Mafia II developer 2K Czech has reportedly come on board to help provide a little extra input on Grand Theft Auto V, supposedly providing some of its open-world expertise for Rockstar's next big game after Max Payne 3 this May.
According to VG247 and its source, 2K Czech has apparently been working with Rockstar on GTA V for a year, helping out in creating some of the elaborate animations for the game's cut scenes and gameplay. Therefore it sounds as though 2K Czech could be helping bolster the manpower on GTA V, and as a studio under the Take 2 umbrella, the idea of Rockstar and 2K collaborating isn't too far-fetched.
Meanwhile, over on 2K Czech's official site, the developer is hiring for a Senior Character Artist, Senior 3D Environment Artist, Senior Animator and an Online Programmer, to work on what appears to be an undisclosed multiplatform project. Is it GTA V or could it in fact be Mafia III?
Mafia III is supposedly in development after a lengthy period of pre-production, and could be coming to a next-generation console near you. Of course, this is all rumour territory once again, but it sounds pretty viable to us.
