Hitting stores around the world this week, Dante's high-definition makeover in Devil May Cry HD Collection is on its way, bringing together Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition on one disc at a budget recommended retail price of £29.99/$39.99.

As is tradition to celebrate the launch of a game, Capcom has put together a launch trailer showing off the revamped trilogy in all its glory, with Dante donning his stylish red trenchcoat and shooting and carving up the demonic hordes.

You can check out the launch trailer below to see all three games with their HD paint jobs, then read our Devil May Cry HD Collection review for the verdict.

I will get some peace because no one will dare talk to me whilst I am playing due to their heads ending up in my mouth.
Looks really nice !

I never played the first, borrowed the second one from a friend and loved it, bought the third and loved it even more........ so judging by the hate the second gets the first one must of been crazy good.

The days of DMC.... *sigh* how I remember them so...

These HD collections need to be thrown onto GoD. Then I could have DMC 1,2,3,4 on my HDD. That would be the day.

Also, towards #5...

@5 - DMC isnt made by Capcom....it is made by the gods above us trying to show off their sadistic side. :3

That was a pretty lame trailer for the game.

It's like, they quickly decided "Oh! Let's put something out! Umm... does he Steve have his capture card working? Have him start a new game and get some footage."

However, the collection is awesome thus far.

Has this been stretch and croped for widescreen as that is what I could make from the bits they showed going from 4:3 to 16:9

The trailer really doesn't show off the gameplay very well.

I like my Xbox 360 and PS3 equally as both have their ups and downs, however
I feel that with all these HD collections on 360 Microsoft is constantly
ripping us off achievement wise. All these 360 HD collections have multiple
games sharing one 1000g achievement list (with the exception of metal gear
which has two 1000g lists across 3 games) however on PS3 each game in a
collection has it's own "trophy list". I personally think MS should learn
from Sony and make separate achievement lists for each game in a collection. Wouldn't people prefer 99 achievements for 3000g instead of 99 for 1000g?
I mean look on the bright side then people wouldn't have to play DMC 2... Unless they want to for some odd reason.

The trailer's music makes me think I must need to smoke meth to play the game correctly.

The 3rd one is Godly...the first one is also a great game once you get past the first two or three annoying levels..but that 2nd one..JESUS it's too easy and the plot isn't even cannon.

But yeah, already bought these games like 10+ years ago...thanks but no thanks crapcom...ur failing.

I love HD remakes. Everyone keeps saying how they want their old games to come back, and then they complain when they re-release them. Sheesh, I guess some people are never happy. Now, I like DMC, but if they made an Onimisha HD collection, I'd be on that sooner than DMC. Don't judge me.
