Cyanide Studio's Game of Thrones RPG may be visiting locations familiar to fans of the books and TV series, but that doesn’t mean it can’t introduce a few of its own. Castlewood is one such place, as displayed in these brooding new screenshots.

“The township of Castlewood will be one of the many places the two heroes of the game – Mors, sworn brother of the Night's Watch, and Alester, the Red Priest – will explore and fight through,” says the accompanying release.

“From King’s Landing and Red Keep to the Wall, an Epic quest awaits our heroes, guided by revenge, loyalty, honor, and family, along a twisting plot filled with betrayal and vicious hardships.”

Check out the six new screens below. Game of Thrones is out on May 15th, 2012.

You can play as a Brother of the Night's Watch ? Wow. Now I'm interested. Will this have co-op ? Is this a game à la Witcher 2 ?

So it's true.. what they say..

Winter is coming.

For a moment I was desperately trying to remember where Castlewood was, as it didn't ring any bells. Then I read the article to discover it's new. Still on the fence about this one.

There's one instance where that saying is not true: Ontario this year.

We've had very little snow, that which did come down very promptly melted in a fit of anger over it not getting farther below freezing.

Winter did not come.

Hope it lives up to the quality of books it's based on! If it is then it should be very good

It does not strike me as anything too exciting. Will keep an eye, but will most likely end up with pretty mediocre scores...
