That Japanese Dragon's Dogma demo we were talking about yesterday? We’ve now got details and confirmation of a European release.
Capcom has announced that you will be able to to build your own hero and main Pawn with the character creation tool, play the demo, then carry that character over to the main game, should you buy it. Which is handy.
The demo features two character classes, each with their own encounters. If you choose the melee expert Fighter, then you will take part in a prologue quest set before the game’s main narrative, in which you must battle through tunnels before taking on the Chimera. If you pick the Strider class, meanwhile, specialising in bows and daggers, you’ll fight a Griffin in plains surrounding the capital of Gransys.
No release date has been confirmed, nor indeed a US release, but Capcom has confirmed that the demo will hit before the game launches on May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe.
