Building The Network5
Construct 1 of each type of Novus structure during a Ranked or Conquer the World match.
Simply construct one of every type of structure, including super weapons. From the start, build a flow generator and at least one flow conduit. Then build a recycling center and robotic assembly. Then you are able to build air and vehicle assemblies. Then build a science center and upgrade it with Singularity Compressor. From there you can build the remaining three things: Redirection Turret, EM Destabilizer and Black Hole Generator. Once all of them are up at the same time the achievement will unlock.
Under Novus Control20
Requires every territory in Conquer the World to be owned by the Novus player.
This can be difficult due to the fact that there are very few people online, but it can be done eventually. From the main menu, go to "Live", then "Conquer The World". There are 25 total territories to take over. Select any territory that you have not won a match at, and then select "Find Opponent". If someone is already searching at that location you'll see an icon on the territory and you can immediately begin a match. Otherwise you will have to wait for another person to join.

You will receive credit if your opponent immediately drops out of the match. If you are working with a friend towards the achievement, you can simply start a match and then immediately forfeit again and again in each region.
Can't Stop Novus8
Defeat 5 Ranked Game opponents while playing as Novus.
You will get credit if your opponent quits. Do note, however, that the game will not give you the achievement until you have completed at least one legitimate match first, so if you intend on having a friend help you play one round where you both construct structures, and one of you defeats the other.
Whirling Dervish15
Destroy 100 enemy aircraft using only Dervishes during Conquer the World matches.
This count is cumulative, meaning that you do not have to destroy 100 in a single match. Simply construct several Whirling Dervishes and take out any enemy aircraft. All damage done to an enemy must be from the Dervish for it to count. You can check your progress in your Medal Chest online.
The Power Must FLOW5
Build 50 Flow Conduits during a single Ranked or Conquer the World match.
You can see how many you currently have by hovering your cursor over the Flow Conduit build icon. It will show the cap of 50 and how many you've done thus far. It will unlock immediately when you have reached the build cap of 50.
Pure OHMage12
Win 5 multiplayer games against other Novus opponents during a ranked game.
You will get credit if your opponent quits. Do note, however, that the game will not give you the achievement until you have completed at least one legitimate match first, so if you intend on having a friend help you play one round where you both construct structures, and one of you defeats the other. You can check your progress in the Medal Chest online.

You and your opponent must both be Novus and you must win five matches like that for this.
Research is Key35
Defeat 5 Ranked Game opponents in a row while playing as Novus.
You can play as another faction and lose in-between, so long as all your matches as this faction are won. You will get credit if your opponent quits. Do note, however, that the game will not give you the achievement until you have completed at least one legitimate match first, so if you intend on having a friend help you play one round where you both construct structures, and one of you defeats the other. You can check your progress in the Medal Chest online.
Swift Victory5
Achieve victory within the first 18 minutes of a Ranked Game.
Even though it doesn't say so in the description, this achievement must be done with the Masari faction. If you are Masari and your opponent quits in the first 18 minutes or you completely destroy them within 18 minutes you will get the achievement.
Time Means Nothing35
Defeat 5 Ranked Game opponents in a row while playing as Masari.
Dark Matter FTW10
Spend 90% of your time in “Dark” mode during 4 Conquer the World matches.
Just immediately switch to dark mode at the start of the match. Note that the game starts the timer when loading starts, not when you can actually control your units, so your match last at least 10 or so minutes, depending on how long it took to load. You can check your progress in your Medal Chest online.
Blinded by the Light10
Spend 90% of your time in “Light” mode during 4 Conquer the World matches.
You start out in light mode, so as long as you do not change modes you will be fine. You can check your progress in your Medal Chest online.
Unlimited Power15
Defeat 1 Ranked Game opponent while playing as Masari.
You will get credit if your opponent quits. Do note, however, that the game will not give you the achievement until you have completed at least one legitimate match first, so if you intend on having a friend help you play one round where you both construct structures, and one of you defeats the other. You can check your progress in the Medal Chest online.
Masari Global Influence20
Requires every territory on the Conquer the World globe to be owned by the Masari player.
See "Under Novus Control" for more info.
Gifts are Nice5
Construct 1 of each Masari structure during a Ranked Game or Conquer the World match.
Simply construct one of every type of structure, including super weapons. From the start, build a few matter engines, a guardian and a skirmisher portal. Then you are able to build a Knowledge Vault and a Machina. Then you are able to build an Oracle, a Flight Machina and a Sky Guardian. Upgrade the Knowledge Vault with Forbidden Knowledge and you will be able to build a Matter Controller. Once all of those are up at the same time the achievement will unlock.
The Sacred Cow10
Collect 200 cows in Ranked or Conquer the World multiplayer games using Kamal Rex.
In ranked games the map is random, and many maps have no cows. However, you may choose the map in Conquer the World. The American Midwest has plenty of cows. Simply take Kamal Re'x to some cows and use his ability to harvest them. Mutated cows do NOT count. The count is cumulative, and cannot be completed in a single match. This is one of the more lengthy achievements, as you can get only about 30 cows a match if you harvest all of them. You can check your progress through the Medal Chest online.
Peace through Power8
Win 3 Conquer the World games using only the "Assault" research branch.
Be sure not to research any other branches but Assault during the match. You will get credit if your opponent quits.
Mutation is Good8
Win 3 Conquer the World games using only the “Mutagen” research branch.
Be sure not to research any other branches but Mutagen during the match. You will get credit if your opponent quits.
Technological Terror8
Win 3 Conquer the World games using only the “Quantum” research branch.
Be sure not to research any other branches but Quantum during the match. You will get credit if your opponent quits.
Customization Made Easy5
Defeat 3 Ranked Game opponents while playing as Hierarchy.
Just like the others. You will get credit if your opponent quits.
My Wish is your Command23
Requires every territory in Conquer the World to be owned by the Hierarchy player.
See "Under Novus Control" for more info.
Hierarchy Domination38
Defeat 5 Ranked Game opponents in a row while playing as Hierarchy.
You can play as another faction and lose in-between, so long as all your matches as this faction are won. You will get credit if your opponent quits. This one doesn't have an online medal associated with it, so you can't track it like the others.
The Basics10
Complete the Preulde Campaign.
The Prelude Campaign is little more than a basic tutorial that introduces the controls and storyline. Any time you lose a significant number of troops you will receive free reinforcements, making this a pretty easy achievement.
Novus Campaign15
Complete Novus Campaign on normal or hard difficulty.
The Novus campaign is in many ways still a tutorial. You will not have access to many of the game's features that you will encounter in the later factions or multiplayer. This ends up making the Novus campaign fairly easy.

While no one strategy will work for everyone, for the campaign you will do just fine by producing a large number of units. Due to the very low population cap of the game, you may wish to build in waves; maxing out your population cap and sending all your forces against the enemy's defenses, and rebuilding for another complete wave once your forces are destroyed.

As with all factions, you should build a large number of turrets. However, the Novus variety are especially powerful in that they can attack ground AND air units, and can grab enemy fire out of the air and throw it back at your enemies (including walkers). Building a large patch of these creates an impenetrable wall that the AI can only destroy with a superweapon (not that they will).

With the Novus campaign especially, many enemies in the campaign are trigger based, and will not spawn or attack until you complete certain objectives. For example, in the 3rd to last Novus mission, in the beginning one of your objectives is to build two designated structures. If you do not complete this objective you will have free range over the map, able to build units and attack enemy positions freely without fear of recourse.

--POSSIBLE SPOILER--
For the final Novus mission the easiest way to win is simply to build turrets northeast of the center of the map. All the walkers will eventually come to this point, and as long as you rebuild the few that do fall, you can not lose. You'll have plenty of spare time to goof off, so build superweapons and units if you want to, just in case you didn't position your turrets just right.
Hierarchy Campaign35
Complete Hierarchy Campaign on normal or hard difficulty.
The Hierarchy campaign also leaves out a few of the options seen with later portions of the game, but offers a slightly greater challenge. Your largest limiting factor will be that many of the maps in this campaign have a scarce amount of resources. Remember though, that fallen units (friendly and enemy) can be harvested for resources.

Your largest assets are your walkers. Literally a walking base, it will be very difficult for the AI to defend against your walkers. Your best course of action is to build three walkers, fully build on their hard points, and keep your other units nearby to draw enemy fire as your walkers march towards the enemy base. What you build on your hard points is up to you, but I prefer a blend of weapons and armor. This allows your walkers to take a number of hits, while not having to rely on your troops to do the damage.

Hierarchy turrets are probably the least useful of the three factions, due to the fact that the majority of your base is mobile. However, you can use them with great effect when scattered about the map, usually in small groups. A large number of them will hold back nearly any offensive.

--POSSIBLE SPOILERS--
In the last mission you will be told of an enemy base to the north. While you certainly can assault and destroy this base, an infinite supply of enemy reinforcements will keep coming from off the map. Resources are scarce, and so you may wish to save those resources for the extra walkers needed to kill the forces at the dish. If you do run low on resources and have harvested everything, set up a lot of turrets, and harvest the enemy forces as they fall.
Masari Campaign45
Complete Masari Campaign on normal or hard difficulty.
Finally you are granted full access to everything in the game. With the exception of the first and last missions, none of the missions are scripted, and are much more like skirmish games. You will be given a limited number of hero units, under which you may build units.

The fastest way to go through enemy territory is to build up a full assault force, and then travel to the enemy territory. As soon as the map loads save your game. Then, scout around the map until you locate the starting position of the enemy. Then load your save file. Head immediately to the enemy starting position and unload your forces. The enemy will not have built up a base yet, and will thus only have a limited number of starting units. You should be able to wipe out the enemy in a very short period of time.

If there are simply too many enemy troops, you may attack in waves. Using the same method, unload your troops and move the hero unit far away from combat. If you fail, tell the hero to evacuate. Then, immediately come in with a second hero with fresh troops. All of the forces that your first wave defeated will no longer be there.

If you do end up in a situation where you're forced to build a base and begin a lengthy combat session, time is on your side. The Misari have an infinite supply of resources. Your enemy does not. If you can not easily defeat them, keep at it. Eventually your opponent will run out of resources. You may wish to send a strike force around to the other side of the enemy base and attack their superweapon, as it can be devastating to lose all of your defensive turrets just as walkers approach your base.

--POSSIBLE SPOILERS--
For the final mission build a large number of turrets to the north of your base, and 5 or 6 to the north of the Novus base. Then max out your population and send those forces in a wave against the enemy. An effective method (even moreso if you're playing on an unpatched version of the game) is nothing but peacebringers in dark mode. Again, you have unlimited resources. The only real threat against your base will come from the north, and should be easily handled by your turrets.
True Power60
All campaigns completed on normal difficulty.
While the game is pretty easy, if you are having great difficulty, you can set the difficulty to easy. As long as you set the difficulty back to normal before the end of the last mission of each faction, you will receive credit.
Can't Touch This70
All campaigns completed on hard difficulty.
There is no option to set the difficulty before you begin, so once you do start just open the menu and change it there. If you are having great difficulty, you can set the difficulty to easy or medium. As long as you set the difficulty back to hard before the end of the last mission of each faction, you will receive credit.
Zombie Luvin20
Convert 100 civilians into zombies in skirmish, scenario or campaign games.
Anything that emits plumes of toxic gas will turn infantry into slaves. During the Hierarchy campaign a very obvious opportunity will present itself. Should you be unable to get all 100 at this point, quitting the match and then reloading to that mission will keep your current count.
Sweep the Leg 10
Destroy your first Hierarchy Walker in a skirmish, scenario or main campaign game.
You will get this through the course of playing the campaign fairly early. Simply aim for the hardpoints on the sides, then take out the section underneath and finally you will be at the core, so destroy that and it will die.
Cow Go Moo20
Collect 100 mutilated cows using Reapers in skirmish, scenario or campaign games.
Mutilated does not mean mutated. Zombie cows will not count towards this number, as your reapers can not harvest your own zombie cows. Instead, run over them with a tank, or shoot them. They will fall down dead, and your reapers can then harvest them. You will receive the same amount of resources as if they were alive.

In the second Hierarchy mission there are 25 cows to the north. Save your game, and then harvest the cows. Forfeit the game, and then load your save file. The harvested cows will count. While you can get these cows at any time, this is a point where you will encounter relatively light enemy fire, and can concentrate on squashing cows, instead of fighting the enemy.
Nothing to See Here20
Using Altea, Unmake 30 enemy units during a skirmish game session.
Note to 360 Players: This achievement appears to be very glitched, and may be unattainable. The PC version works just fine, however.

The PC version is easier, as you can have as many AI players as the map allows. For the PC version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 2 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 5 easy Novus AI all against each other. For the 360 version, start a skirmish with 3 easy AI, all on different teams. With the PC version you should be able to leave your base almost completely undefended. With the 360 version you should build a number of turrets first.

Not only will this allow you to focus on your task, but easy Novus AI will produce plenty of OHM Robots, which will die even when at full health. You should be able to walk Altea right into the enemy base, use unmake, use her other ability to shield her, and then walk away from the base while you wait for her abilities to recharge.
Master Tactician25
Win 1 scenario campaign game.
Note that you do not need to control every region. You need only to destroy the enemy headquarters. The strategies described in the Masari campaign work here as well.
Supreme General60
Play through 1 scenario campaign on medium difficulty without losing any battles.
Note: This achievement is extremely glitched, especially on the PC version. Some people have reported attaining it on easy difficulty, but the majority have not been unable to unlock it at all. Try the 360 version to unlock it, but that version appears to freeze often during Scenario mode.

--------------
Every territory you control should have the basic defense upgrade. If you are invaded and no reinforcements are available, immediately start working on building turrets. If the region invaded is not right next to an enemy territory, the hero unit that invaded will not come with any base building units. Once you have a few turrets up you have effectively won, as you can not be defeated.

If the region is next to an enemy territory you may need to build up a full base and effectively play a full skirmish game. It may be worth trying to destroy the enemy production units right away though.

Above all, protect your hero units. If they die you lose. There is some speculation that if you ever see the lose screen, even if you load a save that you can not get the achievement that play through.

You may wish to try a great Novus tactic of building turrets into the enemy base, building new turrets a few feet closer, and selling the ones that are out of range. The AI has no real defense against this, and while it takes a while, it is virtually impossible to lose.
Infiltrate The Network25
Inflitrate the enemy Flow Conduit network using only the Founder.

Research the top tech tier to level 3, and then have some corrupters escort the founder. Once you find an enemy flow, position the founder near it, and then double click the enemy base. He should enter the network, and you will get the achievement.
Crater Creator 15
Destroy five enemy structures using any Super Weapon.
Target a closely grouped bunch of smaller structures. The larger structures will not be taken out by a superweapon. If you can find a group of Novus Flow Conduits, these are the easiest to destroy.
Demolition Expert15
Defeat a normal AI in less the 20 minutes.
The PC version is easier, as you can have as many AI players as the map allows. For the PC version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 6 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 1 medium AI against you. For the 360 version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 2 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 1 medium AI against you.The enemy MUST be medium, not hard.
Hoover Maneuver40
Use Reapers to acquire 100,000 additional Raw Materials during a skirmish session.
If you are actively seeking out resources, you should get this in a lengthy skirmish game. If not, on the PC version you can start an 8 player skirmish game with 3 hard Masari AI on your side, and 4 independent hard Masari AI. On the 360 version, start a skirmish on an 8 player map with 1 hard Masari AI on your side, and 2 independent hard Masari AI. You should have plenty of time to harvest, and you will be the only one harvesting resources.
Skirmish King50
Defeat 3 hard AI players during a skirmish session.
The PC version is easier, as you can have as many AI players as the map allows. For the PC version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 4 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 3 hard AI all against each other. For the 360 version, start a skirmish with 3 hard AI, all on different teams. The achievement is kind of buggy, so if it does not unlock, try being the one to destroy the enemy command center each time.
No Need For Heroes35
Defeat 1 hard AI player in a skirmish battle without building any heroes.
You can research, just don't build any heroes. The PC version is easier, as you can have as many AI players as the map allows. For the PC version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 6 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 1 hard AI on a different team. For the 360 version, start a skirmish with 2 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 1 hard AI on a different team.
Feel The Burn35
Defeat two medium AI players during a skirmish session.
The PC version is easier, as you can have as many AI players as the map allows. For the PC version, start an 8 player skirmish game, with 5 hard AI on your team surrounding your base, and 2 medium AI all against each other. For the 360 version, start a skirmish with 1 hard AI on your team, and 2 medium AI all on different teams. You can also get the Demolition Expert achievement at this time.
Opposites Attract15
Defeat 5 opponents on the opposite platform. (5)

If you are playing on the PC, defeat 5 360 players. If you are playing on the 360, defeat 5 PC players.

Your best bet here is going to be hitting up the Achievement Trading Thread in the UaW forum to find someone to help you.

Peacebringer35
Defeat 2 ranked or Conquer the World opponents on the opposite platform. (1)

If you are playing on the PC, team up with a 360 player. If you are playing on the 360, team up with a PC player.

Again, check the Trading thread for help.

Secret Achievements

My Virtual Life45
Play multiplayer for 75 hours. (2)
Only ranked and Conquer the World games count towards this achievement. You can see your total time in the medals chest section. If you intend on working with a friend on this, note that if you've left the game running for several hours inactive, you must build or destroy something before quitting the game, or you will not receive credit for the full time (ie, the game only records up to the last time an action was taken).
