2nd!Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:18 PM
Hope it's good!IGN gave it 8 and said its amazing but not like the first Alan Wake. Its more full on action, less suspense.. kinda worries me!Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:20 PM
I hope this game sells so well that they HAVE to do a proper sequel to the first game ASAP.Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:28 PM
This was what I originally thought American Nightmare was going to be like... "Wait, where am I?" "Alan I am really sorry but you're in......America" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOooooooOOO!"Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:32 PM
hopefully this will be a huge sucess and they start making alan wake 2 (Retail) ;DFriday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:48 PM
Is it me or did the setting suddenly become more Wild West like? Cacti and saloon looking buildings, construction grounds that look like old oil pumps in the west... Also, I will definitely get this, but it depresses me that there is less suspense and more action. I loved the eerieness of the first game. Here's hoping they continue on with the series, create an Alan Wake 2, and keep the suspense going.Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:48 PM
@3 - IGNs reviews are horrendous, didn't think anyone based their purchases on those reviews.Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 12:48 PM
Please please please let this mean they are working on a sequel. The original was one of the games I had the most fun getting 1000gs on.Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 01:26 PM
Why has 3 been thumbed down twice seemingly because he mentioned IGN? he didnt even say he was basing his purchase on the review but merely that a review is a way to gain some info. Man people are childish on the net.Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 01:30 PM

So excited for this and I Am Alive. The other two don't look interestingFriday, February 17, 2012 @ 02:32 PM
@8 Did I say I was? Noooope Merely that information conveyed within the review indicated that elements of the gameplay were different, which the makers themselves have also said.. sheeeshFriday, February 17, 2012 @ 07:02 PM
Seriously looking forward to this game, can't wait to hear Barry Wheelers witty charms again!Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 09:29 PM
I think IGN's review was very good. I can smell more action hereFriday, February 17, 2012 @ 11:50 PM

20th!!!Saturday, February 18, 2012 @ 04:29 AM
@14 You should at least try the demo for Warp, it's got some rather good challenges, and it's a lot more fun than it comes across. On-topic, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where the story goes from here. Glad to see Barry back, though I have to wonder what's part of reality and what's part of the Darkness, given the nature of the story and characters. =/Sunday, February 19, 2012 @ 11:45 AM

Here’s the launch trailer for Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, fresh from developers Remedy.
The XBLA title follows the troubled author as he battles his evil doppelgänger Mr. Scratch in an alternate reality. Offering a solid chunk of content for a downloadable title of this production quality, the game also features Fight till Dawn, a kind of Wake-flavoured Horde Mode.
The new trailer’s below. Alan Wake's American Nightmare hits XBLA as part of the House Party promotion on February 22nd for 1200 Microsoft Points.
