Remember that Game of Thrones trailer about the big wall made of ice that we had up yesterday? I didn't want to upset anyone, but frankly it was rubbish. Sorry.
This one, however, is a bit more like it. Full of all kinds of dramatic goings on, it's admittedly light on gameplay and a little rough around the edges, but it's heavy on the tone that we should expect. All gritty, manly men doing manly men stuff in a forebodingly wintery set – it looks alright. Great soundtrack too. Now I must get around to reading those books.
Game of Thrones, the action RPG developed by Cyanide and based on the A Song of Fire and Ice novels by George R.R. Martin (who chips in on the game in a "supervisory" role) is out early next year.
There's an official website with a few more titbits of info, if you're so inclined. Trailer's below.
