Your Shape: Fitness Evolved Achievements

Calorie Score 10,000

Burn 10,000 calories.   

All of the "Calorie Score" achievements are cumulative and count across any type of game mode or session that you play. There is a Calorie meter on the main menu of the game that will tell you how many you've burned to date and how much more you need for the next milestone. The average person will burn at best +/- 100 calories per 12 minute workout so if you just play the game, you are looking at over 20 hours of workout time before getting to 10,000. This does not include load screens and menu selections.

To get there faster, set your weight to 396 which is the maximum allowed in the game. Start up the "Fitness Classes" and select Cardio Boxing. Then choose the 12 minute gold or silver workout (you will have to unlock the entire class by playing the individual segments first) and pull over a chair at the beginning. You can use either a rocking chair or swivel chair. Simply sit there and start rocking or spinning and watch the calorie count soar. Adjust the position of your chair to maximize the calorie burn. Now you will be burning 400+ calories per 12 minute workout so your total workout time is greatly reduced to 5 hours. This method is extremely boring though, so I'd recommend doing it in chunks of 3 sessions per day. You'll be getting 1000+ calories per day and be done in 9 days.

Also, go ahead and do everything else in the game first before "simming" your way to 10,000. It will make the road that much shorter if you had already burned 1000 calories before starting the big push to 10k.

This achievement is not as hard as it sounds it's just TIME CONSUMING. Just do your daily exercise for example "MAN'S HEALTH" will help you a lot with the weight loss or muscle training which you can do for 12 days and see your progress.

It's important to exercise for at least 20-30 minutes a day. You'll see a huge improvement of your health and body after you reach 10.000 calories.

Setting your weight to the maximum allowed (~400) will increase calorie burning speed by alot.

Rather sad to see people going for achievements all the time rather than actually giving a crap about their body and how they look, bunch of sad little fat fucks with no life.
I even seen a post somewhere about sitting in a rockingchair to rack up calories on this game.
Keep trying kids, maybe someday you'll look down and be able to see what's left of your dick!

^ Good point. It really doesn't matter what peoples intentions are for the game. They got it, so its up to them to use it how they wish. I would consider myself in okay physical shape and I thought it would be a good idea to get this to lose a little weight and get good achievements. So don't judge other peoples intentions for a VIDEO GAME. That's just silly :)

this is a good idea. I consider myself an achievement whore but i wouldnt cheat to get it lol. I want to actually unlock it, maybe lose a few lbs in the process.

Im achievement mad, but a fitness freak aswell. Currently hammering ea sports active, around 45 mins per day as well as other daily exercises. Im off for achievements on these but enjoy the workouts

I really like this achievement, it gives me something to work towards. Some of us are insecure about our weight/body type and this game is helpful to people like that (myself included). This way I can work out in the comfort of my own home without having to feel embarassed about what others may say or how others may look at me if I were to go to a public gym.

The "strategies" for getting achievements in this game are insane. JUST WORK OUT. That's all you need to do! I find it both hilarious and pathetic that folks are trying to come up with ways to cheat the system solely for gamerscore. It's a fitness game. How about burning off all of those calories you earned drinking Mountain Dew while grinding for Gears of War's "Seriously" achievement? You'll lose a waist size AND get the satisfying "plink" of an achievement unlocked.

If you are looking for a quick achievement it is not the right achievement even if you increase the personal weight in the option. I'm loving the road to get this achievement (not yet completed) and I'm improving my abs by incresing the weight of the dumbbells in the cardioboxe workout (and eating better and less obviously)

No it is quite possible to get 10,000 calories in one day... this game is ridiculously
easy to cheat as you just need to download the Gseries fit content since its free
then when the guy starts working out that you can just lay down on the ground and fool the
kinect sensor. inturn burning around 470 calories to watch at 30 minute workout.
very laughable. thats with the weight set at max as well.

that pointed out. for you people who play for achvments. i actually got the game to
get back in shape since i quit smoking. not to loose weight. damn cardio

I want to work out, but I'm an achievement freak so I have to cheat :-) Too bad I don't have a rocking chair. Playing 30 minutes in G-Fit is bit too long... I bet the game can be fooled in other way. Does anybody know it ?

Wow... achievement whores are really a joke! It's one thing to play a game (I would consider this a "program," not a game) because you like it... it's another to play every game/program JUST to raise your gamerscore.

I played "Avatar TLE:TBE" because I heard it could be 100%'d in under 5 minutes. Beyond that... I've only played 3 other games to raise my gamerscore - and THAT was back when I wanted to hit the 10,000 mark (about 6 years ago). I don't care anymore. I'm only interested in "completing" the games I have and want to play. The difference in being an adult and having a life vs. being... well, the ones on here who have no life! :-p

I've actually given serious thought to buying this game, because I think it would be beneficial - I certainly wouldn't "cheat" at this progra

I certainly wouldn't "cheat" at this program... just for the sake of a gamerscore boost.

Perhaps these exercise "games" shouldn't have any gamerscore at all (or just zero points for unlocking them). It would have made more sense!
