2K has released a new trailer looking at Spec Ops: The Line's gritty narrative, which takes place in a sandstorm-ridden Dubai where the Damned 33rd stalk the streets, executing innocent civilians and anyone who refuses to fall in line with the platoon's bloody-minded objective.

Playing as Walker, with his squad mates Adams and Lugo, you'll need to brave the adverse conditions to get to John Konrad, as Dubai tears itself apart at the seams and danger lurks around every corner. In the new gameplay trailer, you can take another look at the unflinching violence and grim scenes you'll face.

Take a look at the new Spec Ops: The Line trailer below, then check out our latest hands-on preview to find out more about 2K and Yager's uncompromising war game. Spec Ops: The Line is out on June 26th in North America and June 29th in Europe.

Looks okay, graphics aren't top notch, but the gameplay defiantly has a ghost recon feel to it from what I played of the beta.
Looks like it will be a good story shooter for a month in the summer.

looks pretty good, although every time I hear "John Konrad" I keep thinking "come with me if you want to live".

Looks good. But, if it is only a 5hr campaign with nickle and dime DLC....I'll pass. I refuse to be ripped off.

@6 The campaign seems to be the main focus of this game, I doubt they would make it a short campaign. Even if it is short, you can try replaying it, making different choices you did in the first playthrough.

"Death toll...too many" - don't know why that struck me as cheesily funny. As if just one innocent life wasn't enough :P

On topic, despite people's skepticism I'm actually looking forward to this one. I love the "every shot has a consequence" element. Not just another shooter :)

To bad they dropped the co-op campaign part tho, but after reading and watching an interview it kinda made sence they left it out because of the different "moral" choices you encounter while playing as Walker. Besides the campaign theres ofcourse muliplayer and for pre-orders you get that fubar pack, what has some nice extra,s for mp. I hope they made these moral choice option somewhat better then what we had in Army Of Two:The 40th Day, those where pretty simple. Oh and for those who might wonder that this Capt.Walker,s voice sounds familiar, well its non other then Nolan North! Yep same guy that did the Uncharted series and Salem in Army of Two and many other games.

Looking better every time I see a new trailer. Can't wait game looks action packed and besides that it's the thinking mans shooter can't just run in guns blazing like Call of Duty gotta stop and think what the consequences of your actions are I like this idea. Plus Nolan North as the main character great, also there looks to be a nice variety of weapons in the game. Looking forward to this big time gonna be epic...

Only thing I don't understand is when you send in a team of Delta Force Operators doesn't the team usually consist of more than 3 men? Or is what we are seeing what's left of walkers unit after an ambush or something? It's possible they went in with a full team and Konrad's men ambushed them killing the rest? Well I guess come June we will see...

I think I am starting to see why the co-op campaign option was dropped I think they wanted to put the pressure of maintaining your squad and making these hard choices completely on the player. Having other people there might make you rush through as it usually does when playing co-op campaign and they probably didn't want you just asking your co-op partner which one to pick maybe that's the story...
