|Unlock ten Triad Upgrades.|
There are only 10 Traid Upgrades. So you have to reach rank 10 to unlock all Upgrades. You unlock Traid Upgrades by completing Traid related missions. These missions are slightly different than the Cop missions. In Traid missions you start with no points, blank triangles.. The way you level up is highly dependant on how creative you get with your kills. Also there are certain clothing and items that help boost your Traid XP, allowing you to rank up faster.

Same deal as #1 so I'd recommend buying a Triad ensemble for a Triad XP boost so you can get this in one playthrough. Also the Stunning Knee and follow-up KO kick seem (Melee Training, Top tier #1 and #2) to net the most XP points, moreso than environmental kills and the Dim Mak counter.

This achievement honestly is just cheap, its just a way to make them ensure that you have to buy some DLC as otherwise you have to earn every Triad point possible on every level and there are some missions I have tried 10 times over spamming the X X Hold X combo and the follow up kick (which nets the most points) and still not filled the bar up. Street races should have counted towards this, like drug busts did for the cop bar.

I agree with number 6. It is a grab for us to pay for DLC. But it looks like that the DLC that they are putting out is going to suck, or at least the up comming one is. It's more useless stuff that doesn't add to the experiance, and is more cosmetic, i.e cars. One of the packs gives you 8,000Traid, 4,000 cop, 4,000 face experiance bonuses. But it costs around 3$ for the DLC

I found a way to get an infinite amount of triad points in at least one mission.
At the end when you fight Big Smile Lee, when you get the prompt to shove him in the machine. You can pick him up then let go with Y and he'll kick you, counter it for 10 to 15 points, rinse and repeat. I got like 3k points on that mission alone.
Hope that helps!

#12 is right the mountain triad outfit or whatever gives 15% more triad exp with that on redo missions you did poorly on and blow cars up as opposed to shooting out tires, focus on head shots and leg breaks and you should be able to get this fairly easy

This one is taking me forever, really don't know the reason, I've completed the game and still didn't get it, looks like I'm stuck on level 9, in the middle of the red bar and already repeated the Civil Discord mission like 5 times (for example), and also wearing the 15% triad bonus outfits. So weird...

the game only counts your best score on each level, try replaying levels you did poorly on instead of redoing the same mission over and over

I kinda figured it out
1: Environment kill
2. Disarm (there's a stage where you will be chased by police before Jiang picks you up, keep disarming thoae policemen)
3. Tire shot
4. Destroy vehicle (especially in funeral)
5. Headshots. Avoid using grenade launchers.

Just got this achievement. Basically all I did was equip the clothes that make up the Mountain Triad outfit, and replayed all the missions from the beginning (because I had a really low score on them). I started on level 9 1/2, and after doing all that got up to 10 by about 1/3 the way through. Really isn't too hard, if you have questions pm me :)

@Hawk1701. I am trying your method right now. I found that once you press Y to let him go, quickly turn your back, then counter his move. You get 2 lots of Triad points. Hoping this works. Don't particularly want to waste msp on dlc I don't need as this is my last achievement. Will get back with an update if this does indeed work.

Well I gave it a try and spent a good 40 minutes grinding out xp. And after all that, my xp bar increased less than 1mm. Looks like I'm going to have to work on some missions again when I can be bothered. Not many I can actually improve on though. The relevant clothing does not make much difference.

I struggled with this achievement, especially because my game somehow became glitched and replaying missions reset my game progress.
If any of you have any of the DLC for the game, the DLC "Triad Enforcer Pack" comes with a mission called "Death by a Thousand Cuts". You can spam this mission over and over and it will continue to provide you with experience (I was at level 9.5 and I played this mission about 10 times and got to level 10...the mission takes maybe 2 minutes per play through). I assume this strategy would work for other DLC related missions, like "Martial Arts Pack"'s "Shaolin Showdown" mission.

I got this achievement with relative ease and I never replayed a mission. I'm not a super gamer and this game isn't hard at all. This is doable without spending money on the DLC.
Here's what you do.
1) You do as well as you can in all the triad missions and get atleast 2 triangles or more in Triad points. This ain't too hard to do and you can replay any mission you did poorly in. Get a flow for combat, toy with the enemy and rack up as much points as you can, only killing them with an environmental kill when you think they are about to croak.
2) Boost up your face value until you can equip the mountain triad 15 percent clothing pack. That means you should have been doing favors the minute they unlock until they go away and all you've left is the missions to do. For me,

Seriously, nevermind any DLCs or tricks for grinding infinite XP out of single missions. You only need a little more than two and a half red triangles average per mission and this does not take a lot of effort, it was actually fun playing through the early missions again after unlocking more moves and learning how to use them.
My basic tips:
- Some missions will add only a minimal chunk to your triad XP bar per triangle because of the low total XP, others make a huge difference - absolutely redo the big battles at the wedding, the hospital and the funeral unless you have maxed them out yet.
- When shooting people, focus on headshots and explosive kills, disarm enemies behind their cover, kick them when they come close - melee while holding a gun can get you lots of additional points.

- During brawls, the pattern "counter -> grab -> break leg -> heavy kick" seemed to be the most effective to me.
- When chasing cars, first shoot the people in them, then the tyres. Otherwise you waste too many points e.g. in the mission where you do your first job for Roland.
- In general, be inefficient at accomplishing your mission goal to get the most points out of it, but make sure that nobody gets away, i.e. beat up all the monks in "Bride to be" although you don't have to... etc.
- And of course don't forget your mountain triad clothes, go shopping in Kennedy Town if you don't have them.

I've got at least 2 triangles filled in for each one, and I'm only about a quarter through level 9. Can't seem to get any higher than that. Even with the 15% bonus clothing.

When working on hand to hand combat make sure use the LT + A move from the Triad upgrades which allows you to flip over enemies. The reason you want to use this is to make some time before you do your next Dim Mak and you get the 30 instead of it going down. The amount you get only decreases when you do it too quickly, not over and over.

Yeah - at first I was definitely daunted by this. Last achievement I got. I was barely level 9 despite doing very well doing the first run-through and subsequent collectible/medal runs of the missions. I hadn't used the clothes but it didn't seem to change much when I did. I really didn't want to spend the money for the XP - but I did consider caving a few times haha.
But I'm glad I didn't, because honestly it wasn't that hard.
The key is to replay the missions with the highest score caps.
What I did was go through and pick the missions that had the biggest difference between what I *did* earn, and what I *could* have earned. Once I did this it really only took 3 mission replays.
For me "Big Smile Lee", "Buried Alive", and ultimately "Meet The New Boss" with maybe a bit of "Inten

sive Care" that provided the remedy - but it may be different for you depending on how well you did on which missions already.
Basically any missions that you have 2.0 Triangles or less in, with a score of about 1,000 or more, is a good ballpark bet that you can milk a lot more out of that mission. "The Election", "Civil Discord", "Final Kill", and maybe "Payback" and "Club Bam Bam" along with "The Wedding" and "The Funeral" might be worth a revisit. They can potentially give you as much Triad XP as 2-4+ other missions combined, depending on how little you obtained the first time around.
The best tactics for gaining XP I used we're as follows:
Either the Combo mentioned by #33 esp. on larger Thugs
the X, X, HOLD X, X Stun +Follow-Up Combo (or any stun + follow-up) es

p. on weaker enemies
The X, HOLD X leg sweep over and over which counts as a heavy attack against large Grapplers.
Otherwise just counter enemies with weapons and try hard to get stuns and follow ups in.
This is where I think most the points came from. All of this is assuming you have pretty much every other upgrade available by the end of the game
Pick your opening and run up to enemies and HOLD B to disarm them.
Do NOT do the leap over an obstacle because that kills them.
Hold LT as you disarm the enemy to enter slow-mo.
At this point pull of a headshot, rinse and repeat.
You should do this ALL the time for EVERY enemy with a gun, headshots alone aren't always enough - even for large scary large groups - just rush in.

e other enemies will cease-fire.
The trick is to use that to your advantage and try to chain together disarms and headshots for a lot of points while within that grace peroid. This might take a bit of practice and luck sometimes, but there are things you can do to make it easier.
Try to wait in cover until you're sure you're ready to make your move.
Pop out of cover a bit or blindfire to make enemies shoot, cover long distances while they are reloading.
And the best thing you can do is attack a group of enemies that are close together, you can generally grapple from enemy to enemy, pulling off a slow-mo headshot on each, without being hit during the grace peroid.
Alternately, esp. if faced with a large group, you can farm massive amounts of points just by disarming the enemies

WITHOUT killing them.
Disarmed enemies will often attempt to retrieve a firearm from the ground, allowing you to farm disarm after disarm with relative safety. I find it's worth using the slow-mo here too, even if just for target allocation and such.
Headshots if possible
Kill ALL passengers if possible
Pop the tire after killing driver, the pop the other tires while it's airborne
If possible continue shooting (near the front seems to help) to destroy the vehicle
The 'mini uzi' type of assault smg is great for exploding vehicles and the more points you can milk out of each, quickly, is vital to your success.

It is funny that this is worth the same number of points as the Cop one, and way less than maxing out Face levels, which are easily unlocked just by playing through the game. On the plus side, having to replay missions makes it a lot easier to get a bunch of the gold stat awards.
