Cinderella is one of hard rock’s most successful bands during the 1980s, selling more than 20 million albums worldwide. And next week, you'll be able to get your mitts on a three pack of songs from the multi-platinum selling band.

The band’s second single from its triple platinum debut album 'Night Songs' opens the pack, while power ballad and the band’s most successful single, “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)” from 1998’s 'Long Cold Winter', continues the Cinderella goodness.

Rounding out the pack will be “Shelter Me”, which was the lead single from 1990’s 'Heartbreak Station'. “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)” also comes with an optional Pro Guitar and Pro Bass Upgrade. Check out the tracks below.

Cinderella Pack 01 - 440 Microsoft Points (160 Microsoft Points each. X = 80 Microsoft Points per track for a Pro Guitar/Pro Bass upgrade O= support for keyboards)

  • Cinderella – “Nobody’s Fool” O
  • Cinderella – “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)” O X
  • Cinderella – “Shelter Me” O

(All tracks are original master recordings)

Look out for them on the Xbox Live Marketplace from April 24th.

I have been waiting for Cinderella since RB1 came out but I was really hoping for the metal Cinderella. These are great songs but I hope this leads to getting Gypsy Road, Shake Me, and Somebody Save Me. Now we need some WASP and Dokken.

@5, If instead of complaining here, the people who bring that up every week sent a letter to Microsoft suggesting that music games have their DLC moved to a specific section, they might actually get Microsoft to do it. But complaining about it here has absolutely no effect.

Can't wait to play some Rock Band, tonight at the galaaaaaaaa

At first I thought of the Counting Crows song "Big Yellow Taxi" when I saw the line "Don't Know What You Got (Til It's Gone). Didn't that song come out in or around 1998 also, or is that date a typo in the article (possibly 1989?).

Rock Band music store is basically it's own section, no need for a section on the dash for it. If they want to profit they really need to start putting out music from relateable bands.

@5 To be perfectly honest, I don't understand what you "Rockband ruins the add-on section with their DLC" people are whining about. I mean, do you just aimlessly browse the add-ons looking for stuff to buy? Personally, if I want an add-on I: 1)Select the letter of the game 2)Select the game 3)Buy the DLC. It's remarkably easy. If I just want to know what's out, I check the internet (this site for example) rather than aimlessly filtering through an unsorted mess. Seriously though, I just don't understand what the big deal is.

OT: While I despise glam metal and everything about it, I must give RB credit. They have quite the large selection of music now, and while they might not stray too far from the mainstream of music (I'm into metal and its more extreme subgenres), I can appreciate their diverse library.

Oh and on a side note, I'm not knocking anyone who likes glam metal. Don't want to come off as one of those assholes who won't let other people enjoy their own taste in music.

@8, If that's the case, then it has the exact same effect as posting your complaint here. But you'd be surprised how many companies have some level of customer support that will read letters and emails sent to them. If 100 people write letters saying the same thing, there's a decent chance that someone who can actually do something about it will see it as a good idea.

If they have someone on staff who cruises the comments feed on a news section, they have someone opening the mail. If they don't have someone on staff that cruises the comments section of news articles, they probably still have someone on staff opening their mail. Maximize the odds of someone seeing it.

Yeah, here's what you can do, Harmonix. Play "Nobody's Fool" to yourselves and pretend it's from me, because I'm not your fool. $2 for a song I can only use in your silly game ($3 if I want the full version with all the proper instrument support). Or I can go on iTunes and pay $0.99 or less and use the songs for just about anything else I want without having to keep the song going with plastic instrument controllers. Get bent.

Oh, and #5 is right, all the RB spam is annoying. As for 12 and 14, you guys are idiots. Not everyone is so dedicated to their games to be on a site like this every day that tells them what's coming out. Some people actually use the "new releases" section to see what is new because they don't want to (and shouldn't have to if they don't want to) check websites for that info. So having 50 bazillion pieces of shit from Rock Band in there all the time is obnoxious.

Of course, if this stupid rhythm game fad would just die already, that would be a win for everyone. No more crappy songs spamming up the new DLC section of the store. No more spending hundreds of dollars every time a new game comes out for new toy guitars and drums that clutter up your house. No more getting milked constantly on overpriced DLC songs. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Rock Band, Dance Central, Just Dance, and every other game like them: Please do humanity a favor and fucking die already.

Or I can go on iTunes and pay $0.99 or less and use the songs for just about anything else I want without having to keep the song going with plastic instrument controllers. Get bent."

Or you can realize that, y'know, the group of developers that create every piece of DLC (and the game itself) have to get paid for their work in creating an interactive medium. Whether you like it or not, Rock Band and the like ARE interactive...just like every other video game out there. Music is aural entertainment. There is no input beyond whether you like the song or not. Games like RB, Just Dance, etc. require large amounts of work just to make sure that everything works properly, let alone the time and effort that would go into synching up the audio with the buttons you press on your plastic instrument. So, and I quote, "Get bent".

"Oh, and #5 is right, all the RB spam is annoying. As for 12 and 14, you guys are idiots. Not everyone is so dedicated to their games to be on a site like this every day that tells them what's coming out. Some people actually use the "new releases" section to see what is new because they don't want to (and shouldn't have to if they don't want to) check websites for that info. So having 50 bazillion pieces of shit from Rock Band in there all the time is obnoxious."

And the spammed DLC for Gotham City Impostors wasn't annoying? Not only have you used a non-existent number ('bazillion') you've over exaggerated by a ludicrous amount. GCI had something like 100 piece of DLC within a week of it being out...on top of actually having it all unlock-able in game, if I remember correctly. DLC is just that...DLC. Downloadable Content. Something that wasn't part of the original product. So...your point is what? You have to scroll past, on average, something like FIVE Rock Band DLC panels. Yeah, that takes so much fuckin effort to do. Y'know, the left and right bumpers scroll left and right roughly 7 objects at a time, right? So a button press skips the "50 bazillion" Rock Band dlcs you see every week.

As for the bit about not having to go online to check....you don't. Rythym game DLC doesn't take up anywhere near as much DLC as you think it does, nor would you have to check online for every weeks content. It's not uncommon to see 2 weeks to a months schedule for DLC online...not to mention, if you're just browsing the DLC section of XBL, you've got fuckin time to spare. Browsing is a leisurely thing. People who know what they want can go in, get it, and get out in a couple minutes.

"Of course, if this stupid rhythm game fad would just die already, that would be a win for everyone. No more crappy songs spamming up the new DLC section of the store. No more spending hundreds of dollars every time a new game comes out for new toy guitars and drums that clutter up your house. No more getting milked constantly on overpriced DLC songs. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. Rock Band, Dance Central, Just Dance, and every other game like them: Please do humanity a favor and fucking die already."

Maybe a win for you...not for me. I enjoy the diversity of video games that exist. 'Crappy' is your opinion, and does not cover everyone's opinion. Plus, I don't know about you or others...but I never paid hundreds of dollars for every new rhythm game I got in a series. The old gear is just as compatible withe new games as they were with older ones. I still have (and use) a plastic guitar from Guitar Hero 2 when I play Rock Band 3. Plus I still have the drums, guitar, and microphone for Rock Band 1. "What does that mean?", you might find yourself asking..well, what it means my friend, is that you don't NEED the shiny new thing JUST BECAUSE it's shiny and new. It also means I've saved the "hundreds" of dollars you claimed I had to spend. Just because you're stupid enough to buy everything you don't need, rather than just the game, is your own fault. We've already been over the price of the DLC, so I'm not gonna rehash that anymore, since I doubt it would sink through your thick skull. A clutter in your house? Really? A home has plenty or storage space for a plastic drum kit that is designed to break down, a microphone, and a plastic guitar.

And finally, to your 'nothing to lose' statement....there's plenty to lose. If rhythm games phase out of existence, then that means companies like Harmonix go out of business, tons of people lose their jobs, and a lack of overall diversity in a media that's already stagnating under the number of shooters that pour out every year. If you enjoy buying a new Call of Duty every year, fine by me. Go play it. It's an average game for average gamers. If you enjoy any semblance of diversity, you'd quit your bitching and realize that this is the creativity of the human mind at work...and it sure as hell takes more brainpower to learn to play Rock Band than it does to learn to play Call of Duty.

RB: Keep rhythm, keep fingers/hands/feet moving, if singing, learn pitch, learn to do more faster as difficulty goes up
CoD: Learn 2 qu1k skope, lrn 2 dropsh0t, decide which corner to camp in, learn which wall to hide behind on harder difficulties.

I enjoy my average games, but I know which one I'm more likely to spend my money on and return to...and it isn't the average one.

Whoever says there is only five or six Rock Band DLC per week in the new release section is a freaking idiot who has not been in the new release section since the new update in November. Rock Band Network stuff now also shows up. They release RBN stuff all of the time, and for ever song that is release it shows two dlcs: 1 paid content and 1 trial. It is more like 20+ RBN each week plus the normal RB songs. It is nuts. I agree the project gotham whatever dlc was nuts too, but that was only for the first week or so, and then they realized no one plays the game and no one is buying the stuff so they stopped releasing the DLC for it. The ROck band DLC is every freaking week. And of course people go looking at the new release section. Research must have shown that lots of people do it and find stuff to buy while doing it or otherwise microsoft would not have created the section.

just to let people know instead of complaining that it is confusing going through the rb add-ons page why not download the rb music store game hub and use that it only shows the actual song and not the trial versions you can even search for songs by categorizing everything i use the music store all the time and have never one been confused.
In addition can rock band please stop adding songs from bands you never really hear about, i am all for the diversity but please can we have various genres from nowadays and not from like the 60's the 80's onwards fair enough , in my opinion is where the art of music started in general.

@19 people like you are the bane of my existance. If you don't like rythem games, don't play. You obviously care enough about the game that you read the article and posted. Troll

your opinion sucks and is completely retarded. What do you want, LMFAO or some new shit like that? That's art? Maybe you have never heard of Sgt Peppers album by the Beatles. Go listen to it, then look up the definition of concept album and explain to me how that isn't art.
