The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead Achievements

Everything's Going to be Okay

Complete Episode 1: A New Day.

This achievement will cover our brief guide for Chapter 8: "Safe... Mostly"

When you cut back into the game take this time to go around and talk to everyone.

  • First should be Glenn who tells you that he is leaving to go and save his friends in Georgia. Nothing you say will stop him/alter the game.
  • Talk to Doug/Carley depending on who you saved and use whatever dialog you choose as it will not alter the game.
  • Move onto Clem who is playing with her broken walkie-talkie. You may try and calm her down although nothing said here plays on the rest of the game.
  • After Clem Larry will want to talk to you. He lets you know that he knows who you really are (a killer) and that Lee should stay away from Lilly and be careful with Clem as he will be watching.
  • Lilly wants to talk to you and it all goes black.

Well that's all for Episode 1. None of the achievements are miss-able so if you've made it to this point congratulations on your 100. That was a whole lot of guide for only 100 but major decisions carry on to chapters which carry onto episodes. Onto Episode 2 we go!

Wow. Story-based achievements. Shouldn't be too hard getting all these.

I agree with #1. And is there 5 of these coming out? So 500g total? That's cool.

If you like point and click adventure games, Telltale makes the best ones man. reminds me of old school PC games.
Try the BttF games on the iPad.

I'm kinda glad there's only these story based achievements, now I can play through this episode(and hopefully the next 4) without having to worry if I've done a certain requirement(s) to unlock an achievement. This way I can solely focus on the story, and how I want my playthrough to flesh out.

In all honesty, how could there be any non story based achievements. From what I've seen the game is more focused on linear story based missions, than anything else. So it's nice to see more time and focus on the story.

Looking at the videos on youtube and came across a walkthrough and you're looking at around 2 - 2.5 hrs to complete this EPISODE

400MP, besides this is the easiest 100GP ever LOL. They should put a little more into this game to give at least some challenge. But the story line is pretty good so lets see how fast the next one will launch.

I think they're all 400 because there's a season pass that costs 25$ Which is like 2000 msp

If you enjoy the show, then I would suggest getting it, as others have mentioned it's like watching a episode but playing it at the same time, it got all the drama and action there.

Fantastic game! Bought it today and finished it straight in one sitting (about 2 1/2 hours). I had a blast, and I´m not even aware of the comics and the TV show. Maybe I´ll get into the show now too.

@4 and @5

They could have made achievements depending on which person you saved, any delays in your response time, whether you made good or selfish choices, etc, but I agree that the current set-up allows you enjoy the story more like a tv episode while looking like a well-colored and animated version of the comic.

I personally agree wit the faction of gamers saying the story-based achievements are a nice change from the norm. So much time focusing on how to get each achievement would have subtracted greatly from this game in ways it would not from others (such as Skyrim or Sims 3 and other titles simliar)

This might sound like stupid questions, but how do I get this game? Can I just download each episode on my xbox with out needing an actual disc? Or do I need to go to like gamestop and get the disc? And if there is a disc, do the episodes come with it free? I'm sorry, I'm just kind of confused on how this works. Cause this seems like a really awesome game and I really really wanna play it.
