Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Achievements

Sith Master

Complete Game - Sith Master difficulty. Do not change the difficulty after the game has started.

Sith Master will unlock after you beat the game for the first time on any difficulty level. The difficulty achievements are stackable as well. This means that if you beat the game on Sith Master, you’ll get credit for beating it on Sith Lord, Sith Warrior and Apprentice. Last, you MUST begin a new game in order to get credit for beating the game at a higher difficulty. The reason for this is that when you continue the game you don’t play the prologue and thus don’t complete the entire game on that higher difficulty setting.

Overall, the Sith Master difficulty is not too difficult if you follow these tips:

  • Don’t use this playthrough to try and collect all the Holocrons, use the Apprentice playthrough for that. Only collect the ones that will benefit your character and fighting style.
  • Force lightning is your best weapon. It allows you to do damage from a distance and thus stay away from your attackers.
  • Force Grip can also be handy, especially if there is a cliff nearby. Throwing enemies off cliffs is an automatic kill and also gives you a “long way down” bonus.
  • Be patient! Charging into battle like you’re on apprentice difficulty is a good way to get yourself killed.
  • You don’t have to fight every enemy. Many parts of each level allow you to simply skip major battles. The three rancor battle on Felucia is a good example of this.
  • Force Repulse usually opens doorways better than force push. This is especially useful in the beginning of the Death Star level.
  • X IUHoosierFan has started a thread that discusses boss strategies. It can be found by clicking HERE.

Just to reiterate, when going from one difficulty to another, your talents, powers and combos WILL NOT carry over. You need to start a brand new game, hence the aforementioned collecting only holocrons which you really need.

A tip for the convergence chamber... SKIP MOST OF IT!! If you jump down by the panel that you push to activate the lift, you can quickly force it back and jump to the lift without getting shot by the AT-STs. Then ride the lift up and jump to the area where the guards come out. After the cut-scene, jump on the lift and ride it up to a ledge above the circular door that the guards just came out of and grab the invincibility holocron. Fall down and start turning the lever. When it runs out grab the next holocron and continue turning when you get a chance. I liked to run out on the platform, where they would chase me and then dash back to the door and turn for a few seconds. The other holocron is there for health. When you get it open, dash through. I really hope this is helpful to some of you

The game cannot be saved when non-costume codes are enabled. To bypass this, enable the code on a level that has an auto-save point. After reaching that location, intentionally die or press Start. Exit to the main menu then select "Continue". You can now manually save the game with that code still active.

@ Dante
I beat it twice on apprentice going for kill achvs, then beat it on master and got the other 2 achvs in between, so if you beat it on master first i believe you would get all 4.

and a piece of advice is to be as cheap as possible.
literally the last thing you want to do is run up and lightsaber.

if you can stay back and hit them 200 times with the lightning to kill them, do it.
it's boring and lame but it gets the game done.

Tips for Vader as the final boss:

-Be ready to jam the X button right off the bat. This will usually initiate a clash.
Win that then immediately dash after him. You'll have enough time to take perform a Sith Saber Smash combo before you have to block.
-From here begin using Force Push. This mildly stuns him when used in quick succession. You'll have just enough time to begin another Sith Saber Smash combo while he's knocked back by the Force Push. Repeat this strategy every time he gets up.
-Don't put too much room in between the two of you. He's likely to Force Grip you, which is difficult to overcome.
-When in doubt, block. Lightning Shield helps for damage mitigation.

I had some trouble with him until I started the Force Push strategy. It still took me a few tries, but it wo

I just got this ach after a week of crazy frustration. Honestly,
this is one of the hardest games I have ever played. It's not just
slash and go, you really have to have skill and strategize. Here are
some tips for you guys trying to get it.

1- The most important asset you have is your speed. I didn't realize this
at first but starkiller is one fast mofo. When things get crazy, double jump
and dash. Also, use your speed advantage on the big enemies such as the rancors
at-st and those big storm trooper metal guys that shoot those missles. They
really can't touch you when you are running circles around them.

2- After your speed, force grip is your best friend. For a lot of the enemies,
FG takes them out with one shot. Make sure you master this skill. What I ended
up doing wa

What I ended
up doing was FGing someone and slamming them on the floor really fast. So I would
FG them, flick RS just a bit up then slam them on the floor. This helped a lot
because it would kill them faster and thus you get health a lot faster which is

3- Next best thing is lightning. I only used this on the big enemies. Like many
have stated above, you HAVE to be cheap. With rancors for example, i would zap
them till my energy was depleted then run away and let it charge and then come
back and do it till they're dead.

4 - and the last piece of advice is that when you are in a room where you can
FG someone and throw them off a platform cliff etc, do it. This is an auto kill
for anything you can fg AND it gets you the long way down bonus. I prob killed

Basically run through the game, buy as many combos as you want but I recommend getting Force Dash as fast as possible (electric ones are very useful against bosses like Proxy)

Emperor is easier, keep away n try n return his electricity, then hide if hes throwing anything

I think some of you are overreacting a little. This is definitely not my hardest achievement ever, or the most time consuming. I just started a new game on Sith Master yesterday and within 3 hours of gameplay I'm already half way through the campaign. Every boss has their weaknesses, just do what the guide says to and you'll be fine.

it'll put you off to what can be a great game. Tip: for the big dark troopers
that take forever to kill, (if you don't know the ones they're the guys who
make just about every gamer ragequit at the skyhook.) Force Lightning them
to stun, get in and out quickly, rinse and repeat.

Alright, so just for a quick tip for anyone who's having trouble with the sith lady on imperial ferucia. After that whore of a fight with the bull rancor you'll end up dropping down to fight her head on. What you can do contrary to the original person's pretty great guide which can be found here is actually surprisingly simple, once she gets the small blue brackets around her 9 times outta 10 you can force grip her & slam her against the wall, then run over to her & stab her on the ground for massive damage. After I realized that it took me twice to beat her as opposed to the 50 or some tries a different way.

Wednesday, June 18, 2014 @ 11:38:21 PM

don't listen to what the guide says. you have to get all the holocrons because every time you find all the holocrons in a level you are awarded with a force upgrade point. force upgrades are key to dominating your enemies. if you do go for all the holocrons like I said, by the time you get to the emperor or darth vader at the final mission, you will have all your powers at max and ready for combat. one more thing, when you get to the last part of the game, choose the dark side ending and battle vader because he's easier. the first time i tried this i was stupid and fought the emperor and it took me forever to beat him. but then again, if you beat the emperor on this difficulty that just means you are a true sith master

I've activated all the non-costume codes. Hope it doesn't stop me getting the achievement. The only other alternative is to overwrite the save in the #1 slot and start over with an edited save.

That said, I keep getting swarmed by the teleporting junk-droids on Raxus Prime. Damnable nuisance.

Sunday, May 03, 2015 @ 03:40:20 AM

Just to reiterate what everyone above says, this is HARD. And it's like a Treyarch COD on Veteran - it's not hard because it requires any semblance of skill or strategy, but because they just made it stupid.

Your lightsaber is pretty much literally useless, and almost every enemy in the game is capable of either oneshotting you or hitting you once which leads to an unblockable juggle combo, effectively oneshotting you.

Boss attacks can be neither blocked nor dodged, and beating them is literally luck and dozens of attempts. Basically you're just waiting for the game to take pity on you and not instagib you for long enough to chip away their health one unnoticeably small fraction at a time. For example, when battling Kazdan Paratus, the ONLY way to do it is the lightning/grip techn

technique, and even that takes about 50 perfect executions to remove a third of his life, at which point you get to deal with a junk titan that also oneshots you 80% of the time. If you manage to get rid of him, Kazdan throws things at you. They are unblockable and can be dodged maybe 10% of the time, take off over a third of your health, and he throws at least 5. Do the math. You get to retry...LOTS.

So, don't expect to get this 100G by having anything you do actually matter during the attempt. This is 100% patience and repetition. There is no skill, strategy, timing, or much of anything else involved. It's just stupid. Be prepared, and don't put the controller through the TV.

Oh, and get ALL of the holocrons. Upgrades are your friend, and tip the randomness slightly in you

Hey guys,

I just started a new game on sith master difficulty and I must say, it's quite hard even if you know the game.
I guess, besides this strategy guide, one key is to collect holocrons to level up your force talents.
Yesterday I stuck at Kazdan Paratus. He is a very hard piece of work. So I decided to go back to the Tie Fighter Factory and gain EP and train my force talent skills. Hope switching levels (and don't change the difficulty) doesn't cancel this achievement?

I don't get what everyone is complaining about. Sure there are tough sections (like Kazdan Paratus (although short zap of lightning then grip and push (cannonball) works wonders with him)), but if you ignore the guide and get all the holocrons, fight as many guys as you can, vary your attacks, and if you embrace the struggles that you encounter, it's not that hard. Every time you die, you retain the "XP" from kills before you died (so say you get to a section where you kill 10 guys then die facing the 11th, and then have to fight thru the 10 guys again, and die at the 11th again, then fight thru a third time, killing the 11th, instead of 11 kills, you'll have 31, getting you that much closer to a level-up). There were areas where I ended up leveling up not once, buy twice while trying t

Alcatraz513, you can repeat the first mission to increase your level. But, you'll still need to finish the game afterwards.
Though, I would not suggest that strategy. The first level enemies aren't very difficult, and you don't get many FPs from them. Instead, I would progress through the game, get all the holocrons, and complete all the bonus objectives for rewards. For instance, on junk-world (Level2), at the beginning of the game, kill the 2 flying skiffs, kill yourself. repeat. when you hit 10 skiffs, you get a upgrade bonus.
Also, upgrade wisely: grip and lightning; life bonuses, etc.

If you get stuck, sure replay Level1 to get stronger. But, if you follow my suggestion, you should be fine. You'll probably just

So I heard this game was backwards compatible and decided to go back and play it and try for all the achievements. I played this game a lot as a kid and I nearly perfected it on my old account. I had to start completely over, including buying another copy of the game for $19.99, which I had no problem with. It took me about 3 days to get all of the base game achievements (No DLC's) so this game is great for a fun and easy 1000G. The worst part about it is that if you're going for a completion, you have to pay an additional $9.99 for the Tatooine Mission Pack and $9.99 for the Jedi Temple Mission Pack. That's a total of about $20 for just 345 more Gamerscore. Needless to say I will still be buying the Mission Packs for the completion.

As an old pro, I flew through the game on Sith Master in about 4 hours. You shouldn't have any problem getting through the missions but the bosses might be a bit tricky. By far the most difficult boss is in the 2nd mission (Raxus Prime) because of his unblockable and undodgable force push move. The rest should be easy up until you fight Marris Brood and her Bull Rancor; during the Rancor fight Marris will occasionally pop in for a visit with her lightsaber throw move; after the rancor is dead you must also fight Marris herself and she has similar weaknesses to her former master, Shaak Ti. Vader as he can continually pick u up and chuck you across the room and he has 3-4 fighting sections depending on if you choose the light or dark ending. Speaking of the end game choice, I went with the dark side ending for my playthrough because Vader doesn't summon additional enemies for help and he doesn't have any invincibility sections so if you're good enough you can kill Vader without him getting off the ground. As for The Emperor fight, he can summon his guards to come fight for him for a bit which is quite annoying because there are usually around 6 guys throwing/swinging lightsabers at you while also doing intricate force move on you, but if you can take them, you can use them so siphon health if you have your Vitality Talent upgraded. You can either wait behind one of the large blocks in the arena or you can use dash with a dashing blast combo to get some extra speed/ distance.
