Thief Achievements

Predatory Drive

Finished the game in 15 hours or more

This should come naturally if you take your time, complete all the side jobs and go for all the collectibles. You can check you total playtime in the Player Progression section of the menu. If you are approaching the end game and are still somewhat short you can leave your game idling for a few hours to make up the difference.

NOTE: If you do complete the main story short of the fifteen hour mark it has been confirmed that you can go back out into the city, finish up anything you need or simply idle to pass the time, then go back and complete Chapter 8 again to unlock the achievement.

I'm guessing it's saying you should take your time? Perhaps do some side activities and collectible hunting so you don't finish the game too quickly. Either that or it's a really bad typo lol.

If going full stealth it should take much more time, so shouldnt be hard to get this achievement

This has got to be one of the best achievements that I've ever seen. I really hate how companies trying to get you to blast through their games at blazing speeds just to get an achievement. I just did a quick skim and it looks like there were no multiplayer achievements either which is another thing I hate when companies do. Add useless multiplayer to an otherwise great single player game and then make 30%+ of the achievements based on it.

If for some reason even doing all the side content and taking your time it doesn't take 15 hours. On the final mission or something just check your time played and leave the game running for a couple of hours.

Definitely an interesting achievement. Basicly this cheevo wants people to stop and smell the roses rather than bum-rushing through the game in one go. This won't be a problem for completionists, but it might cause headaches for renters who have limited time. I'm assuming that this will actually be missable if you rush too fast.

I love this!! As #3 said, I hate having to do speed runs just to get an achievement. I like to take my time and enjoy the game (unless it's crap, of course!) and just take everything in. Excellent.

Even rushing as quick as possible I would hope it's longer than 15 hours. Games are just too damn short these days

This is obviously encouraging you to explore and take your time. The game can probably be finished in under 10 hours if you run through it. Glad I like to take my time when I play games I enjoy.

Kind of a neat achievement. Taking your time as opposed to rushing through it ignoring everything. I like it.

By exploring the City and doing all side missions, I'm between Ch.4 & 5 but already got way more than 15 hrs.

In case anybody is unclear NO you cannot get this if you complete chapter 8 and then hang around the city until you've played for 15 hrs. You have to hit 15 hrs before playing the last mission.

Yes, elSpanielo is correct. You must have hit 15+ hrs by the time you finish Chapter 8, NOT after.

You CAN finish the game then hit fifteen hours. HOWEVER, you have to complete chapter 8 again. Just unlocked for me this way.
