Activision are planning on adding even more content to Modern Warfare 3’s already bumper DLC schedule.
Call of Duty digital vice president Jamie Berger has said that thanks to Elite’s unique delivery system, Activision can sidestep the constraints usually imposed on DLC. It basically means that between Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games, they can produce more content of different kinds.
So, what are we getting? Well, they haven’t really said yet. All we know is that there will be at least four pieces of content in addition to the 20 already scheduled to drop through Elite. These pieces will be free and will be timed exclusives for Elite subs.
Beyond that, Elite itself is apparently due for a bunch more content. Expect clan leveling, new Elite TV shows, mobile app updates, tablet support, Spec-Ops leaderboards and more.
