

Garden Rail – You start off on top of a slope. Just push into it and gather speed. Head to the left (follow arrows) and you’ll see the main blue arrow pointing at the Rail. Just before the rail you’ll see a small kicker/slope. Try and get some good air off of this to make yourself land on the rail. So while in mid air pull of some tricks, land in a good grind and trick in/out during this and then ollie/trick out at the end. You’ll need to 900pts to Own It and 1,200 to Kill It.

Danny’s Pool – This is just a simple bowl. The best way to get some major points is to get some good air! When you know you have enough, pump up and ollie off the lip. I’d recommend flip tricking out, into a lateflip grab and then a finger flip and add a good 540 spin to the combo. With something along these lines you should have no problem Owning/Killing It. You’ll need 750pts to Own It and 1,000pts to Kill It.

You'll know when you're at the end as a Quad is the maximum amount of flips you can do, so it will automatically run out! In theory you can actually do this challenge and the one above in one jump on the first ramp if done fast enough. (Now head back up to Gap the Super Mega Bank)
    • Gap the Semi-Super Mega Bank
      • Same as the Super Mega Bank, but this time you need to hit the Right hand side. (Now Respwan)
    • 7,000pt Trick
      • You can get this on the first slope and main jump.I just got over 8,000pts from doing this. Ollie into the slope with a flip trick and into a grab with a 360 spin (x3 Multiplier). Hit the jump and pull out all the stops! Flip trick out, spin, grab finger flip with a late dark catch and land. (Keep to the right)
    • No-Foot the Snake Maw Gap
      • From the 7,000pt trick, head right, do the first jump and follow the dam like trail around to the right. As you make it to the bottom, pump out and head up the vert to the left. Pump up it, and then pump back out! Aim for the main slope and again pump up it! This time you'll most likely have to ollie out as this can be a tricky jump. If done right you should have enough speed to make it! (Now Respwan)
    • Do a Lateflip Dark Catch
      • You can do this on the slope of the first jump. Just get some air and do either a kickflip or heelflip but then hold to Dark Catch it in mid air. Once that is caught, fliptrick out and let go of to land.
    • Make the Final Step-Up
      • From the above keep left! Go around the bank and hit the left ramp. once landed pump out then pump up and you should make the last Step up over the bushes and into the other part of the park!

DLC: San Van Party Pack (Store Link)

There are 9 achievements with a total of 250 points

  • Complete the "Twin Spires" OTS Challenge

Own It - You need to beat a score of 900pts to Own this Spot.
This is just like the 'Modern Manual' challenge but without the grind at the end. Like before, do 3 pushes and head to the small inclined ramp. Get a good ollie and make it over the gap. During your air time do a good flip trick and a grab. You should Own It without any issues.

Kill It - You need to beat a score of 1,200pts to Kill this Spot.
For Killing It, just land in a Manual on the other side and follow the ledge around the corner. When you come to the end do a flip trick out of it with a spin and you should reach the target score!

  • Complete the "Bump Riser" OTS Challenge

Own It - You need to beat a score of 650pts to Own this Spot.
There's multiple ways of doing this Spot. You can either just go up the ramp and knock out some tricks. You can do the transfer or you can try and grind the small vert on top of the vert.

Kill It - You'll need 1,000pts to Kill this Spot.
With a bit of luck and some good air + trick combo's you should be able to get this with no problem. I suggest you try and get some good air and nice tricks within that, then make sure you land on that small bank and grind it for the extra points.

  • Complete the "Over the Rainbow" Photo Challenge

    Own It -

    • Manual Over the Rainbow

One pump at the start then start your Manual. Just line yourself up and hold it for the duration of the arched ledge.
When you've done it, land the Manual and the challenge will be complete.

    Kill It -

    • Nose Manual Revert to Manual Over the Rainbow

Again quite simple if you know what you're doing. Like above, when you are lined up with the arch, push forward slightly on the RS to go into a Nose Manaul.

Once you're on it, swivel the LS in a full circle and this will make you do a Revert. Once thats complete, just balance the rest of the way and you're done!

  • Complete "The Corkscrew" Photo Challenge

    Own It -

    • Double Full Loop

From your spawn, just do 2 pushes. Don't pump out as you gain to much speed and cant turn in when trying to get the second loop.

Just try and follow the blue line as best you can, pump out and up each loop turn and hope you make it. You can also either just stant up right or hold RT or RT+LT to get better balance, but its up to you. It took me a fair few attemps, so good luck.

    Kill It -

    • Double Full Loop... in Fakie

Same as above, but from your spawn and the first pump turn into Fakie stance and go from there.

  • Complete the "Modern Manual" Photo Challenge

    (7)

    Own It -

    • Gap to Manual Across the Ledge

One push at the start should be fine here. Once you made it down the slope aim to the right and try and get yourself through the small snake run.

Once you've made that, you should have enough speed and aim for the Ledge. Get a good Ollie and make it up the Ledge and land it into a Manual. Just hold this all the way until you fall off the end.

    Kill It -

    • Nollie 180 to Manual to the Ledge

A little trickier but can be done after a few tries. Follow the same routine as above but this time make sure you do a Nollie and get a 180 spin into it. You'll have to be fast with your fingers to get the spin in and then hold the the RS down to get the Manual but it can be done with a little practice.

  • OG ABD

    10

Complete the "Gallery Gap Line" Film Challenge

    Own It -

    • Gap the 1st Ledge
    • Gap to Grind the Entire 2nd Ledge

From your spawn, pump twice, pump out of the slope then follow the blue lines on the jump. Ollie straight and you should land on the 1st ledge. A lot of the times I wouln't get the speed right and I'd either miss the ledge, or I'll make it and actually just keep grining it. Once you have though landed on it, follow it around to the right. I'd say you wouldn't need any more speed but if you are going slow a pump wont harm you. Once you've made it around, you'll see the gap and the next ledge you have to grind. Hopefully you'll have enough speed and ollied good to land the grind and make it all the way down the ledge.

    Kill It -

    • Nollie 360 to the 1st Ledge
    • Gap to Manual the Entire 2nd Ledge

A 360 Nollie is simple to do over the gap but the Manual part can get frustrating due to the speed
you're carrying and you may just miss the ledge or even grind it.

  • Complete "The Art of Rail" Film Challenge

    Own It -

    • Grind the 1st Rail
    • Grind the 2nd Rail
    • 180 to Grind down the Final Set

From your spawn, do a single push off and aim for the rail which is right infront of you. Ollie up land the grind and now head to the next rail for the the 2nd grind. It says grind the second but its actually the 3rd rail - the one going up. You'll need to do one more push between landing the first grind and this rail. I also suggest you just fall over the top of the 2nd stair set and then aim for the middle of the 3rd rail. If you ollie the set or grind the 2nd rail you'll be going to fast or land to close to the next rail to actually be able to ollie up onto it.

Once you've done this part, turn a little to the right to hit the last rail. Get a good ollie, do a 180 spin and try and land on the rail for a grind. The achievement will pop after you've landed it.

    Kill It -

    • Crooked the 1st Rail
    • Tailslide the 2nd Rail
    • 180 Nose Grind down the Final Set

Follw the same route and plan as the Own It description but follow the Trick Guide Book to pull off the correct Grinds for each Rail. A Crooked Grind is either the RS in the top right or left corners (depending on stance). A Tailslide is in the motion of a Shove-it. So either push the RS from the bottom to the right or left in a Half Moon movement.

A Nose Grind is pretty simple. Just Ollie and push up on the RS. It'll look like a 5-0 as it's your Tail end down but its still the nose of your board.

  • Complete "The Quintessential Stair" Film Challenge

    Own It -

    • Gap the Stair Set

Two pushes form your spawn and ollie all 5 of the stair sets. Don't do massive ollies as you may land to far and not ollie one of the sets - BUT - if you do, you can actually just get off your board, turn around and head back up, line yourself up and ollie it from its level.

    Kill It -

    • Unique Trick over each Stair Set

Just like above but do a different trick on each stair set. If you repeat any of the tricks it wont count.

  • Complete the "Marraffa's Skatepark" OTL Challenge

    (16)

Tranny Trench - You need to reach the Target Score of 20,000pts to pass this. Like all score challenges and previous DLC Guides. Just find a good solid spot where you can rack up the points and keep the mulitiplier up at x3.

I suggest the spot where you spawn. Just keep launching back and forth between the tranny gaps and you're good to go.

    Raffa's Transfers:

    • Transfer to the Pocket Bowl
    • Transfer the Hip
    • Transfer the Lower Bowl

The only tricky one here is the Lower Bowl Transfer. From your spawn you'll see the Pocket Transfer arrow at the end of the bowl. Ollie into the slope and pump your way towards it. With enough speed and a good ollie you'll make this no problem.

Once you've landed, pump out and head towards the Hip Transfer right infront of you. Agina, with a enough speed, a well timed Ollie you'll make it over.

Now you'll need some good air and speed here. So it all comes down to luck. Just make sure you have a smooth run up to this point, enought speed and you pump out of the Hip Transfer and pump up the slope to the Lower Bowl one.

    Loop Line

    • Rock the Full Loop
    • Transfer Over the Rail
    • 540 Transfer the Rise

The Loop in this is so easy compared to the Photo Challenge it great! From your spawn do one push then ollie into the slope. Pump out then when at the base of the Loop pump into it.

Once you've made the Loop, keep heading straight and you'll see the next slope and the Rail Transfer you have to make. This may take a few times and timing has to be spot on sometimes. If not, you'll fall off your board, not do the transfer or simple land on the Rail itself.

Anyways, once you have made that Rail Transfer, you'll again see the Hip right in front of you. Follow the blue line on the corner and hit it with a little bit of speed (not to much but not to little). Once you get the right lanch, do your 5401 spin. Push one direction with the LS then when you start to slow push the same direction with you RS to get a little boost.

    Grass Trap

    • Grind the Ledge
    • Gap the Grass
    • Manual Revert on the Disc
    • Grind the Ledge over the Grass

This is like a mini OTL and is very simple. You'll see from your spawn the Ledge. Head up to it and Ollie up and Grind its edge.

Once you've landed, you'll notice the Grass Gap right in front of you. With the speed you've gained, Ollie over it.

Now keep heading straight on and you'll notice the angled Disc. Make sure you dont have a massive amount of speed because you need to Ollie onto it and not launch yourself off the end. So, when you do Ollie onto it, land in a Manual and then swivel the LS around in t acircle to pull a Revert.

Once you've landed off the Disc, head back down the slope and head to the right. Line up to ledge up top above the Grass Gap, Ollie off the slope and Grind that little blue line.

    The Midas Touch

    • Grind the Golden Rails

There are a total of 8 Golden Rails you have to Grind in this mini park. All are pointed out to you by a blue arrow, so just skate around the park and pick them off one by one!

    Hipster

    • Fingerflip 360 the Hip

Like always, do a few pumps and ollie into the sloped bank and then head towards the Hip. Once you're all lined up, Transfer the Hip and in mid air pull a 360 and any Grab trick. While holding the Grab, swivel the LS in a full circle to pull off a Fingerflip.

    Ticky Triangles

    • Gap to Grind the Entire Triangle

All you have to do is from you spawn Ollie into the bank and head towards the red bricked Traiangle. You'll then notice at you reach the peak theres a gap and then a rounded concrete Triangle. When you've gotten some good speed, head straight up the middle of the red bricked Triangle and then Ollie. Hopefully you'll stay straight in mid air and land on the curved centre of the concrete one.

Skatepark Gauntlet - This list is revealed in order [12]

    • Gap the Extension
    • Transfer the Stepped Spine
    • Gap Over the Loop
    • Do a 540 Fingerflip
    • Lateflip Over the Golden Mid Rail
    • Transfer the Lower Bowl
    • Grind the Loop
    • Grind the Nub Extension
    • Do a 720
    • Transfer the Shallow Bowl
    • Tailslide the Far Golden Rail
    • 3,500pt Trick
