With Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's Teeth of Naros DLC coming next week, EA has released a few screenshots to help whet your appetite for the add-on that'll be transporting players to an all-new new city called Idyllia. Floating in the sky above the titular Teeth of Naros, Idyllia presents all manner of new challenges to face.

There's a total of 20 new side quests to tackle, spread across five new dungeons, as well as a new race to meet and some new enemies to fight. Suffice to say, you'll be put to the test against new dangers, but you'll have three extra Twists of Fate, nine additional armour sets, six new shields and 18 unique weapons to unearth.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's Teeth of Naros DLC will be landing on April 17th for 800 Microsoft Points. Check out some of the screenshots below, or take a look at all 16 in the gallery.

  • Cool need to complete the game first :D
  • That sword looks awesome. I love the art style for this game. Also happy to see decent DLC coming out. Is there any word on a level cap in the future for this game?
  • Hopefully they can up the level cap and the stash capacity limit. Sounds great though.
  • @3 thats exactly what needs to happen
  • They are really dropping a lot of DLC for this game, I wonder when a Ultimate edition will be coming?
  • I like that they aren't going buck wild on the price of their expansions/DLC and only charging 800msp. I just need to start this game! I've had it day 1 and haven't even opened the plastic!
  • This game is insanely long...and great. This isn't appreciably shorter than Skyrim but is every inch as fun, IMO. The first DLC felt really different from the core game overall (which was great) and I hope this has a unique feel as well. And the limit on storage is annoying.
  • Hoorah! This is most welcome.
  • I personally enjoyed this far more than skyrim, got almost the same amount of time cause replay value was way more than, once more this is my opinion. Also thought that unlike skyrim the combat was amazing. And birthed nothing remotely similar to the "arrow in the knee"..
  • @3 If they did that w/ Dead Kel I might not have traded my copy in to pay off Xenoblade.
  • Cool. I'll pick this up eventually. Only about halfway through Dead Kel at the moment.
  • Still playing the game, the quests never end! lol
  • Great news for fans BUT not for me I have already started to get bored. This game is exceptionally long, I'm 62 hours into game and am currently in Adessa, still need to do 2 more cities, Will definitely clock more then 100 hours for me. My build is Finesse/Sorcery and am currently on level 26. I guess I should try changing classes to get more out of it + I'm playing on Hard and it's actually not too hard, when one has mastered his class abilities. DLC are definitely not for me, I don't want to extend it 20+ hours more. And for the record I've 30+ side quests. I wish there is a sequel and next time the side quests and story is as good as awesome combat
  • @13 you are seriously whining because the game is too long?! Omg would you have liked a cod 4 hour campaign ffs...
  • The problem is if you faff about too much it could get boring towards the end IMO. Excellent game but it overwhelmed me with quests everywhere I went. Once I focused on the main and faction storylines it was a whole lot better. Klurikon is a nice change of scenery too!
  • @14 it drags on because nothing interesting is happening. I agree completely.
  • Really liked this game. The story was pretty bad though, just couldn't get into it. Also, the armor was kind of ugly. I might grab the DLC if it's a deal of the week in the future.
  • If only that glitch got fixed first and I could actually finish the game. Or maybe it is possible to play DLC before finishing the game? I loved the game and would give it 9/10, but ever since getting stuck and not being able to progress my score dropped to 7/10 and the longer it takes the worse it gets in my eyes. I understand glitched mission or textures etc, but not something that stops you from completing the game...
  • How long is the main game? Still dont have it,I have been putting myself off buying it for ages.
  • @19 It depends on how much side quests you do, I'll say minimum 50 hours and maximum 120+ hours (Can be more)
  • I do not care about what you all think about it. I truely believe that this is one of the best Action RPG's that I have played in a while the only thing that is missing is a four player co-op mode and this game will be perfect. Good story, great weapons & armor, perfect gameplay and love how many quest their are in the game. Hopefully they will add the co-op for part II and keep everything else the same and just make the world of amalur bigger.
  • @21 I have to completely agree with you. I thought that this is just as great as skyrim. Plus, these DLC's give me a reason to go back and enjoy the game even more.
  • Where have you got four-player co-op from? It's a sprawling RPG, not a shooter or a linear dungeon-crawler. As to the DLC, I really want the level cap gone, or at least raised. Since I've been doing the side and faction quests as well as Dead Kel, I've only just reached Mel Senshir in the main quest and am already level 38. Only got two more levels before I hit the ceiling.
  • @23 If the storyline is as trite as so many here proclaim, then co-op may not be such a stretch. In the end, any real-time RPG (i.e. Skyrim) could have co-op, though the number of glitches you'd end up with might be even worse than normal. If you balance it, they will come.
  • Making a game co-op isn't quite as easy as just adding "press start to join in". They have to redesign the entire thing. Unless it's a dungeon-crawler, RPGs are either single-player or MMO. The few that try otherwise generally fail.
  • @25 i highly disagree. Even though it was garbage and was severly rushed sacred 2 was a co-op action adventure rpg. If they had taken their time that game would have been amazing. This game could have been epic with co-op but it is still a great game none the less
  • @26 Sacred 2 was most certainly NOT garbage, just an acquired taste perhaps. I played the shit out of that game and there was a crazy amount of unique loot in that game. As for Amalur, Dead Kel was a surprisingly lengthy DLC and except for some grinding achievements, pretty fun too.
  • @27 you are right it wasnt garbage but it wasnt very good either. Imo the only redeaming quality that game had was co-op. Holy shit i got side tracked bad this dlc looks pretty dam cool and dead kel was very enjoyable.
