Same thing that's "up" with all the shooters in America.

Still amazing how Japan can still get exclusive games to their territory and it (Xbox) doesn't do well there at all. However, I love anime games and wish we could play this locally.

@5: You have to switch to PC to get localized games.

I wish JRPGs got this kind of treatment. I love Japanese games that aren't overly Anime-ish but I respect their popularity.

@5 They only need to sell like a hundred copies to make back the money from the port job.

@9 They aren't "anime-ish", they're Japanese-y and this is all largely inpart because they're from Japan (plot twist!) and they have a certain type of culture with specific manerisms and traditions, etc.
Just like how American stuff is very "American-ish" or stuff like Fable/LittleBigPlanet are very "British-y" or something is "French-y" or "Spanish-ish", etc.

Summary of this Vn

In 1907, the advent of steam power and excessive use of it caused the air around New York to turn dark. There was an unexplained disaster called the “great disappearance” 5 years ago and the government blocked off the city. Now, there’s only one girl who walks in the ruins of the city: Elicia. Meanwhile, down below the ruins, Lily looks at the ‘sky’ which is stained purple. She doesn’t have any memories, but she knows that she has a mission to reach the edge of the purple sky, Manhattan. A mysterious boy A accompanies her and along the way, they learn more about the truth from others and are attacked by monsters on their journey. What is her true purpose? What actually happened 5 years ago to New York?
