Here’s a new vid for Tequila Works’ Xbox 360-exclusive Deadlight, in which the team discusses the game’s 1980s setting. It’s an interesting watch, as the devs touch on their various influences from novelist J. G. Ballard to comic book artist Richard Corben and beyond.
Deadlight is an action-based puzzle platformer, with players taking the role of Randall Wayne, the survivor of an alternate 1980s catastrophe. You’ll have to overcome obstacles, dodge enemies, set diversions and pick up “tons of collectibles.” That last one scares us a bit. You just know there's gonna be a tough Achievement attached.
Check out the vid below. Deadlight is out on XBLA this summer.
