Terminating a target is the act of killing a single unit in the squad. You need to terminate 500 units, not squads to get this achievement. You will earn this by playing through the story, as you will have thousands of terminated targets by the end of the campaign.

|Kill 20 enemies using Assault Jump in Dawn of War II.||(1)|
An Assault Jump is when you use the jetpacks on a squad to 'jump' into an area. Your melee squad or Force Commander can equip jetpacks. To unlock this achievement, use your squads and jump into a group of enemies. The impact may or may not kill a handful, so rinse and repeat.
|Kill an enemy who is retreating in Dawn of War II.||(2)|
A retreating enemy is one who has the yellow "!" above their head. The AI will usually retreat a squad if it has one or two units left and are heavily damaged. Focus fire on the retreating squad and it will easily be killed.
|Kill a boss using only your Force Commander in Dawn of War II.|
Easiest done on one of the earlier missions. You have to kill a boss by using only your Force Commander. Your commander is heavily armed and is very hard to kill, so it shouldn't be a problem. Use your tactical marine squad to heal your commander, but make sure they do not attack the boss. You can also use special skills such as Orbital Bombardment to help whittle down the boss' health.

Easiest done on one of the later Ork missions, where you hunt down Rippa's lieutenant. This boss is extremely easy to kill, and with all four squads focus-firing on the boss/vehicle you can take it down in ten seconds. Another option is to take out the extremely weak bosses on Defense missions. All enemies with the special health bar at the top are classified as bosses. Those on defensive missions are extremely easy to defeat, as they are no more then a normal unit (Wraithlord, Fire Prism, etc).

From time to time you will receive distress signals from the three planets. If you have strategic assets (Communications, Statue, Factory), you will be given defensive missions where you have to hold out against three waves of increasingly difficult forces. Complete five such missions to unlock this.

Failing a mission is when all of your squads are 'unconscious' (ie. the red hexagon is above their heads and must be revived). Simply complete ten missions without failing one. If you are on the verge of defeat, try to exit the game and start again. Doing so will not count as a defeat.

During defense missions you are tasked with protecting the three generators that drop near strategic assets. Easiest done on your first defensive mission on Recruit difficulty. The three generators are clustered together on a small plateau, and the defensive area only has two entrances. Your four squads can easily take care of both entrances.

|Complete a mission with only ranged weapons in Dawn of War II.||(2)|
Make sure none of your squads have any melee equipment equipped. This will force all your squads to attack with ranged weapons. Should be done on the first level as all the enemies are easy to repel without having to resort to melee.

Try completing one of the earlier missions on Recruit. You will need to finish it in under five minutes, not five or under. Try to have all your squads focus fire on one target to terminate it quickly. Keep moving, and use special attacks to drop the health of bosses.

At the end of a mission you will be given stars based on how well you perform in a mission. To unlock this, simply kill more then 80% of all enemy targets in the mission. Easiest done on your first defensive mission, as you must kill all units to complete the mission.

|Earn a 5 star Resilience rating in Dawn of War II.|
At the end of a mission you will be given stars based on how well you perform in a mission. To unlock this, have all your squads survive (ie. not go unconscious). Make good use of retreating and reinforcement beacons. Easiest done on your first defensive mission on Recruit as it is a very easy mission and an easy place to defend.

At the end of a mission you will be give stars based on how well you perform in a mission. To unlock this, complete a mission quickly. The amount of time available for five stars varies between missions. Longer missions have a longer time for you to get five stars, shorter missions have a shorter time span. Easiest done on your first defensive mission on Recruit. All three waves will come within the required time and they are easily repelled.

This unlocks after getting five stars on all three mission ratings. Easiest done on your first defensive mission, as 1. You must kill all enemies to complete the mission; 2. The power generators are in a very easy to defend position, with only two entrances which are both easily guarded; 3. All three waves come in a very brief time and can easily be defeated quickly.

When your post-mission experience is calculated, there will be two arrows on the exp bar. If the amount of exp earned surpasses the first bar (from the left), you will be awarded with a second deployment for the day you are on.

Your campaign score is determined by how you perform on missions and is shown on the top-middle part of your map screen. 30,000 points can be earned by the end of the campaign on Recruit difficulty, so it won't be much a problem. You can increase the amount of points you get by frequently getting five stars in missions.
|Attain a Campaign Score of over 90,000 points. Earnable in Single Player and by the host in Co-Op in Dawn of War II.|
Your campaign score is determined by how you perform on missions and is shown on the top-middle part of your map screen. 90,000 points can be earned by completing every optional mission available (keep in mind you can go back after completing The Last Stand).You can increase the amount of points you get by frequently getting five stars in missions. There will be an endless amount of Defense missions during the turn you have the opportunity to take your special assignment. Use these and grind away until you get 90,000 points.

There are seven Communication Relays, eight Imperial Shrines, and six Automated Factories to capture over the three planets. Most maps will have two or no assets. You can only capture one asset per mission, so multiple deployments will be necessary to capture all of the assets. These are usually heavily guarded but when captured provide very helpful bonuses such as temporary invincibility, new weapons, etc.
|Max out a Combat Discipline on a squad. Earnable in Single Player and by the host in Co-Op in Dawn of War II.|
A combat discipline is the line of bars shown on your squad customization screen. Invest in disciplines by spending points earned by leveling up. To get this achievement, simply invest enough points to earn the last trait in any single discipline.
|Reach Level 20 with one of your Squads. Earnable in Single Player and by the host in Co-Op in Dawn of War II.||(1)|
During the course of the campaign, your squads will continually level up. They become more powerful, gain new skills, and are allowed access to better weapons. To unlock this achievement, simply get one squad to level 20. This will take many missions. At the end of one campaign, you may have squads at levels around 15. Complete the optional missions available to level them up even further.

Invite two friends into your party and play a ranked multiplayer match. You do not have to win.

At the end of a multiplayer game (can even be custom) you will be given an option to save the replay. Save one, go to Game History, then watch the replay. You do not have to finish the replay.
|100 ranked wins in Dawn of War II.||(5)|
For this achievement you will have to win 100 ranked matches. Can be boosted by having one partner on the opposing team with a similar TrueSkill rating to you letting you win. This should be boosted with the race-related achievements to save time. You will have to play a total of 200 matches if your intent is to boost. To boost, simply search for a Head on Head ranked match whilst having your boosting partner in your party. Very simple.

See Veteran Victor for boosting method. You need to play (not win) 20 ranked matches using the Eldar as your race. You can play as any hero.

You have to revive your teammates' squads 50 times. To revive a unit, simply click on an unconscious unit. Your squad will take a couple of seconds to revive them, and you receive a resource bonus.
|Earn a 5 game Win streak during online ranked play in Dawn of War II.|
Win five games in a row in ranked matches. Can be easily boosted, see Veteran Victor for method.
|Achieve an online ranked victory with 500 victory points remaining in Dawn of War II.|
Playing Victory Point Control gametype, control all three points as quickly as possible, and you must hold them for the whole game as you start off with 500 points. If the enemy takes one but you still have two, you will not lose any points.

|Complete "Raid Against the Warboss." in Dawn of War II||(2)|
The Warboss is the final Ork boss. This mission is available during the turn you can take the mission The Last Stand. The Warboss is extremely hard to defeat, with around 200,000 HP and hordes of reinforcements. Capture the reinforcement relay to the south of the boss area, and constantly alternate attacking squads with squads being reinforced. Use your special attacks and grenades on the boss. Try using Avitus' focus fire and long range to slowly whittle down the Warboss' health. There is no need to aggro the other Ork support units. See The Avatar of Khaine for more information and tactics.
|The Avatar of Khaine||30|
|Complete "The Wailing Doom." in Dawn of War II||(2)|
The Avatar of Khaine is the final Eldar boss. This mission is available during the turn you can take the mission The Last Stand. The Avatar is also extremely hared to defeat, and has around 290,000 HP. Use your strategic asset to the left, or the reinforcement beacon to the right as a retreating point. The Avatar is very susceptible to plasma fire, so try keeping all your squads on the ledge before the stairs and keep Avitus' fire at the Avatar. You do not even have to destroy the Avatar's support units. Alternate your squads between attacking and retreating.

|Win a Ranked game using only Khorne-themed units in Chaos Rising.||(1)|
First off to get this you need to use the Chaos Lord. Beyond that you can use Heretics and any unit that can be given the mark of Khorne, such as Chaos Space Marines and Havoc's. You can also use Dreadnoughts and Predators as well as the Khorne Deamon units, Bloodletters and Blood Crushers. You can not use Mark of Tzeentch or Nurgle upgrades Plague Marines, or the Great Unclean one.
|Win a Ranked game using only Nurgle-themed units in Chaos Rising.|
First off to get this you need to use the Plague Champion. Beyond that you can use Heretics and any unit that can be given the mark of Nurgle, which at the moment is just the Predator. You can also use Plague Marines, and the Great Unclean one. You can not use Mark of Tzeentch or Khorne, Bloodletters or Blood Crushers

To get this you need to use the Chaos Sorcerer. Beyond that you can use Heretics and any unit that can be given the mark of Tzeentch, such as Chaos Space Marines and Havoc's. You can also use Dreadnoughts and Predators. You can not use Mark of Khorne or Nurgle upgrades or Plague Marines, Bloodletters, Blood Crushers or the Great Unclean one.
|Win a Ranked Team Battle with each Chaos hero on the team in Chaos Rising.||(3)|
To get this you need to win a 3v3 game with one player as the Chaos Lord, one as the Plague Champion and one as the Chaos Sorcerer. You can use any units you like so you don't have to worry about keeping to your commanders theme.
|King Of The Hill||50|
|Win 10 online Free for All matches in Chaos Rising.||(1)|
Free For All is a new game type introduced in Chaos Rising. At the moment there is no ranked version so its only available in custom games. To get this you must win 10 public games against human players, setting all other slots of computer players will not count.
|Score 500,000 in The Last Stand with the Hive Tyrant or Sorcerer in Chaos Rising.|
The Last Stand was introduced in October 2009 and updated in Chaos Rising to include these two new commanders. This is basically a survival mode where you and two other commanders have to hold off against waves of enemies. Getting this isn't that hard just make sure you keep hold of the control points and that your team mates stay alive. This will keep your score multiplier up and make this pretty easy.
|Reach level 20 in The Last Stand with the Hive Tyrant or Sorcerer in Chaos Rising.|
In Last Stand you get EXP based on what wave you reach, to get this achievement you need to get either the Hive Tyrant or Sorcerer to level 20 which is the highest level. This is going to be a grind but keep playing and you will get it eventually. You need a total of 124,770 EXP to reach level 20.
|Beat wave 20 in The Last Stand with the Hive Tyrant or Sorcerer in Chaos Rising.||(2)|
This is probably the hardest achievement in the game! Getting to wave 20 is not easy and then beating it is much harder. You will need 3 really good players, good team work, high level characters and luck to get this. The official DOWII community has a Last Stand forum with some good info. You can find it here.

These four achievement are all related to finishing the game on the various difficulties. Primarch is hard! Perhaps easier than Primarch in the original campaign, the new gear and skills can help a lot. So if you can finish the main campaign on Primarch you shouldn't have too many problems with this. See "Crush The Enemy" for general tips on Primarch.

Simply complete any mission in Co-op and both players will get this achievement.

Unlike Common Foe you must be the guest to get this one. Have a friend invite you to a game and play 6 missions and you'll get this. Once done invite the friend to a game and do the same for them.
|Get any squad to maximum Corruption in Chaos Rising. Not available to guests.|
There are a few ways to gain corruption, using corrupted items, taking actions that cause harm to allies, using corruption based abilities and not deploying certain characters on certain missions.
|Reach level 30 with any campaign squad in Chaos Rising. Not available to guests.|
You level up much like in the original campaign except this time you can reach level 30. You should be able to get this easily before the end of campaign, but if you having trouble there are items that add leveled characters, which you can pick up through out the game. You can also gain EXP from disposing of unwanted items.
|Unlock the dark secrets of "The Fate of Galan" in Chaos Rising.|
There are two missions on the Space Hulk. The first one is mandatory but the second one is optional. You have 3 days to do the second one after doing the first. In the second you have to recover Galen's log. After the mission the log is in your inventory as an expendable item. When you dispose of it you get message in your mission log and this achievement.
|Complete a mission on the Space Hulk with 4 Terminators in Chaos Rising.|
Assuming you collected all three sets of Terminator Armour from the original campaign you will start with the three of them but they will be unusable until you pick up a Techmarine. Getting a Techmarine and having him repair your gear is story related and can not be missed. It also happens before you reach the Space Hulk so don't worry about that.
|Hold 5+ victory points at once in an online Free for All in Chaos Rising.||(5)|
This one is very hard to get without boosting, but thankfully its easily boosted. What you have to do is go into a public Free For All match and hold 5 victory points at once. There are 7 on each FFA map but with 5 other players its a tough achievement.
|Taint Your Wagon||25|
|Destroy a Wartrukk with a Noxious Cloud during a Ranked game in Chaos Rising.||(5)|
This is another hard one to get, and its not easy to boost. First off, what you have to do is use the Plague Champion against any Ork commander. Then you have to build up 200 of your faction resource so that you can use the Noxious Cloud ability. The problem is that the cloud will do very little damage to the Wartrukk so it has to be nearly dead when you use the ability.
