Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is to receive a batch of free content next week, Konami has announced.

The content, available to download from March 6th,  will bring all the squad rosters up to date following the January transfer window. It will also update the Spanish, German and Japanese national strips and add eight new Adidas and Nike boot styles.

The free DLC will also contain the Adidas Finale Munich ball, set to be used in this year's Champions League final.

I'd been a longtime fan of PES over Fifa, then I played PES 2011. Oh my days, that was a horrible game. So bad that it made me skip this one. Still thinking of getting it eventually, I just usually got it on release date every year without fail.

Use to love me some Pro Evo, but I switched to FIFA when it got its act together in 2008. I always give PES a try at demo stage each year but its fallen so far behind.

Pes 2012 is not bad its a huge improvement on the previous ones but still has a long to go to top fifa. No question pes was the better in the ps2 days but since this gen its has struggled to adapt and for ill wait till its a £5 before buying it like i did with 2011. Im not sure if its gona be around for much longer to be honest the sales have been so poor ill be shocked if it isnt scrapped next year.

Don't think I've enjoyed a PES games since PES 5.
Either way doesn't sound like a bad DLC for the fans.

How the mighty have fallen. Was a long time PES fan and even in my deluded defense of it the time came when FIFA 11 was released and showed me the way. Have played this and still can't bring myself to buy it which is a crying shame as it was so good for so long. RIP PES.

Why read the story if you don't like the game?...
And why comment just to bad mouth the game? o.O

Looking forward to next week now! :D
