SEGA has today announced that Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown will be high-kicking its way on to the Xbox Live Arcade in just over three weeks time this June, bringing a bunch of separate character customisation packs to download, containing hundreds of additional items to help personalise your fighters.
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown adds two new characters to the game, including fan favourite sumo master, Taka-Arashi and newcomer, Jean Kujo. It also boasts the usual array of dynamic, interactive fighting arenas, as well as console-only features like a detailed Training Mode, Online Room Matches for up to 8 players and match recording for sharing replays with friends.
There'll also be overhauled fighting mechanics and the usual balance and depth you'd expect from Virtua Fighter. You'll be able to get your mitts on Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown on June 6th for 1200 Microsoft Points. Character Customisation Packs will also be available on launch day for 400 Microsoft Points each, with 650-900 items for all 19 fighters. They'll be joined on launch day by two further customisation packs, with items for 9 characters in one pack, while the other pack includes items for 10 fighters. They'll be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points apiece. Blimey.
