The "Multiplayer Map Pack 1" DLC is available now for 1200MSP, containting only one achievement. The "Pirates of the Flying Fortress" expansion is also available now for 2400MSP, containing the other nine achievements. Or, you can wait until October 18th to purchase the "GOTY Velvet Edition" which will include the full retail game, Pirates expansion and the first Multplayer Map Pack to get all 1250 gamerscore.

"The lands of Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress are teeming with betrayal and trickery as adventurers take to the high seas. Venture forth on an all-new quest to explore a vaguely familiar, yet vastly different and forgotten corner of the world. While abundant in exotic new creatures, enemies, and settings, it is trust that has become the rarest of elements in the world of Antaloor…"

"For those seeking new thrilling multiplayer adventures with friends in the "Two Worlds" universe, look no further - team up in the new Multiplayer Map Pack! It includes hours and hours of co-op and vs experiences: 7 Duel maps, 4 Adventure maps, 3 Deathmatch maps and 3 Crystal Hunt maps. Besides, what are friends for?"

HA! 3600 pts for 10 achvs worth 250pts...right. I picked up TW2 for $10 about two weeks after it released, and there is no way the game is anywhere near the quality to have a fanbase that would justify this kind of pricing. Even if it hits DOTW and is 50% off its more than $20!!

Does anyone know if the velvet edition (that contains this dlc) has it on disc? Finding that, used, would be the better option.

Enough people played and enjoyed this game to justify more DLC?

I was kinda hoping they was going to change the price since they removed it from the marketplace :(. Idont think they will release the velvet edition here so im hoping there will be no interesting deals tomorrow on the marketplace so i can use the points for this instead. I like the game alot but even i think this price a bit to high.

Sorry, this is not gonna happen. In my opinion, this game shouldn't have even had multiplayer. I tried it. It was a bunch of people who were supposed to be working together, but everyone went their own way and left me standing there. Still have no clue what I was supposed to be doing, as no one on the match would talk and the game offered no clues. I did play the campaign straight through and enjoyed it, I just don't think it should have had multiplayer. I won't even buy the GOTY edition.

BTW, is the GOTY edition even coming to the US, though?

Will there be a retail disc with these DLCs on it?
Would get a disc for sure but on the fence about this as DLC.
Guess I should just finish the main game first and by then the GOTY is about half price.

I usually don't outright swear in public, but... what the fuck ?

They really do think their game is so epic that they can get away charging 3600 for a pile of dung. At the very least, they could have included the multiplayer maps in the 2400 package. Not to mention the self-awarded GOTY status. TOTY would've been more fitting... turd of the year.

I actually enjoyed the game somewhat, but they're so full of themselves that I can't muster a single shred of respect for them.

This game was AWFUL! Who gave this the title of GOTY? I turned this POS off after about 2 hours & returned it. Probably the worst game I've ever played.

It sold over 2mil in like 4 or 5 months of release. Sold, not shipped. So yea they can put out dlc and people are gonna buy it.

Believe it or not however terrible you feel two worlds 1 was/is it created a huge fanbase and even some that claimed it was better than oblivion back then. 2 was just years over better and made all the fans happy campers.

Tw2 is a great game even with some of its issues. I traded dragon age 2 for it and honestly I had more fun with tw2 campaign and village mode than my 4 playthroughs on da2 :/

I'm looking forward to grabbing the velvet edition if it ever reaches UK shores. The game was pretty damn fun, depite its flaws. It has a sense of humour and some lovely visuals, and I for one enjoyed the game very much.

Ha. I like this game, but that much for DLC for this game? Not going to happen. Activision doesn't even ask for that much for their DLC's.

Wow. Talk about not in touch with reality. There is no way I am spending 3600 points on this game. Do they think it's Fallout or Mass Effect?

This is freaking ridiculous. 2400 MSP? Unless it comes with a cure for cancer, they can go peddle their shit elsewhere, cause nobody is going to buy that.

@27 Hell, not even Fallout or ME charge that much.

@29 Well they dont have as much content either :). Fallout 3 is around 60-90 minutes for every dlc if you buy those for full price its more expensive then this for less content :). People would'nt complain or atleast not as much if this was skyrim/mass effect/fallout/dragon age or any other big title.

I recommend this to the people that like the game this dlc is great in my opinion.

I can't be arsed about this overpriced. This DLC is not important for me get it because lots of new games since September to now to christmas. So no sorry devs I wouldn't buy this DLC. I agree for most people this DLC is bad ass price. Should like GTA IV DLCs that price 1200. Anyway I have plenty money for retail xbox 360 games so not for DLCs at moment. I will never buy this DLC anyway cos I got 1000G for Two Worlds II already and not want play this game anymore :D

@30 Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how good the DLC is, when the price is so high. People are going to see the price tag and say "Nope!" If they wanted to sell an expansion, they should have done what Dragon Age did and released another disc.

And honestly, 60-90 minutes for FO3 DLC? Project Anchorage maybe, but the rest of the DLC will take you a solid number of hours to complete, unless you're just running headlong to the end like an idiot (in which case, you have no right to complain about the length).

@32 I never complained about the length took me less then 7hours to complete all dlcs and i had time to enjoy them. I have played this dlc for 10hours now and i havent completed this yet so its worth the money for sure.

*sigh* I hate when people gauge the value of DLC purely by the cost versus the gamerscore it adds. Supposedly this is a full fledged expansion, as Shivering Isles was for Oblivion. $30 for a full fledged expansion is about average, and it's what Shivering Isles cost when that first came out (I think). It's common place for expansions to come out for PC games, and has been for many years, but obviously it's not so common on consoles. As for the map pack, well yeah, $15 for that is too much and it should have been part of the $30 rather than making it so that the expansion is technically $45.

Also, as for the talk of a GotY edition, I don't think it is called that (though I could be wrong). Some news articles when it was first announced called it a GotY, but I'm pretty sure the official title is just "Velvet Edition".

And lastly, for the people saying that it didn't sell well enough for an expansion, that may be true, but this expansion was announced a LONG time ago and has been in development since before the game even hit shelves.

Oh, and one more thing (yeah, I know I said lastly before, sue me). All the people calling this game crap (or various synonyms of that), have you played it? Sure, it's not the best game ever, but it is a lot better than the first Two Worlds, and personally I find it to be quite OK. While I don't plan to pay the $45 for these DLCs, if the Velvet Edition or some other collection comes out in the US then I intend to buy that.

Gamestop just did a price drop on this game, I picked it up new for $19.99 on Oct. 7th. I have not played it yet though so I will not drop 2400 MSP on it yet.
