The list is not that bad. A few multiplayer achievements but they look to be easily attained. The nostalgia of playing one of my favorite childhood cartoons will be all I need though.

Voltron DEFINED the era of mech. combination. I was born in 82 so this is an absolute purchase for me... Anyone who is unsure about it and have never seen the show should checkout some episodes on Youtube.. it unprecedented, and the Power Rangers owe there entire accomplishments to this cartoon...

People who watched Voltron in the 80s - all turned out to be intelligent
People who watched GI Joe in the 80s - all turned out to be alpha males
People who watched Thundercats in the 80s - all turned out to be gay as shit hahaha
(half Voltron and half GI Joe here haha)

@8 I think the Car Voltron was Voltron 2. Matchbox made the toys at the time so I think they kind of used their influence to make the second one vehicle related. I maybe mistaken but I believe there was a Voltron 3 as well.

@11 Really?! I watched Thundercats in the 80's (born in 82) and I'm perfectly straight. Anyway this is definitely a buy for me for nostalgic purposes.

@13 Good list there. Don't forget C.O.P.S and Dinosaucers as well. ;-)

@ #13 - I would add "Pirates of Dark Water" and "Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light", but it sometimes seems as if 'm the only one who remembers those gems.

@ #4 - The Power Rangers franchise is almost ten years older than Voltron. Sorry, but Voltron owes a lot to the Rangers, and the Rangers owe nothing to Voltron.

OT: Oh, I really want this game to be good. The achievements look fine, the MP ones look to be easily boosted, and this would make a great addition to my 100% list.

Might check this one out, loved both versions of Voltron. They even had a movie where the two came together. I think. Watched more of vehicle Voltron though. There were 3 Voltrons, I guess but I only watched the 2.

@18 are you kidding me? Power Rangers was literally the gayest show ever. It started in 1993 and Voltron started in the 80s Wtf are you talking about Voltron owes nothing to that shit show. How do you figure Power Rangers is older than Voltron?

@ #25 The Power Rangers started in Japan in the 70s. Voltron wasn't created until 1983. Learn your stuff, genius.

@26 Faggot, Super Sentai was in the 70s, Power Rangers wasn't in the US till 1993. aside from having an embarrassingly corny screen name you're an idiot in addition. Stop wasting my time and spreading shitty info. Another computer tough guy, meanwhile you watch a gay show like Power Rangers so stop fronting like your hard.

@ #28 - And what do you think Super Sentai was? It's the Japanese version of the Power Rangers! Go check out a few clips on Youtube if you don't believe me. Let's look beyond your poor grammar and weak insults for a second and look at what you're really saying.

"Power Rangers wasn't in the US till 1993" - Yes, but as I've already said twice, the concept, look, and format was clearly started in Japan in the 70s. Can you deny this? Do you think that 1993's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ignored everything from the nearly-identical Super Sentai series and looked only to 1983's somewhat-similar Voltron?

"Another computer tough guy" - Not at all. I'm not the one attacking someone here, you are.

"meanwhile you watch a gay show like Power Rangers so stop fronting like your hard." - Actually, I haven't watched Power Rangers since I was a young teenager. Even then I mostly watched it because I thought the first MMPR Pink Rangers (Amy Jo Johnson, Kat Hillard) were hot. Is that "gay"? No.

"Stop wasting my time and spreading shitty info" - Prove me wrong.

Poor grammar? Look asshole, Power Rangers was based on Sentai it wasn't the same series. Secondly yes you are a faggot having ever watched that show to begin with. Poor grammar? It's a post on Voltron not a masters thesis. Other than maybe a run on sentence everything was correct. I love that you correct spelling and grammar to make yourself feel less inferior, but your wrong. Anyway I'm in NY if you would like to meet and discuss this further. Im sure you won't though because you're just a coward. Man up.

#28 "Learn your stuff, genius." Righhhht. You really are pathetic. Let's insult someone and then make it like they are they troll. Anyway I have wasted too much time on you. I can tell by your homo screen name and your MM fanboyism, I wouldn't have a problem with you. You are wrong on every level. Hit me with a private message where you want to meet up and i will deal with you.

@28 I didn't even mention the fact that this is your m.o. I see you in forums all the time talking shit and being a problem. You're a nasty troll who seriously needs a life. Like I always say, you would think on this site when people have so much in common they would get along famously but no. Some loud mouth troll like you has to talk shit. I always get suckered in to fighting with some miserable bastard like you.

@ ShaneKarmaNY - Let me calmly break this down.

"Power Rangers was based on Sentai it wasn't the same series" - True, but that's not really the issue. The fourth post was saying that the Rangers owe everything to Voltron, and I replied by saying that's not true at all. It's not, and since you brought up the Sentai series before I did, I'm surprised you don't know that for yourself.

"Other than maybe a run on sentence everything was correct" - Wrong. If you really want to know what you screwed up, ask. If not, continue to make mistakes that I learned to avoid in the sixth grade.

"You are wrong on every level" - How so? You haven't said anything that disproves what I have said. All you've done is continue to throw around homophobic slurs like an insecure frat boy with repressed sexuality issues of his own, threaten to cross state lines to presumably fight someone over something posted on a gaming website, and hurl weak insults like the very computer tough guy you accuse me of being.

@ ShaneKarmaNY - Look, the bottom line is this. I don't want to continue this argument if all you're going to do is continue to act like a child incapable of having a debate. I don't know if you're mad at me for correcting you on the Final Fantasy thing a few days ago, but you can do better. You're 33, not 13, act like it.

Here's my overall point: The Power Rangers did debut in America in 1993, but they're clearly 100% based on the 70s Japanese Super Sentai series and not at all on Voltron of the early 1980s. What did Voltron do that Sentai didn't do? It was set in space, and that's really about all. Voltron isn't original (look up Dairugger 15 and Beast King GoLion), but it was not the inspiration for Power Rangers. Please prove me wrong if you can.

@ShaneKarmaNY & Kyanite - Who cares? Both of you are beyond ridiculous.

I saw there was quite a few new comments on Voltron and I was hoping that someone had the inside scoop on the game. Like, when it was going to be released and how much money it would be. Please continue your 'debate' somewhere else.

@33 corrected? Oh you mean saying exactly what I said about the Snes versions having a variation in numbers? Nice that your pathetic ass goes through forums looking to "correct" people. I guess that would be effective if you had even the least bit of intelligence. I appreciate you stalking me to the point you know my age etc. You need serious help with your inferiority complex.

@ #34 - Sorry. I agree that this has gone on too long. As for the release date, this page says it's October 26 in North America. No idea what the price is.

@ #35 - Stalking you? Please, your 360 profile begs people to look at your Youtube channel. I did, and it gives your age without me even having to scroll down. As a musician myself, I think it's cool that you support your local music scene. Too bad that every band in your channel sucks.

As for the Final Fantasy thing, your exact words were, "The US releases were always a different number than the Japanese releases. Not to mention the 'X' series which lookd like roman numeral 10 since they always used Roman numerals. The original Snes releases were all a number behind Japan."

That's not correct, and just like in this thread, I have knowledge and shared it. The fact that you respond to something so minor so harshly indicates that you're the one with the complex, not me.

Anyway, since you're clearly unable to prove me wrong or even stay on topic, I'm done. Have a nice day.
