Complete an 18 hole round under par with Tournament Difficulty turned ON

This is much easier than it looks.

Before you start the round, go to Road to the Masters - My Career - Options - Game Options and turn the difficulty to tournament. Then go to Road to the Masters, then Next Event and play the first hole of the event and once it loads up with the second hole, save and exit the game. From there, go to Options - Settings and turn the difficulty to amateur, then go back to the Road to the Masters and hit load last hole. Complete the game on this setting until you are on the 18th tee, save and exit again, and turn the difficulty back up to tournament. Complete the 18th hole on this setting. This achievement will unlock along with no focus, even if you used focus during the 16 holes completed on amateur.

This is also a great way of levelling up if you don't mind playing with the options a lot.

I just finished six under playing on this difficulty and didn't get the achievement. Does anyone know if you have to be in Road to the Masters to get this one. I completed this in quickplay.

Apologies - I think I did it on Tour Pro and not Tournament. Went back and tried it again and got it doing the save and revert method.

After only 3 attempts I got it today at 5 under par legit! I feel very proud of myself. Had no problems unlocking cheevo. Sort of helps to keep the rumble assist on and definitely turn pressure moments off. I played it by selecting course from the course mastery menu. I notice people having problems getting the cheevo to pop any other way.

CHOOSE THE NEXT TOURNAMENT IN LINE, ROUND 1. PLAY TILL HOLE 6. ON HOLE 7th AT THE TEE PAUSE, SAVE, AND QUIT. BACK OUT TO THE MAIN SCREEN. THEN CHANGE TO AMATEUR DIFFICULTY. THEN RESUME MIDROUND. PLAY TILL THE 17TH. ON THE 18TH TEE PAUSE, SAVE, AND QUIT. BACK OUT TO MAIN SCREEN. SELECT TOURNAMENT DIFFICULTY. COMPLETE THE ROUND UNDER PAR.

This strategy works 100%...
Thanks lincoln80!!!

well the restart approach doesnt work for me, and to play a whole round under par on tournament mode is bordering on impossible unless you played it hole by hole, save and quitting if you had a mare of a hole...... the restart doesnt work, or im doing sommat wrong

Found this cheevo actually quite easy on St Andrews (Old Course) with sunny weather and low wind. I was bronze mastery for that course at the time too. Hope it helps.

following the tips from up above it worked, got to whole 6 -1 under, played rest as amature, and played final 2 holes to be safe, and ping achievo's... fantastic

Word of caution - I think you can't save and quit while you are in the amature mode. I started on tournament, swithced to amature after 6 holes, played through 17, and switched back and didn't get it. I think the problem is that I did a quit and save on the 12th hole while in the amature phase and it must have screwed up this exploit.

Got it by using the 6 holes on tournament, switching to amature, then back to tournament at 18. Anyone know if you have to play the first 6 on tournament, or can you play fewer before switching?

Just popped this one legit, first try. Waialae -11. For those of you that want it legit, play Waialae. The greens are flat and easy to read. Listen to your caddie and try to recreate the same putting tempo you've come to know when playing a lower difficulty. Good luck!

In reply to #28, you can switch to amateur mode after the 1st hole. No need to play first 6 or 7 in tournament
