Introduction:
The Game of Life is the classic board game that simulates a person's travels through his or her life, from college to retirement, with jobs, marriage, and possible children along the way. The player that accumulates the most wealth along the way is the winner. The game includes single player and pass-and-play multiplayer for up to 4 players. THE "HOME BUTTON" TRICK: If you spin the wheel and land on a space that is bad or you do not want, hit the Home Button (Windows Button) immediately. Then relaunch the game again (from a tile or the Games Hub). Once in the game, there will be an option to continue the game. Do so and it will be at a point before your last turn. You can spin the wheel again to get a different number and avoid the tile you landed on previously.
Step 1: Miscellaneous achievements:
You should try to earn the 9 miscellaneous achievements in the game first. With some planning, you can get most of them out of the way in a couple of games. They are all best done when playing multiplayer (except for "Dont Blame Me", which must be done in a single player game) and are made easier by using the "Home Button" trick detailed below. You should have little trouble earning any of these, but they do require a tiny amount of luck.
Step 2: Grind to ten victories:
This is the most tedious part of the game. You need to get a total of 10 victories. Luckily if you play pass-and-play multiplayer, every single game will count as a victory, even if the first player does not win.
Conclusion:
Each Game of Life progresses very slow which makes this game a chore to play, most notably watching the spinner EVERY time to see how many spaces you have get to move. Fortunately, you only have to play 10 times and the miscellaneous achievements are not that difficult to obtain with a little planning.
