So, Ridge Racer: Unbounded Wasn't Delayed in North America At All Then?

Remember when Namco Bandai announced that Ridge Racer: Unbounded had been delayed in North America? That was a load of old codswallop apparently, as the game launched yesterday as per the originally confirmed release date. It just seems that the publisher forgot to tell anyone, and stealthily snuck the crash-happy racer into stores.
Namco Bandai had originally said that the North American release had been kept back until later in 2012 “to pack the disc with features that will truly make the game sing”. We can only assume that Ridge Racer: Unbounded was already singing by the time release day rolled around, so it was decided to quietly release the game. Confused? So are we.
Joystiq cottoned on to the 'undelaying' of Unbounded when the game was spotted by NeoGAF users, which then prompted Namco to reply with a statement confirming that Ridge Racer: Unbounded had indeed launched yesterday in North America. Worst. Launch. Ever.
Ridge Racer: Unbounded is out now in North America and will be heading to Europe on Friday, 30th March. Here's the launch trailer showing off the game's powerful City Editor.
