Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Achievements

Complete 12 levels with the highest rank in Hard mode

The highest rank is a platinum ranking. The ranks go bronze, silver, gold, then platinum. Platinum is the more whitish medal that you earn, and it can only be earned on hard mode. There are 3 categories the game bases your level rank on, which is combo rating, emblems collected, and clear time. The spider rank is based off of those three, and the only way to get a platinum for the whole level is to get platinum in all 3 seperate ratings. Luckily, the game saves your best stats so you do not have to get all platinums in one run of the level, you can seperte them. I suggest going for combos/emblems on a seperate run than clear time. There are 13 levels you can get platinum rankings on (because of the Mysterio boss stage). This means you only have to get 12 of the 13 levels done with platinum rank.

Combo Rating: To get this really easily, you'll want to go for the rankings after you have the 8 legged fury combo move. Hold to launch certain enemies into the air, then press . Also try to chain your combos to all enemies. All minimum scores are set to 19,000 points for every level. You can skip as many enemies as you want while going for this.

Emblems Collection: Use your Spider Sense as you play the entire level. Press to go into this mode. The emblems will be highlighted in a gold hue, and you will be able to see them through walls even. Just collect as many as you can to get a platinum, as not all are required for platinum (check the amount in the list below which is the minimum requirement).

Clear Time: The clear time is the tougher of the rankings, as boss battles can sometimes take longer than expected if you don't do them perfectly. If it seems like you can pass through an area without killing enemies, do it. If you fight against a boss for a good amount of time, but die, just quit out and then continue again to erase the time you just wasted.

Kraven: 19,000 Combo - 35 Emblems - 20:00 Clear

Hammerhead: 19,000 Combo - 20 Emblems - 25:00 Clear

Hobgoblin: 19,000 Combo - 25 Emblems - 20:00 Clear

Electro: 19,000 Combo - 45 Emblems - 20:00 Clear

Sandman: 19,000 Combo - 50 Emblems - 25:00 Clear

Vulture: 19,000 Combo - 30 Emblems - 35 :00 Clear

Scorpion: 19,000 Combo - 60 Emblems - 30:00 Clear

Deadpool: 19,000 Combo - 105 Emblems - 35:00 Clear

Juggernaught: 19,000 Combo - 60 Emblems - 35:00 Clear

Goblin: 19,000Combo - 20 Emblems - 35:00 Clear

Doctor Octopus: 19,000 Combo - 45 Emblems - 35:00 Clear

Carnage: 19,000 Combo - 45 Emblems - 35:00 Clear

Mysterio: 19,000 Combo - 12 Emblems - 20:00 Clear

Tell me somebody how to earn combo rating, isn't it just experience that you get from enemies?

I think it has to do with how high you get your combo multiplier during the fights. That's why the "Eight Legged Spider" combo is great for this. Hit Y to launch them in the air, then X, X, Y, X, X. It'll net about a 12x combo and you have enough time to run to another enemy and get it again.

Credit to the achievement guide for this one.

Alright, the combo rating is not based on the number of hits in a combo. I think it is based on the number of combos you perform AND the different types of combos you perform.

I have long wondered how to do to deal with this achievement. I did it yesterday and found that it is not the number of hits you get per combo. The variation in the number of combos you perform is the one that counts.
I passed all the levels without any problems until I got to Noir-levels, where I stumbled total. But I realized that if you attack the enemies that you will do a takedown on you can perform some web-attacks. These increase the number of combos. I also think if you die during the game round, your combos will be registered until you complete the level. But I'm not entirely sure if this is true. I died several times during my round of the game but I still took my achievement.

I also had a note on the table in front of me with the most attacks that are in the game so I could

the best way to do it is to go for the time medal first, bypass as much as the enemies as you by just swing straight over them, or if its saving people then do that first if u can by knocking enemies away (Juggernaught level for example) of defeating them quickly. this way u will find yourself with a comfortable 10 minutes or more to do the bosses, and if it gets a little too close for comfort simply quit the game and continue and it will start you off at the time you entered that checkpoint.
collections can be done on a different run which is quite easy anyway but be careful when defeating enemies not to trigger a cut-scene which moves you to a different section, try and leave a weak opponent standing to give you a chance to check but other than that its pretty straight forward. I hope

The Medals aren't the problem for me. The problem is juggernaut's level. When its on hard, his boss battle's take longer, the enemies are ganging on you and the level is a complete pain! Can anyone help me out?

The 3 toughest levels for Platinum medals are:
Doctor Octopus

If you can Platinum 2 of those levels, forget the other one. Just beat it on Hard once for the "beat all levels on Hard" achievement. The rest of the levels are easy compared to those 3.

Achievement difficulty 6.5/10

Doc Ock's level is easy and only takes about 13 mins. you barely have to fight at all. as soon as you enter 1 of the 4 main areas forget fighting and just pull the plug (unless going for combo rating)

Mysterios level is also easy and shouldnt take longer than 15 minutes. it's possible to platinum his level in one try as long as you dont use rage when in ultimate form on that level (helps with combo rating not to use it)

This is the last achievement I don't have.
I just need one more level for this.
Vulture, Goblin, Ock, and Carnage are killing me, with only gold for time (actually, silver for time on Goblin-- takes me forever to complete that level).

Have top honors for the rest, including Mysterio.

@Gabriel Macedo

if you mean electro i would go with him cause his enemies are very easy to kill, and try all sorts of moves like the jump+Y, all the B+X, B+Y, B+B, button bash combos
also dont stress your self out trying to get the combo rating and the clear time, they save so you can get them separately
