Final Fantasy XIII-2
Assassin's Creed Ezio Costume in Final Fantasy XIII-2

Ezio Auditore has sneaked into Final Fantasy XIII-2. Well, his costume has anyway.

Coming on the back of the Assassin’s Creed star’s appearance in Soulcalibur 5, Square has revealed that Ezio’s trademark beaked hood and robes will be available as an optional outfit for the character Noel Kreiss.

It will be DLC though, so don’t be surprised if they charge you for the honour of donning the master assassin’s clobber. Full details will be revealed “at a later date.” A pic of the outfit is below.

This is almost as odd as Gears or War in Lost Planet. But, I like it and will probably get this costume... in a DotW.

wow....looks cool, but anyone else think it's kinda pointless? FF borrowing from other game worlds doesn't seem right to me, there own version of it would be OK, but a carbon copy, just seems like Ubisoft wanted a quick buck to me, not a purchase from me, i'll stick with whatever clobber comes in the box for this one.

could be worse though, they could have borrowed something like....prince of persia? lol,

@4 "Noel Kreiss gets his assassin on"
His. As in not a woman. Now perhaps you should be quiet before you make yourself look even more stupid.

OT: I personally wouldn't pay for it, but to each their own.

I would just like to point out that I think #4 may actually have some form of mental illness, like dropped on his head at birthitus. Only possible explaination for his stupidity.

Anyway, OT, looks pretty cool, not a massive fan of the SC series but I enjoyed 2 and 4, so I'll probably get 5, although I'm sure Ezio will be more than enough Assassin for me.

Crap, saw Soul Calibur and assumed it was to do with that, not Final Fantasy.
Anyway, costume looks cool, doubt I'll buy it though.

@#4 read what #9 said, then read it again.

You should also look closely to the outfit after you get more armor in the game (Assassin's Creed) obviously....

I don't think I'd pay for it, but if it was free, or pre-order DLC or somehow you could buy it with uPlay points it would be sweet (I know this game itself is not Ubi).

I used uPlay points to play through Prince of Persia: TFS in the Assassin costume. Sad as it sounds, actually made me enjoy the game more.

I like ideas like this, it's DLC so it's optional to buy and adds that extra bit of 'how sweet is this' into the game. Obviously you can't do this with every character for the game, sporting a famous franchise's costume, but it's nice to see extra costumes for characters in an FF game, something that hasn't been done since VIII (even if they were temporary). It's good that they're taking ideas from the Tales series, which has multiple costumes for characters (even if they're not 'famous' costumes like Assassin's Creed type)

Not sure if Noel deserves the Assassin's Cloak.

Lightning on the other hand would be perfectly suited for it.

Ezio is now in 2 games he shouldnt be in 3rd of February =/

This all just seems like a big Marketing ploy by Ubisoft, as if Assassin's Creed wasn't popular enough already.

@4 Square artist don't know how to draw men, so they often look like women. It's very easy to mistake them for women.

And nope, I still won't buy a FF game even with Ezio's costume being in it.

Personally, I dunno why people get upset about this kind of stuff.

Does Ezio belong? No. But this is a costume, not him, which is even less offensive (also, wasn't his or Altair's outfit also in Metal Gear Solid 4 or am I making that up? Everyone forgetting that?)

Are characters often thrown in as promotions that don't need to exist? Sure.

But I still think they're crazy and fun. Only time I was upset was when 3 character slots in TMNT Smash Up were taken up by Rabbids.

Otherwise, bring on the annual SoulCalibur crossover, Frank West and Isaac Clarke in a bunch of Capcom and EA games they have no business being in, and so on. I support it.

@ Yes they do. Noel and Vincent from FFVII for example are bishy, they are "pretty men" Then take Auron and Steiner (although Steiner is very styalised) as they dont look like women at all.

Like someone has already said, this isn't Ezio. It's his outfit. Furthermore, this will be DLC. If you don't like or want it, don't buy it. I'm not 100% sold on the game, and I will only purchase this DLC if it's 240 points or less. Even that seems a bit much after typing it. Anyway, I'll probably forget about this until release date.

Lawsuit? Kidding! :P

But yeah, alot of games are featuring Ezio in a way. Soul Calibur 5, Team Fortress 2 (promo items if you pre-order the PC version) and this game.
I never got to finish the first Final Fantasy XIII. Sadly stuck on the first disc at the Odin boss battle -.- But if I ever actually finish the game, I'll play this one and maybe download the outfit. It looks pretty cool.

Good to see other companies implementing the Badassary that is Ezio. Now if only he would say "requiescat in pace" after every battle that he wins. :)

i really like this idea n.n, because i don't really like their original outfits :c it's wishful thinking that serahs costumes designed by akb48 will hit our marketplaces so hopefully they'll make a cool costume for her too. i like that they altered bits of it too so it's not so clunky /cus noel is smaller.

@5 Kingdom Hearts. brilliant crossover between Disney & Final Fantasy. Square have had sucess with universe crossovers before, and Ezio's outfit looks way better than Noel's current wardrobe. I say let them try it. If it sells, good luck to them. if it doesn't, no one gets hurt.
