Hopefully the dlc is hard like the old games. The main game was so freaking easy.

You can no doubt expect it to be identical in difficulty. They didn't accidentally make it easier and the vast majority of people other than hardcore gamers are pleased with the change.

Who cares if they're not sure it'll sell at 800MSP? Good I'm glad it doesn't and I hope it does well.

@3 Well for example, the Dante for this game used to look like the original, but to appeal to younger audiences, Capcom instructed them to have a sort of new, modern look. That also led to the difficulty being scaled down.

@Snowed. You don't need to munch the dick of this game until your throat gets sore. It doesn't need defending at every moment, I'm sure these people enjoy the game, but they have a right to voice their concerns.

@7 "they have a right to voice their concerns."

Just as he has a right to give reasoning behind the changes which are causing said concern.

Comment 5 is giving reasoning, is it? Don't think it is.

The really annoying thing is that I currently have 710 points sitting on my account. Bah!

I'll scrounge some extra points form somewhere as DmC has been the surprise hit of the year for me.

It really makes me sad when I see so many people attack this game. If you can stand back and look at it without your predetermined anti-reboot bias, it is obviously a fantastic game in every single regard. To watch people attack it and rip it apart just because it is not a carbon-copy clone of a game from 10 years ago makes me really worry about our industry and I fully understand when developers get ticked off at their "fans" and stop even trying to please them. Who wants to try so hard and make something so good just to have it ravaged by furious short-sighted super-biased fanboys?

Anyway, I loved this game, played through it half a dozen times, think it is as good as if not better than every other DMC except for 3, and can't wait to happily pay and play more DLC. Furthermore, I could care less if they go back to the "plot" of the original four and I hope any future sequels follow this game.

Achievements list look ok but kind of same in main game's achievements is quite repeatability. I still waiting for shopto send me a email about preorder DLC that is free when preorder game before game were released.

@12 well said pal! I feel the same way. You can tell a lot of good talented people worked on this one, the gameplay, visuals, soundtrack, even the camera angles are fantastic!

Totally agree with @12 and @14, have already put in over 30 hours on this game and I still want to keep playing. Best game I've played so far this year.
Looking forward to the DLC - more DmC can't be a bad thing.
Glad @14 mentioned the soundtrack too, it's bad ass - suits the game perfectly.
