Introduction:
Welcome to Super Street Fighter IV, one of the best fighting games available on the Xbox360. For those who have played Street Fighter IV, most of these achievements are the same, with some new ones tossed in for the new online modes. The difficulty and time required to 1000gs this game is dependent on your personal skill. You can easily acquire around 700-800gs regardless of your skill, but the individual trials take some skill to pull off.

Step One: Arcade Mode
You may want to start with Arcade mode first, as it will net you alot of points as you progress. If you are going for the Entitled Achievement (unlock all titles), you may want to start on the Hardest difficulty, since you will unlock a red title for each character by completing Arcade on hardest. If you choose to do it on Medium, then you will only unlock the Blue titles for each character you beat arcade with, and you will have to go back later and beat it again with all 35 characters on hardest to acquire the red titles.

Gouken run: To get the "Long Time No See" Achievement, you have to beat Gouken on Arcade Hardest difficulty. The requirements to face him are thus (if set to 1 round matches which is preferable):

  • One perfect round
  • 3 Ultra Combo Finishes
  • 5 First Attacks
  • No continues
  • Can not lose a round

Easiest method for this is to use Zangief and his spinning Lariat (LB), try to knock out your Perfect round early, then focus on your Ultra Combo finishes, and try to get the first hit in as often as you can. If you run into trouble, keep a second controller handy, and press start, that way you can jump right back in and not lose your progress. If you beat Gouken in one of your first playthroughs, you will get the Long Time No See Achievement, as well as Herculean Effort, Clear Headed and Hard Times

You will need to clear arcade mode with ALL 35 Characters to get the All Clear achievement. If you are doing it on hardest and/or you are having difficulty getting through Arcade mode, you can start your playthrough with the character you want to beat it with, and when you lose (even if its the first match), switch to Zangief, then when you face your rival, Abel, lose and switch back to your original character, then beat your rival and then Seth, the final boss. For the Speed Freak achievement, it only has to be an average of 20 seconds, so if you beat the earlier characters in 15-20 seconds, it will give you more leeway when fighting Seth.

Step 2: Cleaning up Single Player
Once you have gotten the "All Clear" achievement, you can go back and get Rival Schooled by beating Arcade again with the 6 characters who have alternate rivals, except you only have to do it on Medium this time. To get these battles, you have to press all 3 punch buttons or all 3 kick buttons during the "Now, Fight your rival!!" screen for these characters:

Ryu: Ken (3P), Sagat(3K)
Seth: Hakan (3P), Abel (3K)
Chun-Li: Juri (3P), C.Viper (3K)
C.Viper: Hakan (3P), Chun-Li (3K)
Cammy: Juri (3P), C.Viper (3K)
Guile: Bison (3P), Abel (3K)

If you didnt press anything during your first run through, The "default" rivals are in bold

Also during your Arcade run-through, you should get the achievements for 100 Special moves (Special Movement), 100 EX Moves (EXtra! EXtra!!) 100 focus attacks (It Takes Focus), 100 Super Moves (Super, man!), and 100 Ultra Moves (Ultra, man!). If not, you can easily boost them in single player versus, or by doing Trials (NOT training).. You can also go and complete the Oh My Car and Barrel of Laughs under the Challenge mode menu. For the car, simply beat up one side of the car until it wont break apart, then switch sides until it is done. For the Barrels, you can either use Zangief's spinning lariat, or Dhalsim's punch works great too.

To get Superior Super (50 Super Finishes), the quickest method i found was to do a versus match (best of 7, 100% health each) with a second controller, i used Gouken, let the second controller beat up your character until he is dizzy, then use the first controller to beat up the second player until they are about 10% health, and your Super gauge should be almost charged, then do special moves that do not hit the opponent to charge it up fully (i used goukens HP fireball). Once your Super gauge is full, simply finish the 2nd player off with a super, rinse and repeat. With Best of 7, you have to win 4 rounds, so you can get 4 Supers in about 10 minutes. For Ultimate Ultra (50 Ultra Combo finishes), do the same method, except finish him off with the Ultra instead of the Super. You can also boost Absolute Perfection by playing versus and set your second controller to 0% handicap (one hit kill).

To Unlock Fashion Plate (All Colors), and Dan the Man (All Taunts), you need to unlock ALL colors and Taunts for ALL 35 Characters. . If you have played through Arcade on Hardest difficulty with all characters, you should be most of the way there by now. Each character has 10 colors and 10 taunts, and they start out with 2 and 1, so you only need to unlock 8 and 9 for each character. You unlock them by playing a match with that character, it can be Arcade, Versus, or Online. The colors and taunts rotate, so first you will unlock color #3, then taunt #3, then color #4 and so on. You can quit versus matches against the CPU to unlock these.

Step 3: Trials
Trials are probably the hardest portion of these achievements, since some people find most of the later trials to be very difficult. Unfortunately, you unlock icons and titles via trials, so if you can not complete them, then you will be missing out on 150GS (Entitled, Iconosclast, Trial Athlete). Some trials require little tricks such as FADC or powering up, which arent mentioned in the list. If you have trouble, you can search for individual character trials on youtube, there are many of them on there. For one of the easiest characters trials, to get theTrail of Trials Achievement, try either Hakan or T.Hawk.

Step 4: Online
The Bulk of the achievements are only obtainable online. Fortunately, they are easily boostable, even the Ranked matches.

There are currently 3 modes online: Ranked, Team Battle and Endless Battle. Team and Endless are essentially player matches, and you can set them up however you wish. For the 3/5/10 ranked matches in a row (Threepeat, Fivepeat, Tenpeat), get a boosting partner, and have them set up a ranked match that is 1 round 60 sec. Then, simply search using 1 round 60 sec until you find his lobby, join, and beat him. You have to start it over again after each match however.

Ranking up Characters
Each character has their own individual rank, based on "Battle Points." Each win counts for 50 Battle points, and for the most part, you do not lose BP after a loss. (you can lose some, but its minimal and depends on who you lose to). To get your character to level C, you will need 1000 points, or about 20 wins. You can try for this legit, or by boosting using the method above, as BP is only accumulated in Rank matches. This will net you Movin on Up, Now you C Me, and From C to Shining C (last one is once all 35 characters are leve C).

Team Battle/Endless Battle
These two modes are not ranked, and can be boosted easily. For Endless Battle, simply set it to 2 players, and set one slot as private, and invite your boosting partner. You can get Keep on Truckin, Three for the Road, and Endless Ten this way (win 1/3/10 in a row).

For Team Battle, set it to 2v2, and set private slots to 3, and invite your boosting partner. For the Team Battle win achievements, you have to WIN the battle AND actually fight and win one match yourself. If you set it up this way, then it will be 1v1, and you are guaranteed to fight during the battle. This will get you Team Player, Teamworker, and Teammate.

For the Replayer achievement, simply go to player data, Replay Channel, and the pick a channel to watch. It will automatically cycle through matches, so you can go do something else while the replays are playing, and the achievement will pop after 30 replays.

To get the Endless and Team Lobbyist achievements, you have to host 30 DIFFERENT lobbies for each gametype, and you must play at least one match in them. Quickest way is to get a boosting partner, set up the lobbies like i described above, set it to 1 round, play it, back out and start it up again.

Last Online achievements are winning/playing xxx number of online matches, you will get this over time, and if you havent unlocked them by now, you can boost them as described above. For Quarter Up, where you have to play 30 Ranked matches via fight request, simply start an Arcade playthrough, and make sure Fight Request is turned on, and you will get this after you have fought 30 people.

That about sums it up for SSFIV. These are the quickest way I've found of getting these achievements. Most of the achievements are simple enough to get, although the last 150-200 points will be dependent on your skill in the Trials. I will post links on how to unlock the titles and icons once they become available.

Rival Schooled20
See your future by clearing every Rival Battle on Medium or higher with every character. (1)

After getting the "All Clear" achievement, go back and play Arcade mode on medium or higher with the 6 characters who have alternate rivals: Ryu, Seth, Chun-Li, C.Viper, Cammy, Guile. To fight the alternate rivals, hold down all 3 Kick buttons. Also, if you didnt press any buttons the first time through, then you will automatically fight the alternate the second time through if you dont press any buttons.

Speed Freak30
Finish each round in Arcade Mode on Medium or higher in 20 seconds or less. Too easy. (1)

Play Arcade mode on Medium or higher, and it is an average of 20 seconds or less. So the quicker you defeat the early characters, the more leeway you will have with the later ones and Seth. Akuma and Gouken are bonus characters and do not count towards this achievement.

Good Start10
All of nature must withstand a trial. You must clear 10 trials in Trial Mode to succeed.

Under "Challenges," select "Trials," and simply complete any 10 challenges for this achievement. They do not have to be specific to any character or consecutive, just 10 total trials.

Long Time No See50
Do you wish for defeat? If so, complete Arcade Mode on Hardest difficulty and beat Gouken!

For this achievement, you must play Arcade Mode on Hardest difficulty, you can not lose a single round or use a continue, set it to 1 round matches, and then you must get 1 perfect round, 3 Super/Ultra Combo Finishes, and 5 first Attacks. Keep a second controller ready incase you think you will not be able to meet one of the requirements during a match. Easiest character to do this with is Zangief.

All Clear10
To get strong takes lots of fighting! Clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher with all characters!

Must clear with ALL 35 characters on Medium or higher. If you have trouble, start Arcade with the character you wish to beat it with, play until you lose, switch to Zangief and beat opponents until you fight your rival, Abel, lose and then switch back to your original character and beat your rival and the final boss, Seth.

Herculean Effort10
Can you finish Arcade Mode on Medium or higher without using a continue? Show me you can!

Beat Arcade mode on Medium or higher without losing a match. If you havent been able to do it with Zangief and you feel as though you are about to lose a match, have a second controller handy, and press start, and you will interrupt the match to play a versus match. Beat your second controller character, and resume Arcade mode without having to use a continue.

Hard Times20
To escape death is to beat the strongest of the strong. Finish Arcade Mode on Hardest, kid!

Same as "All Clear," except you must beat it on hardest difficulty. Use Zangief if you are having trouble.

It Begins10
The fight starts here! Set your Title and Icon, and begin fighting on Xbox Live! (1)

From the Main menu, press  to bring up your personal info, then press  or  to set your Title and Icon.

First Timer10
I'll never forget my first time for Ryu's sake! Win one Ranked Match! Gotta aim for the top!

See "Tenpeat"

Threepeat20
You think being this good is easy? Let's see you win 3 Ranked Matches in a row, champ!

See "Tenpeat"

Barrel of Laughs10
No need for barrels without oil! Score 110,000 points or more in the Barrel Buster bonus stage! (1)

Similar to Car Crusher, except you must destroy all the Barrels. Zangief's Lariat and Dhalsim's punch work pretty well.

Trail of Trials20
There is no shortcut in the art of Yoga. Aim to clear any character's Trial Mode trials!

You must complete ALL 24 Trials for one character for this Achievement. The easiest character for this are T.Hawk or Hakan.

Trial Athlete50
I shall assimilate all and be all-powerful! Clear all Trial Mode challenges, and so can you! (2)

This is by far the most frustrating achievement of the game. You must complete all 24 challenges within each of the 35 characters trials. Even veteran players have trouble doing some of the trials so don't expect this to come easy.

Tips:

  • Whenever you're feeling tired from doing the other trophies, try to do some challenges for each character until you feel as if you can no longer do them anymore and come back to it later after you have played the game some more. You will come back to see some of the trials aren't as hard as they used to be ... but still very difficult nonetheless in the later trials
  • Some people suggest pausing in between frames to help you, do not listen to them, these Trials are better done in real time
  • Some trials can only be done in the corner, so if a trial doesn't work try pushing Dan into the corner and see if you obtain better results
  • Use youtube as a good source for viewing other people complete these trials to visually see what you must do for some of the harder levels of each characters trials
Oh! My Car!10
Hee hee, destruction is so much fun! Score 80,000 points or more in the Car Crusher bonus stage! (2)

To unlock the Car Crusher bonus stage you must defeat Arcade mode (on any difficulty). For the Car Crusher bonus stage you must destroy a car within 1 minute by attacking the sides of the car. You must attack it repeatedly from the left side until it does no more damage to the car and then you must jump to the other side and do the same there and then back to the left to finish the job. Most beginners have trouble with this trophy but here's an easy method to completing it:

Pick Blanka and repeatedly use his Hard Electric Thunder Move ( repeatedly) this will cause Blanka to sit down and shoot out rapid streams of lighting from his body, doing it with  is the stronger and fastest variation of the move and can easily destroy the car within 20 seconds of the bonus stage.

Clear Headed10
Hey! Got time to kill? Try to clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher! That's all you gotta do!

Please refer to "All Clear" for more information.

Iconoclast50
Oh my gosh, those Icons are so adorable! I gotta find Don-chan and catch 'em all!

To unlock titles and icons you must meet certain requirements within the offline and online modes of the game.

Special Movement10
Do a Special Move 100 times! If you're a true student of the Rindo-kan dojo, it's your duty!

Special moves are moves like Hadoken or Shoryuken, these moves require an EX meter or Ultra meter. This achievement will probably unlock easily over time. This achievement is accumulative from the times you use it in Arcade, Versus and Online Mode.

Example of a Special Move input: Hadoken ( ,  , )

EXtra! EXtra!10
Battle requires courage! Train by using your EX Gauge to successfully land 100 EX Moves!

EX moves are stronger versions of Special Moves as described under “Special Movement” however they take up an EX meter whenever you use them, they are much stronger and faster and are great for combos. To use an EX move you must hit all the P or K buttons depending on the EX Special you are using. To build up EX meter you must perform special moves, deal damage to your opponent, block or take damage from your opponent, it fills up pretty fast in a real battle. This achievement is accumulative from the times you use it in Arcade, Versus and Online Mode.

Example of a EX move: EX Hadoken ( which is a shorter for all the punches)

Entitled50
A Title does not tell all of a man, sir, but if I were to see one Title, I'd want them all...

You must unlock ALL titles for this Achievement.

Overachiever0
Attain all the Achievements! The path of the warrior demands this from those who walk on it! (1)

This is unlocked after you have obtained all of the other 49 achievements.

Fashion Plate10
Even a top rate fighter needs to coordinate properly! You gotta get all of the Colors first!

You must Unlock Colors#3-10 for ALL 35 Characters. Colors are unlocked after playing matches in Arcade, Versus or Online. You can quit out after the matches start against the CPU to get these quicker. Achievement will not pop during a match, you have to back out to menu mode to get it.

Dan the Man10
Mastery of the Saikyo arts requires mastery of the Personal Action! Collect 'em all, punk!

You must Unlock Personal Actions #2-10. Personal Actions are unlocked after playing matches in Arcade, Versus or Online, and unlock alternately with colors. You can quit out after the matches start against the CPU to get these quicker. Achievement will not pop during a match, you have to back out to menu mode to get it.

Ultimate Ultra10
Candy always says you gotta win with style, so go out there and perform 50 Ultra Combo finishes!

Similar to Superior Super, except you must finish them with an Ultra Combo. Can be done in Arcade, Versus or Online.

Sunspotter10
Amigo, perform 365 Super or Ultra Combo finishes against your opponents! The dawn is coming!

Same requirements as Superior Super and Ultimate Ultra, except you have to do a combined 365 of the two (can be either Supers, Ultras, or any combination of the two). Can be done in Arcade, Versus or Online.

Absolute Perfection20
Lauren's waiting, so how about you finish your fights quickly and get 30 Perfects. Sound good?

Score 30 Perfect Rounds (dont take any damage, bar remains yellow). Quickest method is to set up a Best of 7 versus match with a second controller, set the other controller to 0% handicap, and you will one hit kill them for a perfect, and you get 4 perfects per match.

Superior Super10
Trust your instincts and winning will come easy. Let's begin with 50 Super Combo finishes!

Perform 50 Super Combo Finishes. Quickest way is in a versus match with a second controller set to 25% health. Charge up the first character, get the second character down to 10-20% health, then use a Super Combo to finish them. Can be done in Arcade, Versus, or Online.

Super, Man!10
To battle is to win a fight with overwhelming strength! Show me you can do 100 Super Combos!

Must successfully land 100 Super Combos. Once your EX gauge is maxed out, it will say "Super!" on the end, and you can perform a Super Combo. Can be done in Arcade, Versus, Online or Trials.

Ultra, Man!10
If yer gonna fight, give it your all, pal. Performing 100 Ultra Combos oughta do it, eh?

Must successfully land 100 Ultra Combos. Your Ultra gauge charges when you get hit, and once it is 50% or greater, you can perform an Ultra Combo. Can be done in Arcade, Versus, Online or Trials.

It Takes Focus10
Your mission, should you wish to join Delta Red, is to connect with 100 Focus Attacks!

Successfully land 100 Focus attacks. To perform a Focus attack, hold down MP+MK for a second or two. Can be done in Arcade, Versus, Online or Trials.

Team Lobbyist10
Hey mon, battlin' is fun, no? Go out and create 30 Team Battle lobbies and enjoy the rhythm!

Same as "Endless Lobbyist" except you have to set up 30 team battle lobbies. Set it up as 1 round 2v2 with 3 private slots, invite your friend, play the match, leave the lobby, set up a new one and repeat until the achievement unlocks. It will unlock at the character select screen of your 30th lobby.

Quarter Up10
Fight 30 opponents via Arcade Fight Request. It'd be easy with the right bait, he he.

Start up an Arcade Mode match, but make sure you have Fight Request turned on, and you will have people jumping in to fight you via request. After the match is over, select "Return to Arcade Mode" and wait until someone else challenges you. After 30 Challenges, the Achievement will unlock. And remember that Fight Requests are Ranked, unless set to team battle.

The Awakening50
As if you could ever defeat Evil Ryu in Arcade Mode on the hardest difficulty. See for yourself!

WARNING: You do not get a continue if you lose to him. So the current character you are using as you go in to fight against him with is the character you must beat him with. Remember to utilize the second controller trick and press Start with a connected second controller to save yourself from having to redo the entire Arcade mode.

To face Evil Ryu after defeating Seth on the hardest difficulty you must fulfill the following requirements if you are set to 1 Round Settings:

  • No Continues
  • 1 Perfect
  • Defeat Seth with a Ultra/Super combo Finish

Evil Ryu is a pretty predictable opponent but can easily overwhelm with pressure. Two notable move's he uses are Shoryuken and Hadoken. If you are using a character who has an attack that can go through projectiles punish Evil Ryu each time he uses Hadoken. As for Shoryuken, try to bait it out and punish it on block. Evil Ryu can now teleport just as Akuma can and move right behind you so be weary of that. Also if he so happens to fill up his meter bar watch out for his Super Raging Demon.

If you are already skilled enough this battle could probably be a joke to you but to those lacking in skills you may want to be patient when fighting Evil Ryu.

Endless Lobbyist10
It's only natural for warriors to seek fights! Create 30 Endless Battle lobbies!

You must create 30 separate lobbies, and play a match in them. Quickest way to boost it is to set up a 2 person endless lobby, 1 private slot, 1 round match, and invite your boosting partner. Play the match, leave the lobby, start a new one, and repeat until you get the achievement. It will unlock at the character select screen of your 30th lobby.

Three For The Road20
In the pursuit of strength, one must have a goal! In Endless Battle win 3 matches in a row.

In the pursuit of strength, one must have a goal! In Endless Battle win 3 matches in a row.

See "Endless 10"

Endless Ten50
Throw away your fears and focus on the fight! Win 10 fights in a row in Endless Battle! (4)

You must win 10 Endless Battle matches in a row. To boost this, set up an Endless Battle Lobby with the private slots set to the number of boosting partners, then invite them to the match and have them let you win your 10 in a row. If its just you and one other person, then set it to 2 people, one private slot.

Replayer10
Watch 30 Replays via the Replay Channel! Isn't it fun watching people go at it tooth and nail!? (1)

You must watch 30 replays from the channels, not your own replays. Go to "Player Data" then "Replay Channel" and simply pick a channel and start watching. It will autoplay, so you can go do something else while the 30 replays are playing. Should take around an hour to an hour and a half (depending on the length of the matches).

Transcendent10
Ascend beyond oneself by clearing Arcade Mode on Medium or higher without using a continue with Oni.

Please refer to "Just Enough" for more information.

Because Oni is a new character here are some notable basic moves you want to keep in mind when using him for this achievement:

Demon Slash (Rakan Dantojin)+ or .

Oni will dash up and perform a forward slash in-front of him, his move is very important when applying pressure. The  variant is safe on block and can be FADC'd into bigger damage. The  variant is a bit slower and very unsafe on block however its immune to projectiles mid move and can knock down on hit. Finally the  variant can cross up the opponent but is rather slow about it, its amazing for mix ups.
Demon Palm (Sekisei Jiraiken)+ or .
Oni will leap into the air and pound the ground below him. Its very fast and hard to see coming, Oni will leap forward a certain range depending on the variant you use. This move is good during pressure strings if you're trying to get in on your opponent.
Air Hadou Dash (Zanku Hadosho)+ or .
Probably one of Oni's best qualities ... an air dash. This move can only be used in the air and is a good way to close in on your opponent or bait out anti-air moves depending on the variant you use. Be careful though as you wide open upon landing so watch your spacing.

Prep Time10
You need study materials to make your battle plan. Follow one player in the Leaderboards.

In the Network Battle menu select leaderboards and press  to scroll through the selections until you find one subjecting BP. Look at the top leaderboards of the BP selections for someone who has 3000+ BP, select their name and then press Start to follow them which will unlock this achievement.

New Threads10
Use a new Title and Icon, and fight in one Xbox LIVE match. Right on!

Upon loading the game with the new Arcade Edition DLC downloaded and installed the system will already be preset to the AE changes. Simply press  and then press  or  to see your icon or title. At the last few pages of both lists will be a SSFIV AE section filled with icons/titles for each of the 4 DLC characters, icons/titles that would normally be unlocked through arcade mode or trial mode are already there for you, set a new one for both your icon and title.

Next play one online match, win or lose. At the end of the match the trophy will unlock.

Overwhelming Power10
If you seek power, clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher without using a continue with Evil Ryu.

Please refer to "Just Enough" for more information.

Because Evil Ryu is a new character here are some notable basic moves you want to keep in mind when using him for this achievement:

Red Fireball (Shakunetsu Hadouken): or .

Because you want to utilize the new tools Evil Ryu has opposed to his normal counterpart you might want to keep in mind his charged Hadoken. This move is a good way to chip away your opponent or win fireball fights against the opponent however the move is slow so it can easily be avoided so don't spam it as you would a hadoken.

Shoryuken (Dragon Punch) or .

Just like the regular Shoryuken's this one is just as good. One of the best anti-air moves in the game, you can choose between the Light Shoryuken which can combo into Ultra 1 with ease of if you don't have that meter you can go with the Hard Shoryuken which has the move invincibility. Be careful though because of blocked it can punish you severely.
Axe Kick or .

Evil Ryu will swing his leg forward up and then down. This may look like an overhead however it is not (except for the EX version). This move can be fast and safe on block depending on the variant you use. The  version is fast but if blocked leaves you wide up where as the  variant is safe on block but doesn't come out as fast. The is simply for damage and for combo enders.

Birth of the Oni50
To surpass the power of Oni, you must defeat him in Arcade Mode on the hardest setting. (1)

WARNING: You do not get a continue if you lose to him. So the current character you are using as you go in to fight against him with is the character you must beat him with. Remember to utilize the second controller trick and press Start with a connected second controller to save yourself from having to redo the entire Arcade mode.

To face Oni after defeating Seth on the hardest difficulty you must fulfill the following requirements if you are set to 1 Round Settings:

  • No Continues
  • 1 Perfect
  • 5 First Attacks
  • 3 Ultra/Super Combo Finishes
  • Defeat Seth with a Ultra/Super combo Finish

Oni applies much more pressure then Evil Ryu can ever wish to. Like Evil Ryu Oni will use the Gohadouken but not so often and even then you have to watch it when you try to punish it because Oni has probably the best version of Shoryuken (Oni's is Goshoryuken), its so safe he could probably spam it with no worries at all. Finaly two notable moves to watch out for are Demon Palm (Sekisei Jiraiken) and Demon Slash (Rakan Dantojin), Demon Palm leaps Oni into the smashes the ground below him, its very fast and hard to see and even harder to punish on block, Demon Slash is safe on block for Oni and can cross you up if he uses the Heavy variant.

I found using Level 3 Focus attacks from a safe distance still pretty effective but don't rely too much on it, back up and bait out moves like Gohadouken and Demon Slash. If he tries to get in too close watch out for the Goshoryukens and Demon Palms.

Just Enough!10
Dude, just clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher without using a continue with Yun! Piece of cake!

For the following achievements you must play as the selected DLC character from start to finish, you can not use the same method under "All Clear" to switch out for Zangief otherwise it will ruin the requirement of not using a continue. When entering arcade have it set to the following settings:

  • Difficulty: Medium (No need to make things harder on yourself)
  • Timer: 99 (Incase you so happen to start losing)
  • Rounds (Best of): 1

Also remember to keep a second controller if possible turned on and near by incase you are about to lose a match, you can save yourself by pressing Start on that second controller.

Because Yun is a new character here are some notable basic moves you want to keep in mind when using him for this trophy:
Zesshou Hohou (Lunge Punch): ,  or .
One of Yun's easiest and safest ways to get in. He leaps towards the opponent with his fist out also closing the space between him and the opposing player. Depending on the variant you use the leap might not be so far however the recovery will be much faster. This move is a good way to get in on your opponent and a fast way to punish whiffed attacks.
Kobokushi (Palm Strike) or .
One of Yun's best moves, He stands in place stomps on the ground while pumping his palms forward. What makes this move so good is that he basically beats out any jumps and stops projectiles. If you use the  variant he does a fake which can be used to bait out moves (which probably won't be the case unless you are playing online). His and  variant builds meter and may or may not have push back depending on the variant. This move is also safe on block so feel free to abuse it but not too much if the opponent tends to be too close.
Nishokyaku (Dragon Kicks)+or .
Yun's Dragon Punch move, he will leap up kicking both of his feet how high, far and how much damage it does it dependent on the variant you use. This move also has a nice amount of invincibility on start up depending on the variant however can be easily be punished if the move whiffs or gets blocked.

Up to Snuff10
Clear Arcade Mode on Medium or higher without using a continue with Yang. It's simple!

Please refer to "Just Enough" for more information.

Because Yang is a new character here are some notable basic moves you want to keep in mind when using him for this achievement:
Tourou Zan (Mantis Slashes) ,  or
Yang slices his hand infront of him and will keep doing it for the amount of times you input the moveset for the move (max 3 per). The  is safe on block so long as you don't continue it with the multiple hits while the  and variants are not and be punished on block. The move is a good poke to get in (if you are using the  variant) and also serves as a good combo ender.
Byakko Soushouda (Palm Strike) ,  or
One of Yang's best moves (Just like Yun's), He stands in place stomps on the ground while pumping his palms forward.
Senkyuutai (Dragon Kicks, Roll Kick)+ or
Yang will roll on the ground towards the opposing player and do an fast upward kick (the  variant does not roll on the ground). This move is a great way to punish projectiles. In Yangs Rival battle he will face Ryu who will spam Hadokens, the  variant of this move is a great way to punish it consistently. As good as the move is it is also VERY unsafe on block so don't use it unless you are sure your opponent is attacking.

From C to Shining C50
You think you're good, don't you? Prove it by ranking up all characters to C Rank! (5)

To reach a C rank with any character you must first reach 1000 BP (Battle Points) with that character, BP can only be earned through Ranked matches so you will have to follow the set up under "Tenpeat". Your BP will not decrease until you reach the C rank so if you so happen to not have a boosting partner you can play and lose to your heart content. On average it will take about 20 wins per character to reach the C rank.

Tenpeat50
Don't hold back your true potential! Win 10 Ranked Matches in a row! (13)

Ranked matches are boostable and you can set the matches to any setting you want. If you are boosting this with a partner set the match settings to the following:

  • Rounds (Best of):1
  • Time Limit : 30 seconds
  • Region: Any
  • Opponent Skill: Any

Most regular players would never dare join a game with only one round and such a small amount of time in that round so it will be easy for your partner to search for this setting and easily join you for your 10 straight wins.

Moving On Up10

Team Mate10
Win 1 Team Battle match, and you will learn that teamwork can help you become stronger!

A pro can win with any team. Win 10 Team Battles but don't forget, you have to win too!

For these Achievements, you have win a Team Battle match AND you have to actually win one of the matches to get credit for the achievement. So, if you start out first, but you lose but then your teammates go on to win the Battle, then they will get credit, but you will not. To boost this, set up a 2v2 Team Battle with 3 private slots, and invite your boosting partner. You will be on separate teams, but since its just the two of you, your win will count towards the achievements.

This is Madness!50

I shall make you the right hand of Shadaloo if you can win 100 Xbox LIVE matches!

The win/play Xbox Live matches will come over due time, since Ranked, Endless and Team Battle all count towards the achievements. You simple have to play or win the specified number of matches described for the achievement. But, if you are impatient, you can boost it with a friend, simply set up an Endless Battle, set it two players, 1 round, 1 private slot and invite your friend. If your going for wins then have him let you win, and you will still both get the achievement for playing a certain amount of matches on Xbox Live.
